seeing that Dragon Strike is on is gonna make me stoning ekans worse, and iron is there a place in ginger town with a black market network of some sorts that Larry can use to sell the ekans meat and skin?

You bet it's gonna get worse!  Explain some stuff for me, please:

1. Why would Larry do this, and would he actually be willing to do it from an in character standpoint?  I didn't get the impression that he would do this kind of thing from the roleplay done so far, and it's not like the Ekans is completely unsalvageable as it is currently.  Better roleplay with the ekans would fix the situation.  Not immediately, but it would certainly help.  Or you can trade it off to someone who's willing to attempt to train it despite its disobedience, or just release it.  Or something.  Alternative solutions abound.

2. Does Larry do it now?  If so, that means he ran off without another word and abandoned the quest with the combee hive, and has only Oshawott and Kakuna to try and fight off an angry ekans.

3. Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE you want to go through with this?  Killing a pokemon is serious business, as Nathan is emphasizing with Ventus right now.  And it's not easy either, as you have to KO them first.  They don't just lie down and die, they fight back.  Go through with it, and there WILL be consequences of some kind.  Whether its the local officer catching you selling off pokemon parts, the pokemon killing either you or your other pokemon (if not both), or your other pokemon losing trust and loyalty in their trainer from being ordered to take part in or witness a murder.

That type of attitude is...troubling, to say the least. If you want to kill something, take it out on Vesipqueen and her children, not your own Pokémon! Bloody hell mate, I know Larry is under a lot of pressure, but I don't think he's the kind of kid to commit murder because of it. Ventus has a unique view of the world, and has experience with Pokémon killing each, but I slowly built that up. Larry doesn't have that kind of backstory. At least I hope he doesn't.

Bloody hell mate, I know Larry is under a lot of pressure, but I don't think he's the kind of kid to commit murder because of it. Ventus has a unique view of the world, and has experience with Pokémon killing each, but I slowly built that up. Larry doesn't have that kind of backstory. At least I hope he doesn't.

well Larry already doesn't like killer pokemon (remember his father) and Larry sees ekans as his voltorb and doesn't want the same story as his father although Larry might decide to change his mind because of "political" problems it would cause but keep in mind Larry doesn't know whats best for the Ekans right now so someone following Larry and stopping him might keep him from killing ekans

EDIT: also I want to catch that Vesipqueen!

Well, Ventus might feel the need to follow Larry, since he has an awfully large propensity to get himself in trouble. Unfortunately, given how you worded your post, the best he could do is just watch you beat you Pokémon to death, and confront you about it. Or have to step in and save your butt if Iron has Ekans try to kill you and partially succeed. Regardless, you would have much bigger problems than killing your Ekans if my chara gets involved. MUCH bigger...

Oh well. I just want to move on to the next day. I might just visit the Festival another time while you people are busy, it would certainly be better than hanging around at the Pokemon Center waiting for you people to return.

I sense trouble incoming if he does. He cannot handle an Ekans well, so what does he think he wants to do with a Queen Bee?

Indeed (To both of your statements) ! Take the opportunity to enjoy yourself, my friend! The benefit of doing encounter on your own is that no one else by the GM will hold you up, and post usually come faster when he rolls for one person! Hope you enjoy your time there~ Oh, and try to do all the money making games, if you can. You might get a Carny Coin that way, or so I heard.

Yeah, what Windos said.  Though I'll add on that even killing the combee could have consequences (like what Nathan has been saying so far), and killing the queen would DEFINITELY have consequences.  Remember, Zamboni said 'negotiations first.'

Killing stuff is something that is not to be taken lightly.  If you want to kill something, you better have a dang good reason for it besides 'I did it because I could/felt like it.'  Tabletop RP isn't as friendly as the pokemon games usually are, but it's not like those videogames where you kill enemies left and right without a second thought for anything, even your own safety, either.

Also, I'd like to point out that even catching the queen will cause some serious problems.  And even if you DO manage to somehow do it, the species has a disobedience score of FOUR, and we're in the middle of a hive full of angry bees trying to defend their queen from a potential killer.  If the Vespiqueen is captured, that amounts to the equivalent of a royal kidnapping.  You'd be better off snagging a female combee and raising it, though you'd likely only find those close to the queen, and it could cause equally as many problems since female combee are so rare.
