This damage is not reduced by the foe's Defense (technically the damage pool was already reduced once by your own Defense).
I believe Psywave it's self explainatory, the bigger the level, the higher the damage pool. And it also ignores Defense.
Since all of these Moves are Physical/Special attacks, they can Crit.
Support Moves can't Crit.
Now, regarding Type Immunities. The book states that a Pokémon with an Immunity will never receive damage from an attack of that Type, but it MAY still be affected by a Support Move. As with everything, it's up to the storyteller to determine if it makes sense for a Support Move to affect an Immune Pokémon"

Sounds like no STAB but yes Immunity.

Welp, there goes that STAB bonus, but I can still get crits and perhaps power up the move with the right items! So all is well in the world! Thanks for going to the trouble to find this out, Iron!

@Dragonstrike : Is Nathan going to keep those items, or get into contanct with the Trainer and return it to them immediantly? I mean, Ventus would certainly try to get the items back to the person, but I don't know about Nathan. He's a good boy, but they are not the type to turn their nose on great items....

Working on figuring that out now.  Was busy for the past hour or so with picking up my brand new Nintendo Switch from Gamestop!  Whoo!

I find it interesting that they allow the moves to crit.  Aside from that, it sounds like all their damage potential is definitely determined solely by their effects (with the sole exemption of the type immunities, of course).

Other than that, it seems we hit the effects of the moves rather well when we discussed how we were going to use Psywave and similar, right down to the defense piercing.

Nice mate! I hope you enjoy all the games on it, since I have heard that, while they are all flawed to an extent, the games on the machine are truelly interesting! I mostly PC game myself, but Nintendo (Despite its MANY MANY faults) still hold a special place in my heart...

I'm mad at the Switch right now because someone brought one to the last D&D game I played in and kept playing it during the game?

The lineup of planned available games alone is absolutely massive.  Puts the Wii U to shame with how many good 3rd party games are going to be on it.  I'm really excited to finally get to enjoy some really, really good games on a brand new console for once.  The last console I played games on regularly once upon a time was the Wii.

....What is the point of playing a tabletop RPG if you are going to be playing its immediant 'upgrade' (Relatively speaking) , rather than engage with the other people/characters and fully immerse themselves in their own? Dear oh dear me....
