And I don't blame him for that as a player, considering what we know of Ventus's history so far (little bits and pieces here and there that come together as a whole. I think I have a general but vague idea if what happened).

Nathan, on the other hand, hasn't really seen or heard a whole lot of that. He only really knows that Ventus seems to be afraid of the Deyo flowers and 'magic,' so far, and has no idea why (and it's only just now that Nathan is beginning to piece together that it's a fear of the unknown. Is he certain about that? No. But it seems like a decent hypothesis to him. Gotta remember that he missed Ventus's lecture on fairies). He intends to get an explanation out of Ventus ASAP when an opportunity arises, though. Which will likely be after reaching Ginger Town. Probably at the end of the day if all goes well.

Yeah right, it's only her who really 'knows' about his fear of Fairies and magical stuff/the unknown. Getting an explanation out of him... Hopefully this will clear the matters up.

That might be kinda hard since Larry is about to hit him over the head with a frying pan...and cause absolute chaos by trying to use four pokemon at the same time...and Minun doesn't have a condition on using Thunder Wave...

Yeah, Nathan's probably going to facepalm pretty badly when that all happens...negotiations don't work well if not everyone holds their fire.

Plus, Larry has to be on the other side of the Barrier to attack the old man directly...

Ventus was already outside when the Barrier went up, so Larry must have really moved to follow his order! What a responsive young buy!

As for holding fire, Ventus is doing it right now, but he would not be unhappy if things went tits up. Well, he would, but at least he would have an excuse to attack the mysterious wizard dude. Paralyze, Poison, Burn, Confuse, and Mash the witches (In no particular order)!
