Observing the battle causally, he smiled as everything was going well on his end so far. Apsis didn't like being pelted with psychic energy all that much, but it just let out an angry *Hisssssss!*, before lunging at Fenniken yet again, intent on finishing the annoying fox off! Michael was pouting a bit that his blows where packing as much of a punch as he liked, but the mushroom rather dedicated his power in keeping the snake between him and the fire fox, rather than just jumping into the think of it!

"Your Fennekin is performing admirably, but perhaps its best you change tactics? Blaze should have trigger by no, so trying using a boosted Ember attack on Apsis. Cottenee using Growth would also be a delightful idea as well, but that is only my suggestion."

(Technically, Apsis would have dealt one damage to Cottenee, since Ice is SE against Grass types. Seeing as the fuzz ball is frozen, though...)

As Cottenee turned a light blue color from his snake's Ice Fang, he knew that Apsis froze the poor fairy solid. Apsis, knowing this was the time to exploit the pixie's weakness, readied a Poison Sting, when Ventus help up a hand to stop her. "Apsis, halt. No need for you to savage Shiva's fairy for any longer; I believe that, in the current condition they are in, they are out of the fight. Unless you wish to continue, I believe its best for you to concede the match in my favor. You fought well, but the battle is over," he said, hand still upheld as he awaited the young's lass' decision. If she decided to continue on, then he has no choice but to let his mighty Arbok finish the process of putting the grass pixie on ice...

She picked up her fox while the other Pokemon paused in their movement, and retreated from battlefield keeping the ball of yellow fur safe in her arms. Nope, that was not sadness Ven would pick up from her now. It was deep appreciation. 

(Can Fennekin still hear the following words? If not, he'll hear them later once he's all well and vivid again.) "You did splendid, dear one. Your effort is not in vain. It never will! Listen... Can you determine that feeling you had when the flame in you burned hotter than it ever did before? ...Remember that feeling.
