If Sage succeeds the catch, we'll have another egg in the party, yay.
But knocking Bulbasaur out and feed the egg to Apsis sounds somewhat cruel. Poor thing. Σ(°△°|||)

If anything, Sage could just sell the mama Bulbasaur, and keep the egg for himself, so that he has a loyal baby Pokémon instead of a resentful mother to deal with!

As for the fine dining of eggs, it does fit Apsis evolutionary diet, so Ventus would be justified in feeding her such a valuable thing, even if its a complete waste of a starter Pokémon. If he catches it, I'll have to get the whole group together to go over the elemental triangle of Types, since everyone has at least one Fire, Water, or Grass type in their team. It would be remiss if Ven didn't lecture them over how to properly care for those types, and what to watch out for in their development!

Hmm... Nathan is missing a Grass Type, you as well as Sage a Fire Type (if he catches/hatches Bulbasaur) and Valder has totally different Types on hand with Pawniard and Ghastly - But if my Azurill ever evolves (hopefully), I'll have the Grass-Fire-Water-Combination indeed in my team. She'll gladly listen what Ven knows about this.

Bloody 'ell, you are right! We got another error here that needs correction! Water Absorb would bring it back to 5/7 HP, which means that you would only have -1 Pain Penalization, and could spam more confusions that round! This could what the doctored ordered for you battle against Bliltzle!

Nathan might not have a grass type, but Kirlia can learn Magical Leaf, and Gallade can use Leaf Blade immediatly upon evolving.

Porygon will be all patched up when round 6 begins, so I'm not in a completely terrible situation at least.

Also, I can't have any pain penalizations if I want to use 3 actions reliably. Except for Zippy and Swiftfire (with flame charge in effect). They can do triple at -1 thanks to the +1 Dexterity. Porygon could do it through -2 if it learned agility, as could Swiftfire.

That's great to hear! If you did actually lose, though, I would just have my chara abort their action to come and try to bail you out Nathan, mate. He's not going to let his friend suffer the debt of others, not on his watch!

I'm fairly certain that's against League rules.  Interrupting an official League battle like that wouldn't reflect well on whoever did so.
