Well, she is the one he had most closely bonded to him, at this point. He also think her concern is sweet, and appreciates it as well. Might as well show it with head rubs, after all!

Alright, Alright! I guess I going after Exegcuttes for now, then go with the others to take down that Weezing. Is all the RV rules still in effect for this stretch, @ Iron?

Yes, but since there are fewer encounters, it'd probably be fair to let everyone pick their first choice before moving on to a second.
But if you're going to tackle Weezing as a team, for example, it would make sense for that to be one of the two encounters for this stretch (for everyone), and the other to be your Pokemon encounter of choice.

I've already decided to follow that approach. I'm taking on those bundle of eggs, before gathering the rest of the group for an assalt on the noxious beast. Hopefully all goes well...

Huh, so you didn't go rushing of to fight the Weezing mano la mano. Nice! I also like the idea of modding your Pokedex with a Light function, but you can save getting the car out of the mud after the gassball is dealt with. Iron's liable to get the Van stuck in the mud even more if we try to dislodge the van now...

Or you could just rely on Nathan's pokemon. A fire horse and a glowing starfish are both rather good sources of light :  Whatever floats your boat, though, I guess.
