No changes in the current encounters, except that Jeff is out of Pokemon.

Then Ventus will attempt to catch one last fish, this time using one of his Poffins dipped in honey as bait. Might as well try and see if I catch something that is valuble and doesn't try to murder my Pokémon!

.... Oh. Shiva at first did not notice there was a POKEMON in that hat... And what an adorable one! However... it looked rather down. It looked so wrong on the small blue mouse... the small partly Fairy Type... At this thougth, Shiva mood immediatly went up. That is, even more than it already was currently. She was not asking for it, but Ventus already gave the whole thing to her, assuming she was the right person in this case... what a gentleman!

"Oh... Floating down the river... Eh... Who would abandon such a cutie? " Insert a whiff of wrath here, a strong feeling of vengefulness over whoever put the Azurill into such a state... But only for a moment - she immediately caught herself again. Not to scare anyone away, least of all mentioned blue mouse. After all, Fairies are...sensitive to strong emotions. Even if she cannot know how developed this trait is in this particular Azurill, but there is no need to find out in the hard way.

Before she could react even more, the Azurill already decided... Hehe, was this a sign of liking? Maybe... if, that was a good sign, after all! Guess this seals it then...

Turning her attention to Ventus, she only gave him an adorable and overly thankful smile. No words here, apart from "Glad that you people saved it. I'll...surely take good care of it, and make it smile again!". Sure he understands anyway. Random gifts are even sweeter.

Oh... eh... Weird situation here. "So... Thanks again! Azurill evolve with Happiness... If it's alright, I'll take lil' one with me then, going to teach a new move to Cottonee. And maybe work on my Abra's Psychic Powers." ... "I'll meet up with you people after that then. Alright?"

Shaking his head, Ventus decided to clear up some things with her before she got too anger over nothing. "From what I can detect, this little Azurill was not abandoned, but rather has gotten separated from their trainer for some unknown reason. All I can tell its depressed about being itself, and that it wants to accomplish something with that top hat of theirs," the researcher said, before rubbing the back of his head and sighing. He heard her thanks, and it was hard not to see her beaming with joy at the adorable furball, but he still felt bad for foisting it off to her without warning

"...I'm sorry for thrusting this responsibility on to you, Shiva, but I don't think I'm the most suited for this guys problems. Besides Raphael, Ralts, and Cottenee, I'm not the best with Fairy types. Nathan has a full party, Valder has his own priorities with catching Pokémon, and Larry is....Larry. I know you adored them, so I assumed that you would be happy to lift this burden from my hands. So  Thank you  for helping me and this little mouse, Shiva. You'll certainly be able to cheer this little one up!"

When she told him her plans to train Abra's Psychic powers and Cottenee's, however, Ventus couldn't help perking up at the opportunity to help. "If you would like, I could come with you and assist in your training. I have a cornucopia of knowledge about the different types, species, and sub-species of Pokémon, and experience with handling and caring for them all!"

(If Shiva accepts his offer, he's going to abandon fishing for awhile. Helping his friends has a higher priority in his heart!)

"Huh...so Azurill wants to get stronger to meet some kind of goal then?  Yeah, alright.  Treat the little fellow really well, Shiva.  That's going to be a tall order.  Now, if you guys don't mind, I'm going to scout ahead and find a spot down the road where we can camp.  Not going to make much progress down the route if we aren't moving, after all. I'll text you guys the location."

Nathan finds a good spot for their tent, and texts everyone general directions.  While he waits for them to show up, he does a few things.

- He lets Swiftfire out so she can exercise.  She's practicing her Flame Charge for fun!  Porygon and Staryu are also practicing their STAB moves.

- He asks the combee to gather some honey.  Or rather, tells them they can enjoy the honey they find as a thank you reward for their help with Azurill.  Staryu gets some from Nathan as well as thanks for the help earlier.

- And finally, he sits down to talk with Ralts.  If something's wrong, he wants to know what it is.

Ralts refuses to talk until Shiva catches up to the camp. When she is near enough, he gives a little sigh of happiness and runs up and hugs Nathan! His little crest shifts back and he looks at you with big dewy eyes and a smile. He trips a bit, stumbles, and is limned in pinkish light. Could it be? Ralts is evolving! Press B on the Pokedex to cancel.

Shiva gets a call from the Daycare Couple! "It's a boy!" is all Golda says. She seems extremely pleased. She hangs up right away, but you're pretty sure you know what that means - one of the projects has been born!

Nathan's eyes go wide when Ralts begins glowing in evolutionary light! Is this what had been on his mind earlier?

Actually, thinking about it, he'd DANCED out of the way of that Tailow's attack. It wasn't just a simple dodge, and then he'd promptly obliterated the bird in what had seemed like pure joy...

"Well, if it's time for this, little buddy, then don't let me stop you!"

Fishing: (6)(6)(6) Oo, look at that. Whatever it is on the other end of the hook, it's extremely heavy! Ventus has to enlist the help of his Pokemon to reel it in.

It's a Corsola! And it's holding another Hard Stone, this one glittery and shiny.

Ventus' initiative: (4) + 5 = 9

Ah... Not abandoned... That makes things way easier, in fact... No need for any rage, that vengefullness was wasted energy... It's fine. 'Seperated from 
their Trainer' though... Does this mean she'll have to return the blue mouse then...? ... ... Eh, that's written in the future fot now. Not worry about this just now.

Hearing Ventus aplogizing to her only made her chuckle. "It's alright, really! In fact, I know you're not that fond of Fairies, after all. Even if this lil' one" - at that point, Shiva gently stroke over the Azurill's right ear - "is no harm at all." At leadt, not yet? Better not speak that out aloud. "Also, I'd gladly take on the process to evolve it and see it cheerfully." Indeed. Happiness Evolution. Another speciality in Pokemon Raising.
Hearing his offer of joining her on Training Session cane out of the blue, practically speaking... But nevertheless it was a kind offer. And...why should he not, actually... Sensing the opportunity to talk with him directly without distractions. Like, he mentioned he's from the same region Shiva is... Wonder where exactly he originates from, and , naybe mote important, where he went to college.

Considering for a moment, still the top hat with Azurill in her Arms, Flechling flattering in the air and Minun looking up from below to her caretaker and that new addition, hefore replying to him in a appreciating soft tone. "... Sure you can come. Let's go find a suitable place for training then, alright?" Given the aim is teaching a Grass move and getting a 'mon to show its Psychic Powers, a calmer place a little aside would be neat... Surely would also help the Azurill to cool down a little from all the action and new faces it encountered just lately.

The light subsides, and there stands a Kirlia. He twirls gracefully and gives Nathan another hug. Then, to your surprise, he Teleports to the cliff across the Great River, to a little nook in the rock. There he bows his head, and psychic light shimmers around him. You can catch little glimpses of characters made of pure pink light, moving and twirling and dancing in metaphoric prophecy. They're far away, so you can't see exactly what's happening, but you do see the little Ralts character dodging around Ventus, and you see Nathan and Shiva near each other at times in the psychic dance. And towards the end, you see a falling ball of light, and later still...a great lord on his throne of skulls.

When the vision has faded, Kirlia returns to Nathan's side, and refuses to "discuss" what he saw.
