I agree that they are.  Though this poses an interesting quandary for Nathan since I want an absol...well, he'll probably tag along with Ventus and anyone else who is interested anyways when the Running happens.  He might not be very interested in participating himself, but he'll definitely want to make sure anyone who does has some backup.

The Running is not usually part of the festival, to be clear. But it is in late spring normally. (In other words, it happens at a plot-appropriate moment)

oh The Running sounds like some one would die to a killer! (or at least that's what my mind thinks due to the fact Tennessee doesn't do any runnings of the what ever livestock Tennessee has)

Also, do not forget to add cheering from Plusle and Minun to Ralts! They're with Ventus right now, who watches the battle as far as I know.

An NPC explained at the start of the festival that it's an event where wild pokemon charge straight through the main road of Ginger Town!  Some trainers like to run with the pokemon, maybe even try and bag a rare one.  It's incredibly dangerous.  There's probably been an incident or two where someone has or nearly died in the past due to their recklessness.  Nathan knows aaaaalllll about this event.  Never did get the point of it, to be honest, so he's not super interested in participating himself.
