Oh, so it's just a friendly Rival Battle there, isn't it? Neat... I was afraid they're really fighting and arguing over something.

Bookkeeping, now Nathan has two Combee. And a Porygon. And you may have wanted to hold the black-spotted egg additionally? Haha... NO. He has more than enough to do with his own, now six(!) Pokemon, and Shiva would be foolish to give it away. It wouldn't match her character at all.

Iron, will switch to Day 6 now, finally. First thing is bringing back the Miltank + picking up my charm from Belle, then head off to the Daycare.

Congratulations, @PhantomUnderYourDesk, Shiva scared him off. While he didn't voice it, he wasn't intending to keep the egg for himself, just wanted to speed up the hatching process. Shiva's angry response kept him from elaborating on the matter. He's had enough conflict with Ventus, and he doesn't want to make an enemy of Shiva too. That response sent all negotiations out the window immediately. Well done, you get to keep the egg for now.

Now, I wonder what Shiva will think about him leaving so quickly, and taking a cookie on his way out?

(Note: He also had 4 pokemon at the time of that conversation. Still quite a few, but still enough room for the egg if he'd gotten it. He wasn't planning on getting two more the next day, after all!)

If her reaction was needed to keep hold on the egg, she's fine with it, but she's definitely not up for any arguments/fights here, and will most likely interact normally with him starting the next day. What Nathan does furthermore, is up to you, but she'll rather quickly notice if he tries to avoid her.

Anyways, from the way I started things off for the day, Shiva would have found him in the lobby, waiting to see what everyone else was up to for the day before heading out himself.  His interaction with Shiva was...normal.  Not really anything else.  He doesn't want to bring up the topic again.  He's still unsure of what he should be doing about the situation by that point, so he's simply trying to keep up a facade of normalcy so as not to alarm anyone else in the party.  Though Shiva might recognize it as a little TOO normal if she thinks about it...
