Hmm? 'This little Eevee you are petting right now'...? Oh! Shiva did absolutely not notice that mentioned Eevee has approached closer and that she has reached down to carefully stroke its head. Must be a habit she brought with her from home... But seeing that the small Pokemon was sorta enjoying the affection, it was quite heartwarming! Especially since it was literally avoiding her before... But Shiva was giving the Eevee the space it wished, and now it came to her on its own. That's the way it works~

"Oh, eh, right... Maybe there's the possibility to lend a well-mannered Growlithe from the Cops for a while." ... Winston... Please stop being worried for Vincent, he's fine...

To Shiva, the voice Wir had was...precious... A clear tone that would make the even a huge tempered Pokemon obey without the slightest violence involved. Yet, it had a soothing dwell. 'Their respect'... Was it this was she was looking for? A hidden wish that people remember her, that they would speak of her in positve ways? Mentioning that Pokemon brought to her were taken care of in an excellent and pleasant way and would definitely recommend her...?

It was even more hearwarming to see that the Eevee was following Shiva, as she was out in the pasture, cleaning it from anything that doesn't belong there. Soon, she paid the small Evolution-Pokemon more attention than the pasture itself... Although it showed little interest in the Minccino's Tail she already used to lure her Electric rodents - maybe this Eevee wasn't the playful type - she enjoyed its presence and time together. Even if it may be temporarly, given that this Eevee wasn't her own and she'll be moving on after her three-days-stint has passend; if she suceeds to make the Pokemon fell delighted and happy, it was absolutely worth it.

"My, Eevee... If you continue feeding on flowers, you'll randomly evolve into a Leafeon in the end..."

This was practically all Shiva felt at the sign of the local Sawsbuck. She has already seen some of these stags in the wild once or twice, but always from a far distance and never for more than a few moments. Though, she read about those. A lot. The idea of a majestic Pokemon changing with the seasons, displaying the stasis and flow of time in the same breath...

She enjoyed this with all her Pokemon held close to her. There was something special here... Was it a feeling that these three Pokemon were her own ? That they saw her as their owner, Master and caretaker? Probably. Does such a feeling belong to a Trainer's life as well? Maybe...

She literally just bathend in all this atmosphere, in all the emotions dwelling here, blocking out everything else, and barely realised that she has laid her hand in Ventus' at some point.

Before Ventus turns to leave, Nathan voices his own plans. "I intend to go check out the festival, myself. This is my first chance to do so, and I wouldn't want to miss out, right? Besides, I still need to see if I can get a CarnyCoin. And I need to spend some time with Staryu and Swiftfire...particularly Staryu...well, I'll meet ya guys at the pokemon center later if we don't see each other during the festivities, today." He parts ways with Ventus and Shiva for now, and heads off to finally join in on the festival and ease the pains he's been feeling lately, starting with the 4 tests of skill and collecting the Sawsbuck Token.

He finally lets Swiftfire and Staryu out of their pokeballs as well, and he apologizes to them for not being able to show them the Sawsbuck event, and additionally to Staryu for mostly ignoring it. "Swiffire, I'll make sure you get to run around a bit later. This isn't exactly a good place to do that, after all. Maybe a double battle, or something...you need some experience too, Staryu. It's not fair of me to keep you in your pokeball all the time either, so I'll try and make it up to you today. We'll do some training or something later, maybe. For now though, let's all enjoy the festival!"

Larry was walking around the festival with nicada in his arms and ekans on his shoulder until he saw the couple that owned the RV had keychains "hey how about a keychain nicada and ekans?" Larry said as he walked up "hi Mr Tramp and Mrs Belle" Larry said in a nice tone "how much for 2 keychains?" Larry asked

Valder finds some tasty cheese and hypo-allergenic sweets.

Back at the Daycare, Shiva discusses the idea of borrowing a Growlithe from a cop. "Hm," says Golda. "That reminds me of something...but what? Maybe it will come to me later. Meanwhile, we'll ask Officer Jenny tonight when she starts her shift. I think she has both a Growlithe and a Spinarak."

 Valder asks the seller if they have any pokemon-friendly, non-dairy cheese.

For those wondering, Theo is intolerant, but he looooves cheese!

...? Almost immediatly her spirits are awake, even a little alarmed. For a good reason. "If you do remember, please tell me!"

Spinarak... What do we need a Spinarak here?

Shiva hesitated a little before she brought up the following thing - but it was something that was important for her to know, in this job and for the future. She faced Golda in a rather curious way. "Uhm... I've been wondering, what chores come actually up to a Daycare during the whole day? Apart from the usual stuff maybe, like keeping the area clean and providing food and adapted care to the variety of Pokemon entrusted."

"Every day, we check for eggs, check for health issues, put out the food, play with the Pokemon, clean up, look for predator tracks, check the fences for holes, clean any algae off the pond, make sure the aerator is working...oh, there's a million things to do around here. Some trainers even pay us extra to take care of the eggs until they hatch."

I mentioned the Spinarak thing because if you borrowed the Growlithe, the cop would still have a partner.



Valder hands over his Sawsbuck token, and the Shellder gamemaster punches off $200 of it.

"Keep track of the pearl. Watch the pearl. Keep your eeeeeye on the pearrrrl..." *shuffle shuffle shuffle*

Valder's Insight: 1 dice, not his strong suit.

The vendor taps a different Shellder, who sticks out his tongue to reveal the pearl. "It was here all along! Want to try again?"

It took Ventus awhile to track down the gardener, given the massive crowd and how big the festival is, but eventually he found him hanging by stand full of flowers. 'Now, why did I not foresee this? Oh well, at least I had the chance to see the sights with my friend,' he thought, looking over and smiling at Shiva. They passed by many food stalls, taking as many free samples they could get away with, and looked at some of the more eye catching attraction.

Throughout the time, between the good food and cheer, he stopped by the stalls that were selling training items and snatched up 3 Potions, 1 Burn Heal, 1 Paralysis Heal, 1 Antidote, and 1 Charge of Pepper Spray ( $1200 * .2 = 240 ; 1200 - 240 = 960 : Total Cost of Purchase(s) ) . "Well, that should do for my purchases, but if you are able to afford it, you should restock as well. While I don't believe we will get run out of town, it always pays to be prepare!" he said to Shiva, tucking away the last of the medicine into his satchel. If there has been any purchase he cherished most, it would be it rest at his side. 'It can hold so much and so many useful things! '

After his shopping spree was completed, he wandered over to the trainer challenge board that Shiva mentioned to him earlier. By the looks of the trainers strewn throughout the area, its a brisk time indeed. Walking over to it, he decided to look for any challenges cheap challenges ($200 Prize Money or Less) that his Shroomish could spar against. 'I haven't had the chance to familiarize myself with his battle style, so why not take the opportunity to do so now?' he though, smiling at Michael, who was still perched on his shoulder. The fungus has a good grip, that is for sure! Raphael was napping in his arms, tired out by the sweet treat and the energy of the crowd. Apsis, on the other hand, was returned to her Pokeball upon leaving the Sawsbuck Form Change Event, as he didn't want her to attract any unwanted aggression.
