If that's the case... Mayb Shiva will glady ask him about what he knows about Ghost Types at some point. In an all innocent matter - yet undisclosed whether she'll mention that gifted shard.

Here's my question, @ Iron: Is it possible to evade moves that never miss? (I suspect it's doable since the accuracy roll still has to be made regardless of that effect)
I'll check on Bide's info (and this as well if I can find the information) when I get home in an hour and forty minutes or so.
Also, Honedge should have No Guard, so did you factor that into its accuracy roll for aerial ace? (and our accuracy rolls against it as well in the upcoming turns)

Yes, you can evade moves that never miss. Evasion rule trumps the move rule.

Oh, never thought of that! Nice question, Dragonstrike! If that's the case, then time for a timely edit!

Bide basically does STR + Double damage inflicted on it, after two turns. Pretty brutal if a Pokémon can last long enough to use it!
If No Guard comes into play, I will have to change my Order for that round, since I forgot about that particular ability, @ Iron.

Oh, right, No Guard doesn't always have to be activated in Pokerole. Forgot about that for a moment there.

In that case, ignore what I said, @ Iron! On with the battle encounter!

This doesn't answer any of my questions though - is the Pokemon entirely immobilized until then? It just says it takes the next two hits. What if the Bider uses multiple actions?
And lasting long enough is definitely the key here! You guys obliterated Sawk.

The way the move is worded is ambiguous enough that you can have the Pokémon take those hits while it uses other actions, then use Bide again two hitslater. So if that was your intended purpose with the move, I wouldn't find fault with it!

Ugh. That'd be REALLY overpowered, though. It's powerful enough as it is considering it's difficult to KO pokemon within two rounds (without gang ups, stat reductions, and type effectiveness considered) in this game.
