[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
It was annoying and I was scratched by many thorns, and I had to do a lot of puzzling, but it wasn't really the stressful kind of challenge. And I earned a bit of extra hours so I can make tomorrow a little shorter : )

Glad it wasn't too bad in the end, then. A non-stressful day is a good day, right?

Hehe, glad you are ok then, mate! I don't like it when people's jobs cause them pain, but it takes all kinds to do all kinds of work, eh?

I have the option to wear leather chaps to protect my legs and arms, but they are so uncomfortable that I prefer being scratched. What doesn't kill you (or cripple you?) makes you stronger!

As long as those scratches aren't too deep and/or bloody, I totally agree on the latter.

I suppose I should clarify on the intent of that order for Poryon2 to 'not hold back.' We're playing with 1 HP rules as usual, I assume, so I structured the 'don't hold back if you'd miss removing gengar from the fight' order specifically only for the first Psybeam, since holding back while doing 4 damage exactly wouldn't be enough to remove Gengar from the fight by those rules but holding back at 3 and less HP is a fairly safe thing to do, and Porygon2 was fairly likely to move before Gengar could and potentially remove it from the fight with 1 Psybeam...

*sigh*...guess I should have stated it was really only intended for that first Psybeam...

Good that Shiva's not around, because if she would and Chuckles wouldn't be intimidating to her, she'd strongly remind him on the concept of natural magic.

He didn't say there was no magic without pokemon.  Just that there was very, very little.  It's one reason why Nathan's fairly adamant that there's a reasonable explanation for most everything, seeing as he's read more than enough stuff to come to that conclusion.

Oh, I didn't comprehend it that way at all...

Also I know we're not doing the 1HP rules because Ventus already ordered Apsis not to hold back. Maybe we should make a habit of clarifying that right away from now on, although it's more for flavor than anything else. It's not League-standard, just a common agreement trainers make to keep their Pokemon healthy. Much like Nightshade's offer to Shiva, actually.

I think Gengar could almost certainly have timed his Destiny Bond to still go off at the victorious blow, though, so are you OK with leaving it as is?
