[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Ven can try as hard as he wants to hide it from her, but Shiva still noticed that he became somewhat...different since the trip to the Aquarium when she gets close to him like that. Wonder why? Hmm... Whatever it was, this was an interesting game to play!~ It was also suprisingly comfortable in his arms. Let's stay like this for a while.

... That is, until Apsis has glared at her, when she realised it may be the better idea to let go of the cobra's Master. How weird - Shiva couldn't remember that Apsis was so 'agressive' towards her. Or it's just the first time she really triggered the snake to notice her... Eh, anyway, let's just trust that Ven has her under command and control well enough. Don't think about what would happen if such a snake would get close to your Electric rodents. Or a fierely fox. Or a Pokemon egg.

She chuckled silently at his words. "Hehe.. I'm doing fine. I believe. That is, apart from coffee in the morning is cancelled, but we're on a camping trip, so there's that... I'm more concerned how YOU are doing, Ven? Nathan told me you slept over the whole day yesterday, so are you feeling any better?"

How adorable! He indeed remebered her request about that shiny Stunky he caught. Delight and anticipation emerged in her, mixed up with fright...while it's shiny - Shiva forgot what colour these skunks have in their shiny form (she'll wellread and a nerd, but not even she does know everything without looking things up from time to time!)- it's still...a Poison Type... It still can intoxicate her... It still can bite her and inflict nasty wounds that refuse to heal...

I'm still not fully recovered from my stay their, unfortunately, but I should be in perfect condition after today. As for Stunky, of course you can see him. Feel free to take pictures, or even feed and pet them if you desire. Like I have warned, though, be careful..." he said, showing no outward signs of distress about releasing the Stunky. He didn't like the line of Pokémon for obvious reason, but the one in his possession should be sufficiently cowed not to try anything on his nor Apsis watch.

Letting them out of their ball, they became extremely figitidy at the sight of Ventus, and even more so when it spotted his Arbok looming behind him, flicking her tounge out at them menacingly. Dear oh dear, what did it do to deserve such a horrid fate?! It wanted food from the campsite, but it gets chased down and beaten within a inch of its life for the trouble! Oh dear oh my oh why...

(Well, now its out in the open, so interact with them however you want Phantom! Afterwards, we can get started on our double battle, if you want!)

Ah, he didn't need to tell her to be careful around the skunk... Poison. That's enough saying. No way she'd send out any Pokemon to meet that Stunky alongside her. She spoke in a low tone, as if the words are more for herself than for anyone around. "My... I don't think I'll manage to pet it... Regardless how rare a shiny exemplar in the wild is, regardless how fluffy it may look like, regardless of the fact that they aren't native in Unova at all..."



"... Reagrdless what a beautiful color it is!" That pink looks perfect on it. It felt like it's a little more bright and vivid in contrast to that dark lilac fur... It didn't even smell bad, currently. Apsis must have it under control, but she'd bet that if the snake - or Ventus himself - dare to get too close to the skunk, they'd be warded off rather nasty.

Very very carefull, Shiva nevertheless extended one hand in direction to the skunk. Before drawing back in discomfort... Before doing it again with a Pirsif-Berry-Cookie in that hand. She placed it within reach of the skunk. And tried hard to keep her voice steady. "Hey, lil' one... I'm not here to harm you... Please don't harm me as well in return, okay? I see that you're scared. I won't touch you. All I wish it take a picture of you with cell, okay? Yeah, that's fine, sniff onit if you like. Nothin..wrong with that... You're quite adorable, after all... And an absolute rarity..." Oh well, if Shiva wouldn't be so afraid of its poisonous nature, she might dare to ask Ven if she could have it, since he'll likely won't want to keep it either... But one Poison Type around was more than enough.


(@Iron, you want to roll whether or not Stunky accepts the treat I offered? I'll leave it alone afterwards.)
(Now, @Lord Windos, who of us two shall bring up the idea of a friendly Double Battle between us? I'd prefer if you did, honestly.)

Stunky cannot smell how good the treat smells, and it does not trust humans especially after the way it has been treated. Nor does it want to eat while under the dreadful gaze of that cobra!

Stunky just cowers. It does not go off, however, so that's one good thing.

Stunky's lack of reaction to Shiva's cookie offer (Other than just cowering, but its been doing that ever since it was let out of its ball) caused Ventus' to relax significantly, more or less certain now that the skunk will not try anything rash. 'Good thing for both of us, as it would cost me a valuable Pokémon to trade if it tried to maul Shiva. At the very least, this vile varmint is intelligent enough not to provoke either my or Apsis ire, so I can 'trust' it remain obedient to me...or else,' Ventus though, before turning around and shrugging at the creature's fearful reaction towards her cookie offer.

"I'm terribly sorry, but its apparent that as long as its in my company, that Stunky won't be doing much of anything but trembling in fear of my wrath. Given that it tried to kill my Ariel the night before, its lucky that I didn't feed it to Apsis, despite its shiny coloration. Now that you've had a chance to examine it, its time for it to return to its Pokeball, and await the day both I and it are free of each other," the researcher said. Before he recalled it, Shiva interjected and asked him to have Apsis back up a bit, so he complied and wave his snake off. The Arbok let out a hiss at the critter, plainly telling it not to try anything while its gone, before slithering behind the tent, ready to jump out at a moment's notice! (Ok, now you can have your picture, Phantom!) After the brief photo op was done, Ventus quickly tabbed Stunkey's Pokeball button, un-summoned it, and stowed the ball away right beside the covered Omanyte fossil. That strange being hadn't transformed since he covered it up and crammed them in the bottom of his satchel, so that is one more good thing indeed!

This is but an offer, and I would not be unhappy if you declined. The choice is yours, in the end.

Order: Throwing down the offer to battle with Shiva! If she agree, I'll send a PM detailing my battle Plan to you Iron! Let hope everything goes swell for either one of us!

... Okay, Ven has indeed gone insane. First he refused to take revenge on the pre-evolution of that Pokemon that almost killed him - regardless of shinyness - , then he began to behave strangely, and now he challenges her to a battle? Eh... Must be a late side effect of Corsage. Or sleep drunkness. Or too much lavender tea, although that's some days ago. Is that duskglass the Fortune Hunter Lady gifted her some charm to bewitch the opposite gender? Hmm... Doesn't matter, at least Ven knew how to treat a woman right, since Shiva gladly accepted his hand to get up. Somehow, she was relieved as well that the Stunky has been withdrawn into safety. She'll keep the photo as a nice reminder, though!

Wait... He challenged her to a battle... How splendid!! *cough*

"Uh... Funny thing, since I wished to see how much progress I made meanwhile as well. Already agreed to face Nathan in a battle as soon as we go back to Corsage... Because, you know, I see that regardless of I'll be challenging Gym Leaders or not, growing stronger is a mandatory to raise Pokemon properly. It's unexpected to see you challenging me, though... However, I gladly accept~"

Oh well...She'll face Apsis... However... "If that's the case... I does make it a Double Battle, right! How nice, since I find those more enjoyable and edicational. Guess I'll have Cottonee and Fennekin on my side then, the former should have recovered by now from battling a Zangoose yesterday and Fennekin might appreciate to face one of his enemies - big snakes - as well the chance to train for his upcoming move."

Ventus clapped together in delight, and positively beemed as Shiva accept his offer. "Its settled then. In this match, everything goes, so show how strong you become, my dear friend! Let's go a little bit aways from the campsite first before we conduct our match, however. Just in case it grows too wild, I don't want our Pokémon to damage our camping equipment, nor interrupt Nathan's training right now," Ventus said, before leading Shiva a little bit away to a wide, grassy field.

Apsis slither up in front of her master, raising to her full height as she displayed her sheer indominable strength. She is a mighty Arbok, and no puny Fox will ever pose a threat to her poisonous might! Michael bounded up beside the snake, and grinned at his opposition. A Fire and Grass type, huh? With his sister by his side, he'll be able to give them a nice brushing! Before both of his went forward into the fight, Ventus handed a Persium Berry to Apsis, just as a form of insurance. 'Shiva is liable to start off using Psybeam on Apsis until her fox's ability kicks in, so having a bit of protection from Confusion before then will help,' he thought, before patting his snake's had and sending her off.

"Are you ready, Shiva? On the count of 3! 3...2....1.....Go."

He called her 'a dear friend'! How cute. Is this what he saw in her? Well, if that's the case, Shiva can only return that fondness.

She alos followed Ven who began to lead her a little away from camp, filled with anticipation ande delight over how the morning started regardless of coffee being canceled. Cottonne and Fennekin followed as soon as they have been summoned beside their owner. Fox had the Incense, but as far as she knew, none of Ven's Pokemon was able to inflict confusion. Cottonee already consumed her Oran Berry against that Zangoose from yesterday, and Shiva used the Rawst and Chesto Berry she found formerly already to persuade the same Zangoose into no dealing lethal wounds...

Welp, doesn't matter now! Regardless of who'd win in the end, this will surely be fun as well an experience!
