Minun and Plusle Round 1
Encounter Theme
Whoahw, she didn't actually expected to meet some Pokemon among the branches of the berrie bush! But there they were, a couple of Electric Rodents. Seperated into Plus and Minus, but never afar from one another. God, were these adorable!
They didn't looked like they were prone to fight. They looked rather...curious about who came along them to pick some berries from 'their' bushes.
Shiva returned their smile, noticing how the air around them seemed to shimmer with electricity. "Hey there, lil' ones. Don't worry, I'm not here to harm you. In fact, if you grant me to have some berries of your bushes, I might show you something. How's about that...?

Mechanics:
Plusle and Minun are cheerful Pokemon, and I assume they're relative young and curious. If I succed on amazing them by pulling off some sort of show, I might get them to agree on joining me. Bet they haven't seen something similar yet.
Whether they agree on my offer or not, calling out Cottonee and using Growth.

Moran miraculously gains 1hp as the GM remembers the resistance chart.

Mankey kips up and finds Moran directly underfoot.

If a trainer has its Pokemon use a move, it must want to battle, right? Awesome! Let's fight!
Minun starts by showing off her own status move, while Plusle gets riiiiight up close to the Cottonee and prods her curiously with her sparking nose.
Charm
(2)(3)(3) - Charm fails to affect Cottonee, though we both know Shiva is very charmed by Plusle and Minun.
Nuzzle

str 2 + 1 power + 1 STAB -2 vitality +2 Plus = 4 dice, -1 Resist
(4)(5)(1)(4) - 3 success, 1 damage. Cottonee takes 2 damage and is paralyzed!! -2 Dexterity and a pain penalization, ouch.
The Pokemon don't seem upset, more like hyperactive. Diplomacy is still an option.

"This isn't going to well for me, isn't it?" Ventus said, just shaking his head at his poor luck. Its as if Reshiram themselves has decreed that it was not going to catch the Shroomish (OOC: Curse you dice!). Going over to his Togepi, he picked it up, and shrugged his shoulders at the Shroomish. "It appears that I'm no match for you at the moment, Shroomish. While I still have a chance, I rather withdraw now, and save my Raphael the pain of being KOed. Still, it was good experience for me and my little angel, so thank you for your time," Ventus said, looking a bit worried at his Togepi's condition.
With all the Absorb attacks it took, it was looked very frail and sickly. Sniffling, it buried its way deeper in its arms, not looking very happy at all with its inability to make friends with the mushroom. With a small smile on his face, he rubbed their back soothingly, doing his level best to console it. Looking over to the Shroomish, he decided that he might as well give one last go to recruiting it. "I didn't pass your test, little mushroom, but I would still like to humbly request you join us. While I'm an amateur at fighting, I do know how to properly care for Pokémon. I know that I can not only provide for you better than you can out here in the wild, but I also have both the knowledge and determination to aid you in evolving into a fine Breloom," He calmly said to it, doing his best to persuade it with his offering.
"Now, I don't expect you to respect me, since I failed you challenge, but I can promise you that I will more than earn it, if you give me the chance. Together, we can be strong enough to take on the mightest Fire type, be bold enough to clip the wings of any Flying Types that dare face us, and clever enough to stump even the most intelligent of Psychics. What do you say?"
(Well, since battling didn't work out so well, might as well give diplomacy another go. It fits Ventus character better than straight up battling, that is for sure!)

Larry mostly gets on at noonish so I'll autopilot him in this double battle too. He sends out Oshawott because it resists ice and isn't Poison type.

Mechanics:
If the Mankey stood up, it should have triggered the 2nd Order's Conditional which was to push it over, again instead of scratch.
Since the attack hit and did squat for damage anyway, can we just leave the Mankey on the floor?
Because I'm going to keep doing that, with conditional orders to knockdown a standing Mankey and Scratches if I take my order before it stands.

Shroomish agrees to come along, because of your kindness to Togepi. As you speak about Flying types, it jabs a foot straight up into the sky as high as it can (about 10 cm). Then looks at you earnestly and seriously.
Shroomish has 1 happiness and 1 loyalty. Ability: Poison Heal. Its only move is Absorb : )
