Psychic powers are useful, no?  He knew things were going south quickly way before they actually did.

So out comes Kingdra before Blastoise can react!  

"Kingdra, do us all a favor and use Smokescreen.  It's time we left.  Well then, I bid you adieu, vigilante."

'Mew, get ready.  I might need that Teleport soon.'

Kingdra pops out of their ball at your command, and spews out a wretch cloud of black soot, totally obscuring the Blastoise and Mitchell's vision, and preventing them from seeing Reiner or Kingdra at all in the black haze! However, the boiling hot Scald shot still manages to impact Kingdra before you could get rely you orders to Mew, inflicting 5 Damage and a Burn on them! 4/9 HP, - 2 Pain .

Your divine partner in crime is quick to response once she receive your message, though and pings you with the details of what will happen! 'Alright, but don't say I didn't warn you, Reiner! Its going to take all my concentration and some of your willpower to pull this off safely and successfully, so get ready for a instant Teleportation! 3...2...1...GO!'

Teleportation Escape (Not the move Teleport, since she doesn't know it and its not applicable in this case anyway!)
Cost: 1 Willpoint and Exhausting Mew (You can do without the Willpoint or Mew giving it her all, but then I start adding in REALLY bad scenarios to the success table...let's just do it this way, eh?)
Accuracy: Insight (2) + Knowledge (2) + Channel (2) - Specific Destination (2) +/- Your mental condition (0) [Can be raised by Calm Mind, Turbo, X-ATK, and similar substances, and lower by Pain, Alcohol etc. , Status and similar maladies] = 4D6
Success Table (Default) :

1 - Get Teleported high up in the air or buried alive. You will likely die without outside intervention.
2 - Limb/Organ gets spliced and you get teleported to a non-lethal (But still unfavorable) location, causing you to lose it and take a appropreite amount of Lethal Damage. I will roll a 1D20 to decide what is lost, and their are no mitigation factors.
3 - Get Teleported to unfavorable location (Instant Hard Level Encounter or get caught in a Bad Situation ) , forcing you to resolve it before getting moving on to original Destination. It will also take an Encounter after said bad event to get to the Specified Location, so you lose 2 Encounter Slots overall.
4 - Get Teleport to a favorable but distant location that will take an Encounter to get out of to the Specified Location, on top of whatever is happening there. You can choose to engage in the events there, but that will take on another Encounter Slot. 1-2 Encounter Slot cost.
5 - Get Teleported close to where you want, so it won't take an Encounter Slot. However, there is a chance that something is going on that COULD take up your time. 0-1 Encounter Slot cost
6 - Actually get teleported exactly where you wanted, with nothing bad/interesting happening to divert your attention. Nice!
7+ - You don't get teleported where you want, but somewhere better! Extremely rare, and almost impossible, but hey, it happens!

Modified Table: Everything is bumped down by 1 for each Willpoint you are willing to spend, and/or burning out Mew for the day. 1 Will Point will get instant death off the table, but Splicing is still possible, while 2 or more will start removing the all purely bad options.

In a flash obscured by the Smokescreen, you are teleported to Mew's side in your private room in the center. Upon your arrival, the psychic kitty's eyes roll into the back of their head, and they pass out, unable to be used for 2 Encounters. You also lost 1 Willpower Point, but you arrived to your intended destination, safe and sound! Thank your partner!

You and Kingdra gain 2 XP for surviving the encounter, and getting away safely.

(NOTE: Kingdra quad-resists water since she's Water/Dragon, so she only took 4 damage from Scald.  Not that it particularly matters since everything went rather well for Reiner...)

Reiner immediately runs over to catch Mew as she falls out of the air!  He hugs her close...

Yup, he was back at the Center...there was Emily, snoozing away...Wigglytuff was looking tired, too...so was he, for that matter...and Mew was out cold completely...

Something nudges Reiner's back...he turns around...

His seahorse was still on fire.  

Better get that healed, along with the rest of the team, since they were at the Center already...and then stay in his room, door locked, for the remainder of the night...he'd have to give Emily her Porygon tomorrow morning...he also might have to lay low for a little bit...he'd figure out what to do tomorrow, though.  Considering Malcolm was known as the Night Terror, she probably wasn't super active during the morning, so he had a little time...

Well, at least he had plenty of time to contemplate the fact that he was apparently Psychic now before going to bed...

You quickly (but discretely and without drawing attention to yourself) exit the room and have your Pokémon healed by the nurse on the night shift. You recognized them as an insider of Team Rocket's, so you instruct them to obstruct and not reveal any information about you or your room here. She gives you a slight, but firm nod, not questioning or commenting on this move made by you. After all, even if it was not official yet, you were an Executive in all the relevant and important areas. That deserves respect and utter compliance from a mere grunt like her!

Soon, you return to the room, and have plenty of time to review the revelation that you are a Psychic now (Weird!), as well as go over every item you recently gained today and learn about their properties. There was a slight problem, however, thought it was not terrible or life threatening: there was only one bed in the room. And Emily was currently sleeping on one side of it. You are pretty sure you can slip in and not cause any alarm, but you are also a gentleman (somewhat) , and sharing a bed with a minor was....eeeeeehhh....

Proton: Reiner is slowly making his way into completing his first objective, but...well, a lot of complications have arosen, to put it bluntly. I'll give them a couple of days to resolve that Archie Sterling situation, before I have to inform the boss. Won't they be please by this....

Pokémon Gained/Stolen/Lost?
1. Doduo : ....Its life was literally rip out of it to fuel the resurrection of a little girl. I have to report this development to the boss immediantly, but then he would ask just HOW this outcome resulted. Damn it, Reiner....putting me in a bind once more, huh? Just like old times...

3. Breloom = Value 2 (Base + Out of Region)
4. Shiintonic = Value 2 (Base + Out of Region)
Pokémon Quota: 10/15 Pokémon
Proton: Despite losing Doduo, massive progressive have been achieve on completing this goal. I estimate they will have completed this goal by Thursday at most, barring any more....unusual circumstances.

Mission Objective #3: Reiner has finally run into one of them, and it was the Night Terror them/her/himself, Mitchell Malcolm. Since his party got thoroughly battered by a couple of mushroom Pokémon, he was force to flee, with them literally disappearing into thin air after Kingdra using Smokescreen. The Pokémon Center registered them healing their Pokémon 10 minutes after the escape, so I don't know how they managed such a swift getaway to safety, but if it works for them, then all the better. Valarie still has not showed his old mug around, but then again he isn't know as 'Enigma' for a reason in the underworld. I pray for their safety...

Mission Objective #4: Proton :: Techinically Complete, but not really. Boss still passed them on this, though, so I consider this fulfilled for the time being. Looks like we have a new Executive to honor, after this whole mission is over.

Mission Objective #5: Since Erika was a no show yesterday at the Festival, no progress was made on that front. Given how much of a tough time they had against an earlier Grass Type trainer, though, my confidence is not high that he will be able to fight her if negotiation go sour. Bribery and Mew's influence is still on the table, however , so the Legends be willing....

Wednesday Morning

The central plaza is still being patrolled by police officers, but you notice a slight increase in there presence since yesterday. Whether or not its from the Druggie tattling on your actions, or Mitchell tipped off the local authority of her brief skrimmish with you, there are more of the po-po making your thieving life hard. You notice that the Podium stage is being set up for some event, however, with a Kalosian man suprivising the preparation and coordinating the efforts. Might he be Agemi Strans? Unfortunately, he's guarded by his Pokémon and a Police Officer at the moment, and they don't look their vigilance has any gaps or opportunities for you to readily exploit. Erika was here today, and she was animatedly chattering with that foreign man, chattering animatedly while occasionally take a break to accept challengers of answer her adoring fans. No sign of either Mitchell or Valarie, so all is well with the world on that front! Well, at least you don't SEE them; they could be lurking in the shadows, watching your every move....

You hope today is not as 'interesting' as Tuesday, by all the Dragon Legendaries you can name grace....

Note: Still giving of that stomach churning feeling, but he seems particularly nervous today, for some reason....

Notes: Has a Chansey out with her, which is trained to pick up on devious and negative emotions. Makes direct thievery on her significantly harder, and Auto Thievery is slightly harder as a result.

Note: They just keep making more and more money! They hired a Machamp security guard with some of the extra money they got, so the Police are no longer watching the place closely.

Reiner isn't really feeling like a morning person today (partially due to the floor, partially due to the headache he'd had last night), but he gets up anyways.  Too much work to do.

First thing's first...how were Emily and Mew doing?  They'd both been exhausted last night, and he wanted to make sure they were both okay before heading out for the morning and seeing the inevitable chaos of the festival in a fun yet nervous mood...

The psychic feline was not going to be much use until later today, and you suspect she will feel god awful when they finally awaken, due to stretching the extent of their weakened power too far. Hopefully they would not be too grumpy because of it, or conversation with them will be quite laborious indeed!

Emily, on the other hand....was wrapped around you like she was clutching a Teddy Ursa Doll. She had pulled the comforter off the bed and apparently made the choice to sleep with you on the floor that night, using your chest as an substitute pillow once more and covering the both of you up. You didn't notice at first, due to that pounding headache of yours and the quality of your sleep temporarily interfering with your higher brain functions, but it was hard to ignore now that the girl was prevent you from getting up. Wigglytuff was sleeping against the door, acting as a bodyguard and extra layer of defense to make it that much harder to brench into their room.

She must have noticed him slipping back into the room after healing his pokemon last night...he didn't think he'd woken her, but maybe being part pokemon now has heightened her instincts as well as her physical attributes...she could probably just outrun anyone who tried to chase her now, considering that's what Doduo are basically known for...(thinking about it, that Doduo's ability was probably Run Away...Emily certainly doesn't have Early Bird, that's for sure...)  

Well, not much that could be done about this situation now...except try to wake her, that is...goodness, she was MUCH stronger than she looked...oof...his ribs were certainly taking a lot of punishment lately...

"Okay, so, there's been some developments...and as a result of those, Mew's passed out right now.  I need to talk with her later, but she can't monitor things here in the meantime like I'd asked her to do last night.  So, it looks like we're going to be spending a little quality time together this morning while we wait for her to wake up.  Before we get to that, though..."

Reiner attempts to stretch his arm out to reach his bag...can't...quite...reach...ow...nope, not gonna be able to reach it right now...

"Oof...can you get my bag, please, Emily?  I need to pull something out of there.  You probably know what it is, but only I know which pokeball it's in."  He's got a sly smile on his face despite the lingering pain.

Emily looked surprised at the mention of Mew being out of action, and quite remorseful that her night time bunk in with you nearly fractured your ribs, but an look of realization crossed their face before they clapped their hands together. "I know how to fix both your pain and Mew's tiredness! Oh, umm....sorry again for causing you pain, mister. I honestly didn't mean too...I'll be extra careful about my strength for now on, I promise! Wigglytuff, wakey wakey! " she said, before shouting the name of her favorite (and last) Pokémon. They instantly shot into awareness, stretching their stubby arms before they looked over to their master curiously. What could they want this time in the morning?

The girl animatedly pointed to both the psychic kitty and you, and shouted out an order: "Use Heal Pulse on both Mew and Mister, Wigglytuff! They need a little extra pick me up this morning!" Nodding their head, the pink fluffball channeled a couple of orbs of healing energy, before shoting them into the both of you! Upon the energy entering your body, all bone crushing pain was completely eradicated, and your night time arches and throbbing migrane were gone as well! Mew, however, instantly sprung into the air and started zipping around the room, as the sudden boost of energy jumpstart a small surge of power within it. Just as quickly as that happen, they collapsed on the bed, the sudden high they were experiencing gone, but they were wide awake now! Now you know why the merchant calls them Pixie Sticks...

After that was hubba ballo was over, Emily retrieved you bag for you, and handed it over. She looked rather curious to what you had in store for her...looks like she has not cottoned on yet to the surprise. Which is to be expected, since they were passed out during the time you arranged the deal with Lilith.
