This a room for non-competitive ideas/suggestions.

I more or less don't want more Pokémon added to the game, but because of balancing reasons. Call be pretentious, but I think adding more more would water down the unique one here, and cause people to gravitate towards them instead of the Pokémon native to Tandor. Its the reason I liked black and white so much, since Gamefreak did away with all the old Pokémon (for awhile), and introduced a bunch of new ideas to play around with.

I agree with all your other points, but I would also like more abilities and move where negative friendship was important. You know, like an ability that makes a pokemon more powerful the more it hates you, and more defensive if it likes you, among other things. It would give me a reason to by bitter items, after all...

Altering base stats and level up movesets is still on the table as a possibility, right? There's some that would be a lot more fun if they were shuffled around a little or added to.

If any one fakemon here needs a straight buff, though, I propose Barand. Poor thing has a single niche, and that is hitting fast and hard in the early game. Once it can't OHKO or outspeed something, it's dead. I think it's the most limited (fully evolved) Pokémon in the lot.

There. You just nailed it. Most people complained about 5th gen being so lackluster and full of 'bad design mons' (which in some cases I agree... *looks angrily at Vanilluxe* ) but overall it's the generation I liked the most since Gen.2... which I played when I was like 9 years old or so, and for that precise reason. Everything but the concept itself of Pokémon was new, it felt fresh and crispy. This is also the reason I kinda don't like Gen.7 already, as they're still ruminating old ideas and trying to make them new again...

For all it is worth, instead of trying to shut down Uranium, Nintendo should've bought it off from JV and Twitch and posted it as Gen.7 instead of whatever they're currently doing. It's still better than what they're doing nowadays...

OK enough of my ranting, back to suggestions people. *cough cough*

I would like more Pokemon in the game, and I like your idea about the ability that increases the Pokemon's Attacks if it extremely hates you. (I thought of 3 Pokemon that would fit both the abilities if I made a game. They are based off warthogs. The unevolved name I can't think of. This Pokemon evolves it its hate is max. Wrathhog. And the other Pokemon evolves if its happiness is max. Merryhog. Wrathhog is more suited for attacking and Merryhog is more suited for support. Much like the Meowstic duo)

Problem with that solution is both rather obvious and subtle. First, given all the questionable content and myriad of references to other intellectual properties, it would be very hard to get this game officially published WITHOUT a legal deluge coming upon it. If it was released, it probably would either be heavily trimmed down, and brought up to the standard of the series (Gym and Terrorist Group centric, rather than narrative and catch them all), or get brand with a higher ERB if the game is kept relatively unaltered (Teen at least).

Second, consider the theme of the game: Nuclear Power, and all the disasters it brings. You think that would hit a little to close to home, what with a nuclear reactor of theirs being blown up in recent years, as well as their past history? Might be a bit of a turn of to the developers in Japan...

........ and that's an in-game NPC using a shiny Pokemon in battle. Could be some random shitty-trainer, or some awestruck Gym Leader. I just want that moment of awesomeness, even if I have to beat this shiny.

But what if Game Freak has already done it?

Back on topic, I do want more Pokemon, but not necessarily more canon ones. A wider variety of Pokemon available means more variety in the metagame, and hopefully a bigger array of counters for things like Mega Inflagetah. But the original devs said the Pokedex was complete, and I haven't seen the new devs in a hurry to reverse that declaration.

I want to see more wild held items. Call me weird, but I really love item farming, and I want it to feel as rewarding as it does in the canon games. Maybe it could be our new source for currently-limited evolution items.

Also can character limits for names please get upgraded to 12 for both the player and their Pokemon? It's how Gen VI does it.

Point well taken. Still, Game Freak did swim in moral/social dilemmas in their games, namely gen.5, and then again, if they'd buy it out, they'd become the rightful owners of it all and could modify it as they see fit. From there on out, it's pretty easy to crop out anything too offensive. But hey, decisions were made, and the result is us being here I guess? Anyways...

Hey, for that 'farming items' issue, why not give some very-early-game pokémon the Pickup ability? I'm thinking Chyinmunk right off the bat, but maybe with Lunapup, and once it evolves, he'd get a more combat-driven ability? I dunno, something to that effect would be nice... (You'd be surprised what I could fetch with a roster full of Zigzagoons in but a few minutes in Gen.3!!)

Chyinmunk already has Pickup. But I'm talking about Thief and Covet. Active farming as opposed to passive.

What does the Trainer Tower has to do with shinyness? Or rather, what are you trying to tell me via the link.....?
