[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
[Image: 1d0746e900e1ae0669491489fcc2da63.png]

So basically it works like when a Pokemon gets fainted. And when the game began I announced that I didn't really want to do it any differently for wild battles. So I think this will work fine.

In other words, you can withdraw a Pokemon for safety anytime during any battle where that's possible and allowed, wild or League. Switch-outs always happen in-between rounds, at which point a new round immediately begins. It's part of the orders for the new round.

Quick note, @Iron: Flash Fire was in effect for Swiftfire's Flame Charge in Round 2, so she should have had 5 damage dice in her damage pool for it. Could potentially hit Minun for one more damage.

Oh yeah, that was a result of the init order switching, thank you.

Another note, @Iron: Joltik's Compund Eyes affects String Shot's accuracy. It didn't matter in this case, but it's something to note later down the line. It effectively has +1 accuracy instead of -1 thanks to that ability. Electro Web and Fury Cutter will be the same once Joltik learns them.

Neat!

I know you're at work, or I assume you are, but that's something to remind me of when you have the luxury of making move calculations.

That will come in handy for those other moves in particular!

I actually just got back home almost an hour ago.  I didn't remember it off the top of my head while I was at work, since I hadn't looked at String Shot carefully enough previously.  Won't forget it now, though!

And yeah, it's gonna be really good with Electro Web and Fury Cutter.  And later down the line, a potential Thunder TM (-1 accuracy Thunder, anyone?  Or how about a +2 Accuracy one in the rain?)

One ruling question though: Will the ability only activate for moves with a naturally lower accuracy, or will it affect ALL moves if I get hit with an accuracy debuff from say, Sand Attack or Flash?

The move has to have the Reduced Accuracy effect icon.

Shiva won't be back online for a while, so the rest of the fight's resolution will wait until tomorrow in America. You can still PM orders or post corrections.

@Iron

Need the dex drop check for Bubblebeam on Grid.

Also, you will eventually have to check if Paralysis's stat drop were to stack with a move's attribute reduction effect. It could very, very easily come into play with Grid as soon as he learns Electroweb (and Sticky Web when he evolves), and it will make a huge difference for Electro Ball either way.
