I somewhat look forward to reach Ginger Town again, even if there won't be a Festival. But I can see that Daycare owners again as well as Infiltrator-Absol and i.a. take on the exam for the Breeder's Lisence, hooray! Now I have enough money to pay for it.

I'm looking forward to our return to Wineberry.  We still have that Water Scimitar base to deal with, after all (though Valder still has to inform us about that repair job first, before we know that part in-character).

And then after that, it's likely we'll be off to Stair City!

Speaking of Infiltrator-Absol and Meowstic (haha, now that you say it about the movepool, you're right on this), how many XP would it cost for Cottonee to 'relearn' her ability if I spend an Encounter for this and roleplay it out, @Iron? Seeing that none has even thought about using a Shield move that I could infiltrate so far... Priority-Growth and later Priority-Tailwind and Priority-Cotton Spore would surely be nasty for the opponent. Up with my Dext, down with the foe's, muahaha!

Keeping in mind that Whimsicott are naturally mischievous and enjoy pulling pranks greatly, so maybe the cost are a little lower than for Cottonee?

Yeah, you can definitely use XP to change an ability. How about 16XP as Cottonee, 12XP upon evolution. Since this isn't exactly a gamebreaking ability.
