I suggest keeping it until it evolves into a Kadabra, then trade it. You'll get much more for an Alakazam than an Abra! Or you can use meta knowledge in the game thread to find the guy that wants and abra, and trade it to him for another Carny Coin. Your call in the end, ultimately!

Hmm... You're probably right, although I feel a little relucant evolving it. Just a quick check-in on the Festival's trading post before heading to the Daycare won't hurt, though.

Wonder how Ventus would react if he gets to know that she has a free CarnyCoin to give away... Before she'd give it to Larry (who showed interest in facing the Gym Leader), she'd rather keep it for collective reasons. Or she'd trade it for even more Pokeballs... Or a blasted Superball...

Highly doubtful. I've been thinking for her to maybe try on one or two Gyms, just for the fun and experience, but after seeing what has happened to Plusle... Yes Iron, that 5 you rolled there had quite an impact!

He probably would congratulate her, before asking what she wanted to do with it. He's not going to outright beg for it; he's not the type to do that sort of thing, which isn't strange given his background (He values self-sufficieny quite highly for himself!). Though, if you find any good offers at the board, go for it!

If she told him she was giving it to Larry, he would probably raise an eyebrow in skeptics, and point out his overall battle performance as a not so subtle way of telling her that would be bad. He'd also point out half his team is very weak to Ice type, with one of them suffering 4x to them!

Since Shiva in person is too busy with the Daycare to watch the battle as she actually wished, at least her rodents might especially enjoy it.

Well, now that's just making me a little sad Ah well. At least it's important business! Not that the rest of us know that in character...

lol every morning when I get on im the only one here

there are long and lonely days here in the forums. in the distance across the cotton field I see iron asleep in his house way far yonder to the east of there in the desert I see Windos and Phantom cuddling with TONS AND TONS OF COOKIES, and on an island to the west I find DragonStrike sleeping with a coconut in his hand (while getting a major tan) and way way way across the river to the north I find Nylon all asleep in a hammock swinging between to Oak trees, (...)

 That's nearly correct, but I think it would be birch trees and not oak...

 Either way, I haven't been on for a while due to a small school trip that took the whole day, it came a bit surprisingly. So... sorry.

 As you see, Valder isn't doing much, but I'd like to say that that's in his personality. Valder feels uneasy whith a lot of people around him and prefers to stay quiet. Well, at least he wouldn't talk all day.

 But even before the school trip I wasn't that active, true. I was on the forums, but I didn't really know what to "say" in this thread. But know that I am here if you need something.

That's totally fine.  

Yeah, Valder doesn't seem like much of a party guy, to be honest.  I wouldn't be surprised if he kept to himself for most of the festival.  We should be moving on to route 02 soon, though!  Or elsewhere, I guess.  But since Larry has a ('talking') Zorua in Corsage that he has to pick up, we'll likely continue heading east, towards the port town.


Really, all we do for the most part in this thread is discuss what's going on in the game thread and IRL.  Keeps our player knowledge straight and mostly separated from the character knowledge, as well as keeping it all from cluttering the game thread.  If you've got something to say pertaining to anything that shouldn't be in the game thread, say it here!
