Nathan has a clear goal in mind, and Ventus now has one that likely aligns with that goal as well, and both need to get stronger to be able to achieve them, so we need some fairly optimized teams in the long run (...).  Shiva is mostly just along for the ride for the experience, and isn't as concerned with battling for the time being.

True on the last point, not fully true on the first since she has indeed a relatively clear goal in mind. It's just that the old saying "Journey is the Destination" matches more than ever in her case. The world "Champion" does not appear in this goal, but Pokemon Battles do play a role since they're vital to achieve things she has in mind.

As for breeding a few unicorns to gift to Nathan, of course she'll so if you ask for it! Depending where ends up by the end of campaign, but it should work in either case, actually.

since i haven't been up to much lately I might make Larry rejoin the group at corsage port (I already got a story of how he rejoins the group it involves being let down by the new group)

Remember, Ventus knew but didn't really care that Larry left, since the boy was with a group that better fit his needs, and he's not sowing discord into his old group. The moment he comes back, though, Ven will be quite tempted to rat him out to his mother about all the trouble he got in....
