Especially when said temper could possibly jeopardize the health of my Ekans. They are cold blooded creatures, so sending it into an ice bath could have very well sent it into shock and killed it, if she had not gotten used to the environment by now. Do keep that in mind when you are fighting similar creatures in the future," he said, his serene attitude replaced with a frigidness that perfectly match the gym he is in.

Quickly turning his attention away from the callous trainer, he called out to Apsis : "[b]Get out of that water as fast as possible, then focus on chewing through that seal's blubber. I do believe I just had about enough of his company for one day."

Order: Spend an action getting out of the water, then focus on single Bite attacks (non-consecutive) for now on. Have Apsis move away from any area close to water, so that doesn't happen again. Healing at -2 or -3 Pain Penalization still applies.

Staring at him with such a force that it could almost be mistaken as a Glare, Ventus very very calmly stated. " If that is how you feel, then I do believe I might have a word with Zamboni about your behavior. I find it very strange that of someone of your caliber behaves so immaturely, so I do believe I have cause for concern for how you treat challengers." A polite, if thinly vield, threat was leveled at the trainer, all but guaranteeing that, regardless of the battle's outcome, he's not going to be winning anything.

'May Kyrum pay him a visit one day,' the researcher darkly though, completely disgusted with his brazen actions.

Walking over to Apsis, he patted her head, pleased she did well despite being dunked into ice cold water. "You did an excellent job, my sister. Now, let's go over to Zamboni for a towel to dry you off, and to...discuss the actions of his trainer. After that, we'll go outside this gym and restock on some Potion while warming you up. Does that sound good?" Ventus said comfortly, checking his Ekan's body temperature by hand now. While it didn't appear that the cold did any damage, a sudden plunge in its own temperature could cause grave problem of its own.

Eager to both get dry and out of this gym for awhile, Apsis bobs her head at him. While getting used to the cold, getting submerged in icy water crosses her personal comfort zone! With both of them in agreement (Ventus had already returned Raphael and Michael to there Pokeballs by now), Ventus walked over to Zamboni, quite eager to tell him the conduct of River Rat. He was not joking when he said he would have talk with him....

Meeting up with him, he asked for a towel, before politely informing him of his battle with Rat. He spared no detail describing it, making it clear that the acolyte acted in a reckless and unecessaryliy harmful way during his fight.

Order: Get towel to dry off Apsis, inform Zamboni about River Arse, then go off into town to buy 3 Potion to restock up (200 * .2 = 40; 200 - 40 = 160; 160 * 3 = 480 Pokedollars in total costs). After shopping is done, he'll return to the gym to have a one on one training session with Apsis. Depending on how that goes, I'll decide what I want to do from there.

Mock Fighting. Ventus is going to lay out a battle scenario for Apsis, then have her execute his commands in sequence, in order to get her used to making Consecutive Actions in battle. If required, he has a Magikarp Toy that can be used as the targeting dummy. Basically, Venuts want to exercise Apsis brain and ingrain some more battle techniques into her.
