Ventus lets out a growl, frustrated that the knocked out beast cost him two Pokeballs, letting out a mild swear at that fact. Digging around into his satchel, he pulled out the Antidote he bought earlier (just for such an occasion), and walked over to Ariel, and quickly administered it to her. The living mass of Corol let out a sigh of relief, happy that the toxins in her system were countered acted and purified. Because of this, she decided not to squirt her master for invading her personal space. Ariel may not care to much for him as a trainer, but he makes her pretty happy!

Patting her on the head comfortadly, he returned her to their Pokeball, stowing it away and bringing out Apsis. Releasing them, the giant snake to one good look at the shiny Stunky, before looking questioningly at her master? Was this a treat for her, or did he want her to do something else to it? Picking up on her curiosity, he sighed and plainly stated : "Apsis, I don't want you to eat this rodent. I wanted to capture it, but it has been tenaciously resisting my efforts in that regard, so I want you to use Glare on it to 'soften it up,' as it were. I only have one Pokeball left, so I want to make it count," he says, before walking forward to the fallen skunk, and crouched down to it, and just stared at it, holding his remaining Pokeball above it menacingly.

"I know some part of you is aware enough to resist me, so I want you to listen: If you do not get in this Pokeball, you'll soon find yourself in my Arbok's belly. It either life in confinement, or being eaten alive. The choice is yours, of course."

Order: Have Apsis paralyze the varmint with Glare, then have Ventus threaten the Pokémon to make it more complacent to his demands on top of that. He'll throw his last ball at it, and if he doesn't catch it...well, it won't be pretty, I assure you.

I'll let you have one back. I misread your char sheet and thought you had 5 balls at the beginning. You probably would have paralyzed him after the first ball.

Upon both being paralyzed and threatened with death by predation, even it knew that it being caught was the better of the deal. Either that, or its survival instinct finally kicked in; the shiny Stunky still ended up in the Pokeball. Glaring at the ball for a bit, he let out a sigh before putting it away, right next to the shrouded Omanyte fossil. Since he still had one more spot on his team, it wasn't immedianlty teleported away, so he decided to keep it close on his person. One thing is for certain, however: it was NOT going to be a part of its team.

'Not only is it the younger evolution of a Pokémon that nearly took my life, but it nearly attempted to do the same to Ariel. When I get back into town, I'll grant it the mercy of a Pokémon Center visit, but I'll immedianlty go to the trading board to see what offers I can get for it. Money would be nice, but if someone has a well trained Drilbur, that would be even better,' Ventus though, before turning towards Apsis. She looked a little sad that she didn't get a tasty morsel out of that exchange, but that soon changed when her master walked up to her and petted her scales. "Worry not, my sister, you'll get a warm meal yet. The night is young, so there is still plenty of time for us to hunt!"

The mighty Arbok let out a pleased hiss at that declaration. Its been so long since she enjoyed some personal time with her master, and what better way to spend it than hunting down the weak and devouring them! With the two of them in better moods, they went off deeper in the woods, searching for prey!

Order: Going on a hunting trip with Apsis! This is ment more as a bonding exercise than actually looking for encounters, and to explain why Ventus didn't immedianlty hear Shiva and Nathan fight with the Jumbo Rattatta, and come rushing over! Plus, Apsis needs some TLC too! I mean, would you deny such an adorable snake? Would you?

Whoa. That wasn't an Absol...that was a HUGE Rattata! Nathan's hand shoots to his bag as he looks for another pokemon to send out! Before he can send one out though...Shiva asks to join him in fighting it?

Huh?

He was slightly annoyed that she'd followed him at first...but that was short lived since it wasn't an Absol that they were facing...it would also save him the trouble of having to bring out a second pokemon for this since there was little time to look for another pokeball before the Rattata attacked.

Nathan just nods in response to the question, and orders Kirlia to start spamming Confusion in doubles!

Double Confusions on Rattata in conjunction with Shiva! If a pain penalization of -2 is reached or a lethal move is used by the rat, pause. Nathan's going to be digging around in his bag and picking another pokemon to use while that goes on

Valder widens his eyes a bit when he hears that they went camping, but realises there's nothing strange about it. He decides to follow them and possibly even meet up with them, he is kinda supposed to travel with them as that is his job. So he hopes they won't fire him for it.

Valder will catch up with the group as they are settling down for the night.
