Vincent stares at the rope bridge. Part of him is saying he can do it. The other half is screaming not to be stupid.

I've seen enough of my share of stupid today, thank you. I'm chasing an exploding ball for crying out loud. Let's not tempt fate.

Pulling out the Pokedex, he flips open the map function, noting the presence of a bridge around five clicks from his location. A short detour, but better than going for an unplanned swim.

"MALLORN WAS RIGHT. THESE UPDATED DEX'S ARE HANDY." The officer whistles.

Not saying that to his face. He'd use it on the packaging as marketing endorsement.

Moving along Great River bank. Crossing to the South-West. General direction Southward. Will update. He taps a short response to Nathan. Then appends it with coordinates for the bridge.

Mallorn's business senses are tingling!

Goodnight y'all, leave me some goodies. If you post in the next 10 mins I might get to it. But I find if I play this game too close to bedtime, I have realllllly weird dreams, if I can get to sleep at all.

Hello from Saturday, then! Oh, and thanks for answering my questions from earlier. Must have forgotten to erase the STAB from Swift and Quick Attack, copy-paste-error. Sleep well and peacefully~

I see you talking about an explosion. Now I'm scared. Heading right into the Game Thread now, shivering.

Now, though, I have a slight dilemma: Should I honor my deal with Sochi and give her the Shellder, or should I give it to one of the party members? I don't really want it myself, even though its overgrown, so I just want to foist it off someone else and either get a reward for it, or rebuild some good karma with the team. Don't know which one to choose, really.

Whatever you think Ventus would do in character, honestly.
It was your encounter, and since nobody else went after the giant clam, I'd say it's safe to assume we're on board with however you're planning to dispose of it.

Oh. You people mean that explosion. Hmm, let's say Shiva clearly heared it from the distance since she currently has a nice view from atop of the RV (starting to understand why Ven likes this place...), but can't explain it to herself. She's turned towards the waterfront, and in my headcanon the Juggler-Encounter and followed Explosion took place on the other side, so she didn't spot what may have caused it, neither that Vince's involved and that someone (the Juggler himself) got knocked off. 

Once she finished off that Shellder and if the Hoppip have been taken away by the wind meanwhile, she'll be available again to help out Larry once he returns with the unconscious Juggler to the RV, since Vince has asked him to do do. She already cared for Ven as he collapsed, so...

Well, I guess the first question is "Does Sochi want the Shellder?"  If yes, the second question is "Does Ventus want to try and continue this whole...uh...interaction...with her?"  If no, to either of those, the third then becomes "Does anyone want a super large Shellder?" (Shiva probably won't, nor will Nathan.  Maybe Vincent?  He does still need a water type, after all.  Not sure if Larry would want it either.)  And if all that fails, then you can find someone to trade/sell it to, since Overgrown pokemon are rather rare and desired by more than a few trainers out there.  That extra bulk and size can make a big difference.

Thanks for the advice! I'll ask her first, then see what else I can do with the Shellder (If anything, since Sochi might snap it up). And yes, he still is interested in dating Sochi. A gentleman never leaves a lady wanting, unless he has absolutely no other choice (See journey with the group).
