Given the cage had a lock on the inside though, I imagine those who are aware of what's going on in the 'dream' can lock it and avoid the Houndours' influence for the most part for the night.

Shiva was okay when Ventus found her, but now there's a pack of wild, psychic (and fire?) dogs that seem to be able to influence dreams surrounding both of them. And getting VERY aggressive, too, since Ventus killed one of the pack members. And he's yelling threats at them, which probably isn't going to help.

On the plus side, I guess that tuft of black fur came from the Houndour, so that's one mystery solved, I guess...

Haha, depending how/if he hides that new trait, she might quickly notice it. It will increase the matter of 'Ventus is behaving strange around me since lately' while she values the care... Helios takes care of her as well. So much dear protection!

Now I finally have the time to read through the whole meawhile-happenings in Game Thread.

Don't hide that overprotectiveness towards her/don't make it in secret/tell her openly you wish to protect her and she will have nothing against it, I think. Honesty wins. However, this will also mean that either Ven himself or one of his Pokemon will join on the profit-yielding miniquest with battle during next day I asked @Iron for. That's totally fine to me, as long as 1. it's still me who gets all the cash for obvious reasons and 2. it doesn't become a whole-party-thing because that's not what I wished for.

Why would he do that? He'll mention that you were tapped in a cage, and say that you are not leaving his sight/Pokemon's sight until further notice. Kinda hard to be overprotective if your ward isn't aware of what you are trying to do! As for the money, Ven can always work at the docks or do his window cleaning business with Ariel, so he's not strapped for cash right now. Apsis will be the one most likely accompany Shiva, as a big hissing snakes is a clear statement for bad guys to back UP. Apsis won't like it, but tough beans for her!

What makes you say that? I mean, their is a good chance me and Shiva will die in Nightmare Land, so there will no be conflict to be haD! Hard to get into fights with dead people, right?

Ugh... Shiva won't be that fond of having Apsis around. Remember, fear of poisonous snakes? She knows Ven has her under control and Fennekin to shot Psybeams at the snake if she gets too close, but still you'd have to convice her of the idea first..

Psybeams wont do much to actually harm Apsis, unless you get a lucky Howl Boosted hit, so good luck with that! If she objects to his reasoning, though, he'll send in Raphael instead, as he trust his archangel to protect his cherished friend! His Arbok probably we be happy with the change as well, so everyone will be happy!

None said I want to harm Apsis, just keep her at safe distance... But with Raphael she would be indeed more happy.

Besides, why do you people think I'm 'held captivate' there at, as you call it, Nightmare Land? To me, it doesn't really look like that...
