Ronin Spearow does regain consciousness, but spends most of its time sleeping whenever it can. It does not seem to bear a grudge against Ventus, choosing instead to treat him as an honorable opponent who happened to be victorious in battle!

What a noble attitude it has. I might want to just keep the bird... But lets bring it to the Pokemon Center first to have it fully recover.

Ventus does not care one iota of a quark about that. He's utterly indifferent to the bird, and as long as it doesn't bother him, he won't interact with it in anyway. He's merciful towards it, but that doesn't mean he wants to become friends with the Ronin Spearow right away!

@Dragonstrike : Ventus went to bed early to help speed things along for everyone, and for you to have the chance to talk about Comite with Shiva. That, and the more we have to talk about when Iron isn't around, the more ways we have with passing the down time!

Ventus went off to bed without talking to Shiva, so we can save that conversation for a later time. If she doesn't initiate it, the researcher will eventually. He doesn't like leaving loose end when he can, after all!

I doubt she will initiate it, dear. I wanted her to do so later, once the Spearow has been fully healed, but seeing that the bird is not aggressive agains Ven, the chance decresed somewhat... You initiating it at some point would be more secure.

About the knife... I believe Shiva will just keep it. Using it for non-dangerous activities like baking more Poffins and cut flowers and herbs from the ground. And, if worst comes to worst, for self-defense. But she has way more control when enraged, so the chance that she'll get herself in trouble are 0,001%. No worries here, @Iron. If you feel uneasy with my character keeping such an item however, feel free to incude something in-game where I'd get rid of it.

That's absolutely fine! I didn't expect Ven try to approach or even 'befriend' the Spearow, and he certainly doesn't not have to.

I wanted to get it for its ability give everyone one a nice dry and safe place to sleep every night, so I'm glad its doing its job!

He gave it to the Spearow to defend itself, but now that it doesn't have a need for it anymore, he'll want it back in his possession. A big sharp knife has many useful application for a researcher, especially one as deranged as him!

The knife is not nearly as dangerous as a Fennekin, just to name one example, so keep it!

Huh, what can be so dangerous about Fennekin...? It could deal 2 lethal damage by inflicting Burn 2 with Flamethrower, but apart from that... Full of great and unexpected things.

A lot of fire moves are surprisingly Lethal, so you should still be careful about what STAB moves it can learn! Fire is hot, after all!

I have something even worse than Burn 2 or 3, though: STAB Sky Attack. Togekiss gets it as a 0 XP move, so it can do extreme amounts of damage when it wants to! That, and Noivern gets Hurricane and maybe Draco Metter to work with, so it too have potential to kill EVERYTHING! Meanwhile, Apsis, my most vicisous Pokémon, only has Crunch as a Lethal Damage move, and I rather have her learn Acid Spray, Mud Shot, and Coil before anything else...

Hopefully he'll make a good case and get it back, but if he doesn't he will just straight up tell Shiva that he'll just find another weapon to defend himself and the group with. Either way, Shiva keeping the knife will not change to fact he''ll find something to arm himself with...
