I'm thinking Nathan might go after Riff and Raff. Theoretical training only gets you so far, after all! And a moderate challenge should be mostly doable for him as he is currently.

If that is the case, I'll have my chara go after the Bold Spearow. I'm curious to see what is so special about it. While I like Comite, I don't need another rock type on my team, nor something else weak to Ground types! If its possible, I'd send out Lucifer to grab that valuble item at the same time, but if not, I'll use it against Spearow itself.

Well, its something, so glad I asked first! I think I'll have Corsola battle the bold sparrow, as I want her to have at least one battle where she can have a likely chance to win (Without being plounderized), and have Lucifer go of to see what he can find. After he Frisks the Sparrow for what it has first, though!

As you walk through the forest, a pile of leaves shakes and a Rattata pops out. Geodude immediately moves to intercept, and the two get into a little scuffle.

A few miles down the road, and the two have become fast friends. Rattata is following your group as well, eating all the discarded food items. His favorite is to crawl inside a mostly empty can or bag of dry food and lick off all the remainder.

Another unlikely friendship is growing: Apsis and the giant lazy Poliwhirl. Whenever you stop for a break and let the Pokemon out, these two Pokemon hang out. Poliwhirl shows no fear of the big snake at all.

Well, that's two somethings I was not expecting to see happen.

Me neither, but Ventus is not going to stop such a momentous friendship from forming! If it helps soften up Apsis foul attitude towards others lesser than herself, than I am all for it!

Apsis gains 1 point of loyalty, realizing that if she'd eaten Poliwhirl like SHE wanted to do (even though it would have taken weeks to digest), she'd have lost this friend.

Wait, with this gain, she has 3 Loyalty! This cancels out her natural disobediane, so now I don't have to fear her having a mid Pokémon battle snack! Woohoo!

Now, I wonder what encounter Shiva will chose next... Not the Bulbasaur, since its Poision type, but perhaps Comite, due to its astral nature? If she does get it, she'll start having a Psychic/Fairy team on her hands!

Btw, what is your current team? I know you have Fennekin, the egg, and Cottenee, but I'm not sure on the rest of the team comp.

Just would like to chime in that Nathan might also go for Comite if it's still around after his fight with Riff and Raff.  He's been developing a bit of an affinity for Psychic types and pokemon with psychic moves himself, and I can probably think of a reason he'd try to recruit the little rock.  (I wouldn't be surprised if Deyo Flowers are involved, tbh.  Knowing rare pokemon show up around them for seemingly no reason and Kirlia has some sort of connection to the flowers as it is, he'd likely be very interested in catching it because it's so out of place)

Plus, he knows a few things about Tandorian pokemon already, so he would also recognize it fairly quickly (maybe not immediately, though)

Oh, and it would also be a good weapon against that Mega Pinsir
