That's why I've been wondering why VENTUS hasn't even shown even a sliver of interest in it. Shiva might even be just a little interest for that reason too, even if it is...creepy.

And here's the other reason Nathan might not want to hand it off to just anyone: so he's the one with the first discovered Delta/Creshirian Houndour. Being the Ruin Maniac that he is, he'd want the credit for such a discovery, no?

Vented considers them abominable demonic bastardizations of the Houndour line, so any interest in the species scientifically speaking is so far gone that it's reaching the Orin Belt. He want nothing to do with them besides killing the beasts, so he more than happy in foisting it off to scientist to experiment on to their heart's content. Preferably cruelly, but he just want those dogs GONE. 

If Nathan wants to be credited in discovering  the new sub species, Ven can arrange that happens while getting rid of it, since he's a reader her of some repute.

Yeah, spread moves/Area of effect move are truly killer dealer! Perhaps I should pick up Air Cutter for Lucifer after all... As for the Houndour, it's at least in the PC network, far way from the party. For how long, though...
