Even if Reiner makes it to escape sucessfully, I strongly doubt this was the last time we saw Mitchell. He annoyed her with his jabbering and trying to reason his crimes, so I fear things might get nasty at some point...

Reiner wasn't really trying to justify his crimes, he was giving a (fairly bog standard) explanation to try and:

a) divert attention away from himself, though we all know how well that was going to go since he's the only one with a Weavile in the city.  Doesn't mean he wasn't going to try, though.  He's got a decent explanation for each situation that might be brought up concerning Weavile's 'pickpocketing.' 

b) put the final nail in the coffin on that pickpocketing being an 'explanation for why he's obviously a Rocket Grunt.'

That second part is the one that annoyed him the most in that encounter.  Can't just go around calling people members of Team Rocket without good proof of it, after all!  (and no, the plain, black flat cap is not enough evidence by itself...unless you're the Merchant)

Things are almost certain to get nasty between Reiner and at least one of the Malcolms eventually.  It's just a matter of when and how...

2 - Limb/Organ gets spliced and you get teleported to a non-lethal (But still unfavorable) location, causing you to lose it and take a appropreite amount of Lethal Damage. I will roll a 1D20 to decide what is lost, and their are no mitigation factors.

Muahahahaha, nevertheless got a suprised reaction!~ Never saw a young female private detective, Dragonstrike? Well, it wasn't my choice, rather Gamemaster's, but I have no objectig to it. Mitchell's more androgynous in looks and stuff than actual female though, therefore I said 'Reiner couldn't see whether it was a male or a female person'.

Windos, without directly posting it in Game Thread, I guess I'll leave Mitchell searching the area a little bit after Reiner disappeared, checking whether he really left town or not - I feel she'll doubt that, so she might be...on guard for sightings of him, Weavile and any reported theivery for the time being - before I'll leave it to you when she'll make her next appearance. She'll guard the streets and the Flower Festival from the comfortable shadows, especially as soon as dusk has fallen.

The surprise wasn't in the appearance, it was in the swapped names (Mitchell is masculine, and Valarie is feminine)...I've known what the Malcolms look like since the game started, after all.

HP: 16/16
Surprise: Double Abilities! Has Shed Skin and Marvel Scale simultaneously , and can choose to to use one or another, or both at the same time!
Does not have the same stubborn pridefulness as most Dragons, but in exchange is far more aloof than even the coldest Ice type.
Moves: Extreme Speed, Dragon Pulse, Safeguard, Dragon Dance, Aqua Tail, Outrage, Rain Dance, Thunder
Ability: Shed Skin and Marvel Scale
Shed Skin: Same as Arbok's, but Dragon Skin is significantly more valuable than Snake ($5000!), but it takes 5 Days for it to naturaly shed it, instead of three. Fortunately, this boy will shed its skin by Saterday, so its better than nothing!
Marvel Scale: As described in the Rulebook, but now ALL Status and Semi-Status conditions trigger the ability (So Confusion, Disable, Block, Flitch and more!), it has a plus 1 to Perfom, and it halves the negative effects of all status penalties, rounded down. Poison and Sleep Checks are modified to be easier to meet, and Toxic acts like regular Poison instead.
Note: Is a trained specimen smuggled from the Elder's Breeding Zone, and despite have 0 Loyalty and Happiness, will typically follow orders...so long as their special needs are meet.

So, seeing as Clair is Reiner's cousin, I've done a little refresher reading on her and Lance.  And picked out a music track for the eventual battle with her if it comes down to it.  (thoughts?)

So, if Reiner is Clair's cousin, and Clair is Lance's cousin in the games as well...I think that means Lance is also his cousin?  Hoowee, that would make Reiner's extended family rather large...

I also double checked Clair not having access to Draco Meteor and Lance having Extreme Speed, just in case...and they both have them in ONE instance...B2W2's PWT (which is a rather special exception that's pretty far in the future as far as the 'canon' timeline goes).  The kicker is that it isn't even Clair's Kingdra that knows the move.  It's her Dragonite and the Salamence she'd picked up between HGSS and B2W2.

I also find it funny that their in-region teams are practically identical due to just how few dragons there are in the Tohjo area.  They both use:
Gyarados
Dragonair and/or Dragonite x2 or x3 (depending on if Clair is using Gyarados, as she uses 3 Dragonair in GSC as opposed to Gyarados and 2 Dragonair in HGSS)
Charizard (Clair only uses him in rematches in HGSS)
Aerodactyl (Clair only uses him in rematches in HGSS)
Kingdra (Lance has only ever used Kingdra once outside of the exception of the PWT, and that was in FRLG during rematches)

Reiner DOES know Clair rather well, though, given that the later often got on his case for not being as law abiding, stlickler for tradition as she was. Of course, she originally was this way as her method of trying to make you a proper Dragon Master like her someday, but Exile and Team Rocketry has changed her sentiments drastically. She used to be close to him in their own way, but now just wants to dominate and jail you for becoming a flagerant law breaker in her eyes, despite the reason leading up to those life choices. She's very much Lawful Extremist, if I want to give an aliment, when it comes to YOU now...

Her Team will mostly be unaltered, but I will be replacing one of those Dragonairs with a Dragonite (Your betrayel has given her a loooot of incentive to train her mons) and the other with a Mystery mon of my choice. The rest of her team Will be Gyarados, He rematch additions, and Kingdra, but she has spiced up her team and trained them with the explicit goal of taking you down and countering your original 3 Pokémon. Just a fair warning, mate, but there IS stuff I'm not telling you about her team. I want there to be somesurprises when you inevitably face off with them, eh?

Also, out of the two, Lance is more likely to be more reasonable and sympathetic to your plight/life than Clair ever will with some serious skull pounding, as part of the reason he became a Elite Four Member was to get away from Blackthorn and just be the Dragon Master HE wanted to be, not what tradition and the Elders dictated. Still, if you ever meet Lance during my campaign, it means you hit 11! on the Warning Level, so yeah....

Yeah, considering how similar Reiner and Clairs' personalities are, I'm not surprised she's taking this rather personally.  And his Kingdra knowing Draco Meteor is practically certain to tick her off to no end.  Oh, and the fact that he now has an Extreme Speed Dragonair probably will too if she finds out.  Yeesh...the elders still not passing her on that compassion test of theirs probably still annoys her too, seeing as she still hadn't passed it by the time of the Johto games.

And fair enough on the surprises.  Gotta keep it challenging somehow, right?
