Wow. Is this actual campaign canon?

I went to Iron with this part of my backstory before I even started getting the finer details of it. I didn't want to cross any lines and upset his overall plans for the campaign with this inclusion, but he said that it was a-ok. and that I could implement it in my overall background. I'm fairly certain that he won't have complaints, and if he does I can always use the magic power of editing my posts!

One thing is for sure now: Ventus is not going to do reckless shit anymore until he either free Genesect (If its captured), or finds out its current status (if its not). There is too much at stake for him to be too murderous unless he retrieves them. While Iron oked the backstory, I don't know what he'll do with the Bug Legendary honestly. If Ventus somehow gets the Legend on his team, instead of it just departing to a secluded location once contact had been established, he's going to be quite confused!

I don't think Nathan would be surprised at all if that happened if Ventus was really as close to Genesect as he says he was   Bonds like that are powerful things.  In fact, Nathan's respect for Ventus just shot up a TON.  You don't just manage to befriend a legendary and call it a day, particularly when it's a Mythical one.

I don't think Nathan would be surprised at all if that happened if Ventus was really as close to Genesect as he says he was   Bonds like that are powerful things.  In fact, Nathan's respect for Ventus just shot up a TON.  You don't just manage to befriend a legendary and call it a day, particularly when it's a Mythical one.

Well, when you its your job to be as close and friendly to a dangerous Pokémon as possible, you better damn preform well, or end up dead and/or dying! He had over the course of a year to really get to know it, and the reverse is true. Both Genesect and Ventus are weirdly similar, if you examine the broader details. Beings that are capable of preforming extreme acts of brutality, but would rather not do such things unless it has to? If I can say one thing, the Unovian League did its job TOO well in picking a person to manage the Legendary...

I think that is the best call for now as well. I need to get some sleep myself, and I am very interested in what Phantom, Nylon, and Iron have to say about what came to be!

Oh, are you asking for my thoughts on this? Hmm... Let's see..
... I really enjoy the story. The fact that Ven was choosen to take part in the project because of his knowledge and empathy give it a natural feeling instead of being a plot-thing, and you did good to describe its agressive behaviour at first. Only a natural reaction when being captured by humans. The part reaching through it by a simple hug and becoming a close friend of it before the other the CO decided that's not actually what they wanted quite much reminds me on Lucille and Urayne.

In-game, you gave Shiva quite a thing to mull over. She never believed that the Lore of Mythological Pokemon can become so true - that gave her own interest in those a nice boost. Shaymin...

OhWhat a weird thought. It was already dark outside, and she'll be spending a while in the same room like he does. If it gets very late, sleep over in his room. But she was indeed curious about what powers mythological Genesect does have... If one looked and listened very closely, there was a hint of embarrasment in the words she spoke out. Followed by a very very faint blush... Stop that!

Phantom, remember, Ventus is not only an empath, but highly perceptive of the reactions/needs of others. If she react in such a manner, its like a siren going off in his face. One that he's confused by, but very noticeable none of the less!

When Ventus told his story, Valder... didn't quite follow. Valder's good at hearing, but not as great at listening. What Valder caught up from the story was that 1) Ventus was/is a researcher. 2) He got to acquaint himself with somethingSect. 3) he got fired and is trying to find the mythical pokemon that he met.

 "Right. Cool" Valder said trying to hide his lack of attention.

 This is nothing personal, Windos.   it's just little Valder trying to be a good person.
