She listened to every word Ven had to say about that latent potentional and the lore behind it. It sounded very interesting, indeed... "What a nice theory that is. Well this seems to be just another reason for me to grow stronger, doesn't it? If I develope some better awareness on those powers and refine them over time, it'll not only be this energy they are drawing power from in battle... I feel it'll also be the bond we have forged while refining this powers. Right? It sounds...like a wonderful thing to do on this journey. Doesn't it, lil' fox?" Even in his sleep, Fennekin was receiving some appreciating strokes through the yellowish fur on his back.

The sky above was so beautiful as Shiva gazed up to it... This latent-potential-theory was also much of her taste. Given her physical weakness - sorry dear one, but that's the truth - this was the perfect alternative method of raising a Pokemon to it's best. "Ven... Thank you for telling me this. I surely appreciate it and will keep it in mind while training. Nope, not only in Training - always. As for...my own battle strategy... Don't you think it would be awesome to call the forces of nature to battle? Like, I mean summoning and changing the weather..."

As she left then to meet up with Nathan as she suggested, these thoughts echoed in her mind. Ah, as well as Ven calling her 'adorably beautiful'. Right, she noticed that! It's exactly what she meant by 'he's behaving strangely'. Hmm... But such a compliment was sweet as ever, and for his own sake she did not comment on him calling her like this. After all, she told herself not to tease him too much, regardless of how hilarious this and his bashful reactions were!

He shakes his head.  "Even if it didn't have any effects initially, Helios doesn't know where we are right now.  And Kirlia would likely be too tired to Teleport back.  I'm sorry, Shiva, but I don't think I can agree with that plan if it doesn't need immediate attention.  Again, I'm more than willing to help you monitor Cottonee to make up for it, and you can join me and my pokemon for some relaxation time later."

Haha... Okay, she failed. Meh. She was so eager to start on things with Helios... Oh well, there's hopefully tomorrow. With the Breeder's Lisence, such an issue wouldn't even occur...

Shiva sat down next to him, Fennekin still safely sleeping in her arms, showing that she gave up on her request. More to herself than to him, she sadi something like "Doesn't matter if Helios doesn't know our exact camping place... Kirlia could mentally show him, I could try to give him a brief idea about the place - if worst came to worst, I'd just walk back on my own to the camp. But, it shall not be so today, appearantly."

She was not angry. Not at all. Rather somewhat...disappointed to see her plans crumble before her very eyes. But she isn't blaming Nathan for it, he has his reasons to refuse, even if she does not agree to them... "I'd gladly stay with you then, if that's alright to you." ... "Aaaand if you have Kirlia show me Double Team once or twice again, please." Those words were accompanied by a sly smile. She knew me was about to get enough of that, but it was an important matter to her...

Looks like the rest of the day consisted then of gently cuddling and stroking Fennekin in his sleep, holding Cottonee close to allow the fluffball warming herself up on Master and the fierely fox, while enjoying Nathan + his Pokemon's presence. All while keeping an eye on Plusle and Minun, wo were summoned out of the balls as well to enjoy some little free time and playfully nuzzle one another and everything within reach.

Mechanics:
Training Session for Plusle and Minun shall consume my Encounter Slot then, I'll hold first Tutor Session as soon as the opportunity is there. Electric Rodents will likely run around a little, full of energy and happy over being in the woods, before they reside on one spot and plot evil things about how they'd electrify anyone who dares to come too close. By the way, how does Fennekin feel about being all stroked and held close after his battle? More happy or loyal...maybe... Dunno... Just curious!

[Iron]

Fennekin is still feeling warm and inspired by the feeling of Blaze. So he's up for some cuddles! Young Fennekin are also really into cuddling in the wild, because they like to be warm and they are somewhat social critters when young.

Plusle and Minun gain 1XP.

(Aww, bonding with my Pokemon. Hmm... Given that I encountered just one Fennekin and not a whole bunch cuddling there at the Power Spot - Shiva might faint of the pure cuteness of such a sight - how 'old' is my particular fox then? I'd bet juvenile.)

Yeah, it would make sense for Fennekin to be pretty young.

He wanted to help Shiva.  He really did.  But he didn't think the risk was worth it.  At least Kirlia confirmed for him that Shiva wasn't mad about his decision...

It was Kirlia's turn to sigh, though.  Again with the Double Team usage?

"Come on, ya lug.  You've been lazing around all day.  It'll do you a little good, I'm sure.  Extra training never hurts, and we'll be relaxing later anyways, and it's another way we can make up for the refusal to help with Helios and Cottonee."

Kirlia reluctantly agrees, not willing to argue with both Nathan and Shiva.

(Any chance this can count as a training session for Kirlia since Shiva's only got two pokemon training with her, @Iron?)

[Nylon]

'wow! that's a big ship, must be someone's magnum opus... at least'. Valder is a bit impressed by the enormous ship, he hasn't seen that many ships in his life.

 Seeing this as a nice opportunity, Valder would like to check for work close to the ship, they would need help now, right? maybe he can get extra income of it. Though it was also an excuse to get closer to the ship.

 (If Valder can get work, he'll ask Ventus if he minds. If he can't work now, then he won't ask.)

Day 16 isn't over yet!  Nathan still has one major thing planned!

Staryu was making some decent progress on learning Bubblebeam.  It was slow, but steady.  Grid and Swiftfire were working really hard too.  The combee had put a lot of effort into gathering honey.  Kirlia was doing his best, as usual.

His pokemon were all working so hard.  And he felt like it was time to give them some proper thanks for all that hard work.

Now he'd invited Shiva along as well, though...and while he'd only intended to spend the time with his pokemon...

Ya know, he hadn't properly thanked Ventus and Shiva for their help yet.  Sure, he'd said thanks...but he kinda wanted to show it too.

He does a little thinking while the training is ongoing...8 honey jars...he has 6 pokemon...Shiva has 5...Ventus...might as well have 5, since he doubted Stunky and Omanyte were all that comfortable around him yet...

There's enough there for all the pokemon to get half a jar of honey.  That could actually make for a decent...party?  Was that the word for it? They were here to relax and bond, so maybe that described it well enough...

Nathan pulls out his 'dex, and gives Ventus a call.

"Hey, Ven.  It's Nathan.  Hey, you mind meeting me and Shiva back at camp this evening? Got something I need to talk with both of you about."

While Michael was carefully draining Ariel for energy (and Ariel Recovering before the damage got to severe), his phone started to buzz in his pocket, prompting him to retrieve it and flip it open to check just who was calling him (He doesn't have a lot of friends in Cheshire, so who...?). As it turns out, it was Nathan, and he immedianlty answered it, suddenly worried what was wrong. 'The boy just doesn't call me unless something important has occurred...or terrible things has taken place. Let's hope it the former, and not the later,' Ventus though, listening to what Nathan had to say, and letting an inaudible sigh of relief out.

'Good, they just wanted to speak with me in person. Strange, since he could just relay that information over to me now, but I trust that the boy has some good reason for it,' he though, before responding back with: "That can be arranged. I just have to finish supervising Michael and Ariel right now - They are healing off of each other, so its delicate business-, but I'll be right over. See you then, Nate." Hanging up on them, he put his phone before returning to his vigilance. He doesn't believe that his family member would intentionally hurt themselves, but saftely first!

*Time Skip to when that is finished!*

Ventus entered the camp proper once more, this time with a far less battered Shroomish in tow, and a worn out Corsola wearily hobbing behind him. Michael Absorbing, while relatively gentle, took a lot out of her, and constantly regenerating the damage away clearly took its toll on her. Michael look just as healthly as before, but using the same move over and over was quite tiring as well (Even if it gave him energy, that went to healing his wounds, not revitalizing him!).

Approaching Nathan, the researcher looked a little concerned for them, but that cleared away as it was apparent that nothing was wrong with them. "Greeting, Nate. Since nothing is on fire at the campsite, and nothing seem particularly odd, so why did you summon me here? I'm curious, since you don't call me for just anything, my friend."

Oh! Ven's back at the camp, hooray! And he seemed alright on top of that, which was good to see. Shiva greeted him overall normally, while still keeping Fennekin - fox was sleepy, but not anymore 'sleeping' (like, I believe he can still dig on honey?) - and Cottonee - fluffball has recovered a little thanks to being held close to both her Master and a cozy fierly fox - close to herself.

However, she was wondering as well what Nathan was up to. But as far as she could tell, it won't be anything troublesome, he'd act differently if that would be the case.
