Orders for this round: As said, start with Fairy Wind and Water Gun. If anything occurs that might need immediate action or Cottonee reaching a -1 Pain (at this point, change orders to Mega Drain), I'm there for around an hours from now on.

At this point, Shiva was overly relieved that Zangoose was not making good use of its precious claws, just as she asked it to. Better not think about what would happen to Cottonee if it did...
"Well done, Azu! Keep it up like this. Cottonee, seeing that you could use some energy... please begin with Mega Drain now."
Orders stay the same for Azu, Cottonee will restore energy by megadraining now.
Effect: Damaaage! But only until 1 HP is left on Zangoose.
Secondary Effect: Hope it's not enraged to be drenched in water by Azurill...
Pain Penalization: 0 on Azurill, -1 on Cottonee after use of Oran Berry.
Accuracy Roll Mega Drain: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 2 Channel - 1 Pain = 4 D6
Damage Roll: 2 Strenght + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB = 5 D6

Zangoose Round 3
Cottonee did her best. That Mega Drain was a last attempt to turn things around, but it did not worked... Seeing that she's clearly in pain, she withdrew Cottonee for safety. My, what a fierely battle, in the morning on top of that!
Shiva focused on Azu now. It depends on the blue mouse now. Not only the outcome of this battle, but also whether Azu will keep that delight over her successful Water Gun from before. "Azu... Don't be afraid now! That Zangoose will not kill you, as intimidating as it may look to you. I'm here to keep you safe. Now, show me a last Water Gun, please! But take care not to make it TOO powerful!"
Current orders: Water Gun on that catlike ferret that dares to come so close to her!
Pain Penalization: 0 on Azu since it suffered only 1 point of damage.
Accuracy Roll Water Gun: 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 2 Channel = 5 D6

... Okay. While the hissing of Zangoose was surely intimidating, it let go of Azu afterwards. Luckily. Shiva waved it goodbye in thankfulness for the battle, before collecting her orchid-patterned plate and turning towards Azu. The mouse was...in no good state. But, it could be way worse.
She picked her up, carefully, and began to retreat to campside and to the others, all while doing her best to soothe Azurill by calm strokes over the side that seemed unharmed, while smiling dow to it in appreciation. She felt like there were no words needed, Azurill would hopefully understand anyway that she did great work in this encounter.
It was an interesting way to begin a day, and Shiva indeed felt like she learned things from this fierely battle. (How about that level-up in Fight I was after? It'll stay on 2 points for a while now, going to focus elsewhere.)

Time to reunite! Since I doubt Nathan will go anywhere far with Kirlia wounded... Enough time to talk about things, as he already said. Hopefully I'll get him to show me Double Team of Kirlia, so that I can start Tutor Sessions with Helios soon...

After the days of sleeplessness he experienced in Corsage, dealingl with emotional distress from both the town itself and from his friends, Ventus really didn't want to arise in the morning. Still, the researcher managed to drag himself off his sleeping mat, conducted his morning rituals, before exiting the tent, grumbling to himself slightly.
'By Reshirim, I just want rest more, but I have obligations towards Nathan and Kirlia today. First, I have to check on Kirlia's injury, and make some adjustments/minor treatments of it to ensure that it heals properly with no lasting damage. Then, we will have our meditation session we planned on doing earlier, and see how much progress they have made since last time. I believe I'll have Apsis join our sesson; she stands to benefit from its calming effects, and it could help her learn Coil that must quicker. Once all of that is done, THEN I can return to bed, and sleep for the rest of the day there after. Perhaps once I have fully recoverd, I can get Nathan to put Michael through a gauntlet of fights, in order to both train my mushroom and beat some proper discipline into them simultaneously. Yes, yes, that could work, but for now let me deal with what is feasible of my current strength, and put of the rest until later,' Ventus though, rubbing the sleepiness out of his eye while walking over to Nathan and Kirlia!
Order: Well, since Ven has already done all the things listed in his thoughts, he's going to bed for the rest of this day! He'll leave Apsis outside her ball to train/protect/hunt at her own pleasure, since he has not been paying to much attention to his snake
, so he wants to make it up to her in this way! (Essentially, let Apsis roam to her heart's content!)
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

Apsis is pretty full from yesterday, so she spends most of the day sunbathing. She returns when it gets cloudy and just wriggles under the tent floor to sleep - she's used to the scent of Repel by now.

Ven looked REALLY tired after that meditation session. It was pretty easy to tell he wanted to go back to bed. Considering how rough everything had been lately, Nathan couldn't blame him for wanting to sleep. Nathan and Kirlia were kinda tired too...
But no, they couldn't just snooze the day away. Not when Absol might be out there, planning who knows what...they needed to be on guard, just in case...
While they had no intention of snoozing though, they weren't planning on going anywhere either. Not so soon after such a dangerous dose of injuries had been sustained. Maybe tomorrow, things would get more rigorous again.
So while Ventus was napping, Nathan and Kirlia were outside the tent, keeping watch. Shiva was taking awhile to get that wat...oh wait, there she is! Maybe she could help alleviate some of the boredom of waiting for 'who knows what could happen?'
