Trouble already began when Sage pushed a random guy into a pond on nothing but a hunch.

Doesn't matter that he was the guy the authorities were looking for. Someone's getting in trouble for the unprovoked attack.

You guys REALLY got yourself into a sticky situation.  Lumin's not wrong about the unprovoked attack thing.  Nathan's going to probably lose it when he hears the full story.

There's a chance you might be able to avoid a little of the trouble if you show the Pinsirite and Kirlia affirms that it is the same Pinsir that Nathan fought, but it's likely that it's the medicine man who did that first anonymous call.

Ventus doesn't trust the Officer, given what he has heard from him, and he's not responsible for Sage's action at the moment, so he's not going to force him to do anything he does not want to do. If the ask for the Pinsirite, he'll point at Sage of course, but he's not going to give him away until it becomes impossible to cover for him.

That, and Ventus has his own experience to call upon in such a situation. He did claim that he had many resources at his disposal...

Another good point. Let Sage tell his points by himself. Shiva won't say a thing unless being directly asked a question and if, she'll likely turn to Ven since he has experience.

Weird or not, everything is stacked against you for the most part.  Mostly because of how Sage started this.

The book, robes, statue, underwater door, rare mega pokemon, huge amount of resources...seems we're dealing with Scimitars again.  Though it's only a conclusion Nathan will reach if Shiva tells him about the book.  Which she might not...

Ventus has not put two and two together yet, but he knows that either the Local RU is corrupt in some way, or that whoever is leveling such charges at him must have quite the pull and a big grudge to bear. If Shiva brings up her thoughts on the matter, though, he'll quickly cotton on to their presence, and react appropriately. Of course, he'll have to endure Nathan's scrutiny, but hopefully his claims and his future reveal will calm them down...

He can either argue his case in court and win, or end up having to pay the fine, which should be relatively easy if either his friends chip in with the cost (Which they should, since they were involved in this debacle as he is), or just earn it by battling trainers and selling items he finds. Simple really, unless Iron makes it more complicated than necessary.

Windos, don't count on me TOO MUCH on helping you out with money this time. I don't have that much anyway, and what I have I wish to save if for a Breeder's Lisence. But... since we were involved in this as well... Some amount will go to you for the sake of paying the penalization, if you ask Shiva directly about it.
