Seeing that Sage was...somewhat annoyed by them following, Shiva turned to Ven beside her. Luckily, Apsis was on the other side of him. It's interesting that by now, she felt a little more at ease around the huge snake... Normally, she would be afraid and uneasy around such a Pokemon. But seeing that Ven somewhat has the control over Apsis eased her. She trusted in him and his skills... Better not think about Larry and his Ekans right now... Now is not the time to worry about that fact.

She lowered the pace a little, her Electric rodents - still holding hands with one another - close to her. In a calm voice, she expressed what she got from that situation. "Eh... Ven... Maybe we should not interfere too much if he does not want us around." before glancing at him in a somewhat confused and unsure manner.

That does not prevent her from being careful though... But... she began to feel unsure whether what they were doing right now was the right thing. She does not enjoy interfering in other people's business too much...especially if they don't seem to enjoy that either.

Clearly detecting the mysterious man's disappointment, and an utter commitment to do...something, Ventus stopped in his tracks, suddenly confused by this change. The surge of loyalty that came soon after caused him to raise his eyebrows as well. 'His emotional response...its not what I was expecting when I came to confront him about his activities. Whatever he's currently engaged in, it does not seem to be of a devious nature now,' the researcher thought, extending his arm out to stop Shiva from going any further.

When he heard Shiva's suggestion, he nodded at her, before making a hushing motion with one of his fingers. 'Something was amiss, and going in blind is something unwise to do, especially with an unknown variable' the researcher thought, facing Sage and observing his actions from then on. Rushing into a situation unaware of all the details was, on reflection, a poor idea. He'll wait and see what they are up to, before they if its necessary to interfere. Still, he motions towards Apsis, signaling to her that if he tries to attack them to show no mercy. Apsis, who had stopped to guard her master, nodded in understanding. She won't let her master come to harm while she's around!

Order: Stopping a little bit away from Sage's character and the man Ven has no knowledge about, and observing exactly what the formerly ill man does. Ventus may be curious and suspicions, but if something is off about his initial judgement, he's not going to proceed until he knows more. If Sage's chara tries to attack Ventus, though, Apsis is going to use Glare on them. Ven is still quite paranoid, after all.

Oh... He already answered what Shiva was just thinking. That ceasing pursuit and observing what that young boy was up to were the better choice right now. Glad the he aggrees with her now... But...she couldn't help that fright began to emerge in her.

She picked up both of her Electric rodents and sticked close to Ventus. It was the best choice right now in this weird and suspicious situation... But... Let's hope that guy knew what he was doing.

Mechanics:
Stay close to Ventus. Whatever happens, stay close to him. I have Plusle/Minun ready for battle to defend ourselves from any harm that may arise.

Sage does have the lead, so he reaches the stranger before Ventus catches up (whether or not Ventus chooses to do so after Shiva's concerns).

As Ventus is pondering what to do, Sage sends out the injured Poliwhirl, immediately spraying it with a Potion, I might assume?

The huge frog lets its belly slam right into the guy, who is wearing a cloak or robe in earthtones. This is when Ventus notices the new stranger for the first time, so focused was he on Sage.

Poliwhirl now has 5/7 hp after the potion, so that's only a -1 pain penalty.

The stranger does go flying into the pond, however. He comes up spluttering, and fumbling for his Pokeball underwater! Empty Potion bottles also come floating up around him like so much litter.

Upon seeing the giant Poliwhirl pop out and slam someone -they was someone else suspicious around here?!- Ventus almost startled into action, before he picked up the drowning man's emotions. 'Vile, bitter, negative...this person is clearly up to no go around here. So this is the target that the mysterious man was focusing on. I can't very well let them drown, but I won't let them do anything that could harm us,' Ventus thought, before barking out a order to his Arbok.

"Apsis, go out into the water and restrain that individual, then bring them ashore. The feeling I get from this individual is most unbecoming, but I need to speak with them first before I decide upon further action."

Order: Have Apsis swim out and use Wrap on the Drowning man, binding him so that he can't summon Pokémon, then bring him in front of the group. If drowning man gets out of Wrapp, Apsis will use then Wrap again on them, before bringing them to her master. Pragmatic, remember?

What... He was pursuiting someone? Oh hell... should have noticed that something was up... Should have known that the Wizard they drove off at Route 1 might come back or send acolytes... That meant NOTHING good.

But... he was in the pond. All soaked because of that. That's...the chance. Cripple him before anymore trouble arouses. Before he can do anything... Before he can threathen anyone of them and disturb the Healer's residence. Especially the last thing filled Shiva with annoyance... While she was still filled with fright over all this. But...Ventus was close to her... Please don't go away now, okay?

She looked down on Minun and freed the negatively charged rodent from her arms - Plusle shall stay close to her. Minun jumped right to the ground and awaited orders... It's adorable to see how the rodents was way more brave than her caretaker.

"Minun... Can you use Thunder Wave from here on that person in the pond? On HIM, not on the Arbok. We don't know what he's up to, but I don't feel much inclinged to find out." Right... Better cripple him before things get ugly. Sorry for the interference... But this was in her view the best choice in this situation. Immobilise a possible threat before it can attack, ask questions later.

"Plusle... You stay close to me." Which means, in her arms. At this words, the rodent looked up to his Master who returned the gaze. Master seems to be scared... "But... if anyone but Ventus comes close to us... Hit 'em with Swift. Alright?"


Accuracy Roll Thunder Wave: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 2 Channel = 5 D6dice
Effect: Paralyses the opponent.
Secondary Effect: I don't know how Sage will react to this... Or Ventus... But Shiva acted driven by intuition.
Additional notes: That Wizard(?) is all soaked. And I'm ejecting a jolt of electricity on him. No more words needed...

Possible Accruracy Roll Swift: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 2 Channel = 5 D6dice
Possible Damage Roll Swift: 1 Strenght + 2 Power of move = 3 D6dice
Additional Notes: Swift hits even if Accuracy Roll fails. Not sure if Plus-Minus-Ability is triggered here... But if, the Damage Roll cosists of 5 dice instead of 3.

Larry after a while on his pokedex (texting modding and other stuff) Larry soon read a text from Rachel asking if Larry wanted to join her to greet some friends coming from Tenno and Hoenn "hmm there's Caleb, Ben, Ashley, Carrie, Skye, and oh Frank" Larry said as he sighed like a girl mad at her dad for not letting her date some guy "Frank is the worse that guy wants me out of the spotlight all the time" Larry said as he thought "maybe staying with these weirdos is better than Frank and other people, I mean Shiva doesn't care about if I leave, Nathan would be about the same as Shiva, that guy over there wouldn't care, Vlader probably would do the same, but Vetus might prefer if I left to go with anyone but him. Huh I thought wrong these guys would be worse then Frank as its only one guy who doesn't like me instead of five" soon Larry was faced with the choice of leaving or staying

As the man goes under the water, before Apsis can cross the distance to him, the surface is broken by a flying Pokemon! A great multihorned stag beetle comes rising from the depths like a helicopter cresting the horizon. He shakes the water from his wings; his eyes glare a solid orange. He does not look happy with you for assaulting his master.

Totally different Mega-Pinsir Round 01

Apsis' target is the trainer himself, but Mega Pinsir dives into the water at 30mph to take the blow.

Apsis awaits orders for whether to release Pinsir and strive for Pinsir's trainer, or to adapt to the new circumstances and bring Pinsir to Ventus. It doesn't look like Pinsir will just permit this, of course.

Pinsir brawls with Apsis, getting one horn through a coil and Binding Apsis in turn.

You can hear the underwater guy surface and give a bubbling command, but you can't make out the words. It seems Pinsir understands its trainer, however.
