[Game] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure: Celadon City Vandel
Valarie just chuckles good naturelly, completely understanding where you were coming from on this matter. "Oh yes, indeed. I remember all the time Nevermore here botched an attack just because he wanted to be melodramatic, or his own ability backfiring on him in the most inopportune of moments. Super Luck might help him get Critical Hits more often and negates most bad luck, among other things, but when something unlucky happens, its quite the spectacle for all to see. My deepest condolences for your Rhyxemplar terrible luck as well, as Horn Drill should not pose such difficulty to a speedy brute like him, especially when he's fighting to protect an powerful lord," he said, smiling knowling at both you and Nevermore, the later of which appears rather flustered by his past misfortune being brought up. Oh, why must his partner demean him so!

Rhyxemplar New Initiative: (5) + *8 = 13 Even with Rock Polish and Paralysis on Nevermore, its not going first.

Valarie Malcolm Round 10

The gigantic crow was so darn stressed out from all the teasing that he was starting to lose feathers over this! Oh wait, he was just using:

Feather Dance
Accuracy: 13D6 - 1 Pain - 5 Accuracy = 7D6 Dice
(1)(4)(6)(4)(6)(2)(5)
Rhyxemplar's STR is reduced by 2!

Grumbling at being treated like a test subject for all the woeful ailments and debuff in the world for the upteth time, the metal Kaiju lumbers forward to swat that gianting annoying bird!

Iron Tail 1
(1)(6)(1)(2)(1)(6) Barely hits!
(1)(1)(2) However, it just clipped the edge of one of its big wings as it took to the sky, dealing no significant damage besides ruining his plumage.

Unfortunatly for the steel plated monster, the harbringer of doom HATES it when anyone mess with his wings without permission, and swoops down with a vengeance, ranking its dark glowing talons on the beast's face!

Night Slash
Accuracy: 15D6 - 1 Pain - 6 Action = 8D6 Dice
(3)(5)(5)(3)(4)(2)(6)(1) They found a chinck in his armor! Critical Hit.
Damage: STR (*6) + 3 + STAB + Crit (2) - Vitality (*6) = 6D6 / 2 = 3D6
(4)(3)(5) Rhyxemplar takes 2 Damage; 8/10 HP , - 1 Pain

Rhyxemplar was beginning to lose his patience with his moves either missing or ending ineffectual, and channel that discontent into clobbering Nevermore some more!

Iron Tail 2
(2)(1)(6)(5) Hits!
(1)(5)(5) Nevermore takes 2 Damage; 8/12 HP

The baleful black bird let out an undignified *Squak!* as the kaiju successfully swatted them down from the air, which was so loud that it left Rhyxemplar ears ringing!

Screech
Accuracy: 12D6 - 1 Pain - 7 Actions = 4D6
(4)(1)(5)(5)
Rhyxemplar's Defense is lowered by 2

Clutching his ears in and letting out a gravely growl at his sense of hearing being assaulted this time, and slammed his tail into the crow to just make it shut the hell up!!!

Iron Tail 3
(3)(6)(1) Hit!
(3)(5)(4) Nevermore takes 2 Damage; 6/12 HP , - 2 Pain

The metal beast's blow knocked the wind out of them, forcing him to briefly shut up as the wind was knocked out of him and he was sent involuntarily flying! Regaining his breath and mobility mid-air, the gigantic mobster bird did another fly by, strucking out with midnight black talons twice over!

Night Slash 2
Accuracy: 15D6 - 2 Pain - 8 Actions = 5D6
(4)(5)(4)(2)(4) Nevermore finds another weakpoint to exploit! Critical Hit.
Damage: STR (*6) + 3 + STAB + Crit (2) - Vitality (*4) = 8D6 / 2 = 4D6 Damage
(1)(5)(6)(4) Rhyxemplar takes 3 Damage; 5/10 HP , - 2 Pain

Night Slash 3
Accuracy: 4D6
(4)(3)(5)(4) Super Luck + High Crit Move = its a Critical Hit!
(2)(5)(6)(1) Rhyxemplar takes 2 Damage; 3/10 HP

Nevermore lands over in front of his master, tired and pained from his wounds. Rhyxemplar stomped over in front of you, equally taxed from not only his injuries from this battle, but from each of his bouts against that old man's Pokémon. First immolated by a goddess of fire, then bullied by a spider, and now being pestered by an oversized turkey.

If his master was anyone else, he would have just refused to get back in after the second fight, but that old monster over there was right. He (You) was a glorious, powerful leader, his skill equal in battle to the other Executive and perhaps his former master Giovanni, but that wasn't the most important thing about him. No, that was their good heart, one that care for both his Pokémon and friends in equal capacity, and willing to do what it takes to make right what is wrong. He was a great lord that he would willing serve, on and off the battlefield, no matter how dire the situation it is for him, until the he no longer can. Rhyxemplar gains 1 Happiness Point!

"Were both getting close down the wire here, Mr. Arendse. I wonder who will walk away from this exchange, I wonder? Who will be the victor? I am eager to find out myself, but what about you?"

Current Status
Nevermore: 6/12 HP , +3 DEX and STR , - 2 Defense , - 2 Pain
Rhyxemplar: 3/10 HP, - 2 STR and Defense , - 2 Pain

Reiner is happy to see Rhyxemplar doing so well and continuing to fight despite how...frustrating all the battles he's participated in so far have been.  "I'm not sure if this tops my battle with Mew, but it's certainly one of the best battles I've had in a loooonnnnnggggg time.  I've got a couple things to say to you once it's all over, so don't go anywhere."

"Alright Rhyxemplar, great job as always.  You do a spectacular job of wearing your opponents down.  Keep doing what you do best until you go down or KO your opponent, and know that I'm thankful for all the hard work you've put into this battle and all the prior ones.  You've had to put up with some really difficult aggression, and you've taken it all like a champ."

Smart Strike x4 (Non-lethal.  Rounds 7, 8, 9, and 10 were the Disabled rounds)
Accuracy: 5* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Brawl - 2 Pain - 4/5/6/7 Actions + 1 Wide Lens = 6/5/4/3 D6
Damage: 2* Strength + 3 Power + 1 STAB - 4* Defense = 2 D6
Effect: Never misses.  Except when the opponent uses Dig or something.

(If Rhyxemplar goes down, which he probably will, Reiner will send out Yang once again)

Reiner calmly recalls the kaiju with a smile on his face.  Then he looks behind him.  "Looks like you're ready to go again.  Ready to get back in there, Yang?  I don't have to tell you what I want you to do, right?"  (Since Yang was never recalled so he could heal, he's still under the effects of both Dragon Dance and Crush Claw, yes?)

Rain Dance
Accuracy: 5* Dex + 4 Fight + 1* Perform - 3 Actions = 7 D6
Effect: More rain!

Thunder x2! (Non-lethal, of course)
Accuracy: 5* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Canalize - 4/5 Actions - 3 Acc + 3 Rain = 7/6 D6
Damage: 5* Strength + 5 Power + 1 SE - 4* Defense = 6 D6 + 1 Damage
Effect: 3 D6 Paralysis chance

(Yes, he will still have both the buffs and debuffs applied to him, since I allowed him to regenerate all that HP between rounds. Fair is fair, eh?)

Valarie raised an eyebrow from what he heard, before they shrugged his shoulders with a fairly serious experssion on his face. "I'm flattered that our match compares to that of your battle with Mew herself, but your words seem to imply that you foresee yourself victor. Things are not just over yet Mr. Arendse, as my Nevermore and I will fight to the bitter end if it mean we can achieve victory, so don't count out of this battle until we can no longer muster even the weakest struggle! Enough words for now, let our action speak our conviction loud and clear!"

Nevermore let's outs out a caw that resounds throughout the city, thought fortunately its not its signature bird call to call a horde of Murkrow upon he battle field. Thank Arceas for that!

Rhyxemplar, even though he batter, bruised, and pessimistic about his chances in this round, gives his master a fist pump at their words. All the motivation they need to give it there all!

Valarie Malcolm Round 10

Taking advantage of his boost of confidence and superior speed, the gigantic crows bolts into the sky in a gust of wind, before dive bombing Rhyxemplar with his signature Dark type Move!

Night Slash
Accuracy: 15D6 - 2 Pain - 5 Actions = 8D6 Dice
(2)(6)(2)(2)(3)(5)(6)(3) There is no vulnerability that Nevermore can't exploit! Critical Hit.
(6)(3)(5)(6) Rhyxemplar slumps to his knees, giving one last glare to the big black bird, before passing out.

You quickly call for Yang to take his place on the battlefield, and his body is soon picked by the numerous Toxic Spikes scatter on your side of the field!

Yang Initiative: (6) + 7 = 13 Just doing it for posterity at this point.

Badly Poison:
(1) He's just regular Poisoned, horay?
Marvel Scale kicks in, canceling out the Defensive drop caused by Brigid's Crush Claw!

Nevermore gets the distinct feeling that the regal dragon was gong to start literally rain of his parade, so he points at them and looks serious, before its replaced by a disappointed expression as he shakes his head, trying to enrage them by demeaning their power!

Taunt
Accuracy: DEX (*9) + Fight (3) + Intimidate (1) - 2 Pain - 6 Actions = 5D6 Dice
(3)(6)(5)(2)(3)
Dragonair is ticked off by the bird's diss, becoming Taunted!

Far too furious to even think of using Rain Dance on the ever so annoying bird brained bastard, Valarie takes the opportunity to spray down Nevermore with a Super Potion, restoring his HP to full!

The harbringer of doom just decides to add insult to injury by raining down more cursed feather from above, intent on hobbling it every step of the way!

Feather Dance
Accuracy: 13D6 - 7 Actions = 6D6 Dice
(5)(3)(4)(2)(5)(6)
Yang's STR is reduced by 2!

Now even more pissed off at Nevermore for ruining his sparkling coat with their dirty wretch feather, the supreme Dragon types raises himself in the air as their crystals on his body started to glow, and a bolt of pure electricity came from down the heavens!

Thunder
(6)(4)(6)(1) It still hits its target despite their being no rain, though!
(3)(4)(4)(4) Nevermore takes 4 Damage; 8/12 HP , - 1 Pain
Paralysis: (6)(6)(6) Oh bloody hell, Nevermore is also super Paralyzed! -  2 DEX!

The bolt of lightning crashed into him, lighting both him and his plumage up, forcing him to rapidly descend to the earth and touch down on to try and ground the electric charge within him, to no avail! The crow was furious that both the sky and part of his mobility had been denied to him, so he put those negative emotions to good use by channeling them into a huge blast of black energy! He also bits into the Lansat Berry hidden in his feather, boosting his Critical Hit rate by 1!

Dark Pulse
Accuracy: DEX (*7) + Fight (3) + Channel (2) - 1 Pain - 8 Actions = 3D6
(6)(5)(6) Critical Hits for days!!!
Damage: STR (*6) + 3 + STAB + Crit - Vitality (*4) = 8D6 Damage!
(1)(2)(5)(4)(5)(2)(2)(4) Yang takes 4 Damage; 12/16 HP , - 1 Pain
Flitch: (1)(2) Nope!

Yang must have never heard the saying 'Lighting doesn't strike twice!' , as he called yet another bolt of energy upon the gigantic raven!

Thunder 2
(1)(6) It hits!
(4)(6)(6)(3) Nevermore takes 4 Damage; 4/12 HP , - 2 Pain!

Another pulse of pure negativity heads straight for the majestic serpent , for he HATES being zapped with Electric moves!

Dark Pulse
Accuracy: 12D6 - 2 Pain - 9 Accuracy = 1 Dice
(4) Hits!
(1)(3)(4)(6)(6)(1) Yang takes 3 Damage; 9/16 HP
Flitch: (3)(3) Lucky lucky!

Yang's Poison Check
(2)(3) Marvel Scale is not doing its job here! Yang takes 1 Damage

Tension is at an all time high on the blasted battlefield, as both trainer and Pokémon alike glare at each other with all their determination! Who will win the fight? The next round could decide it all!

Current Status
Nevermore: 4/12 HP , + 1 DEX , + 3 STR , - 2 Defense , - 2 Pain, Paralyzed
Yang: 8/16 HP , + 1 DEX , - 2 Pain , Poisoned

Valarie Malcom Final Round?!

(Leftovers restores 1 HP though, so that brings Yang back to 9.  There's also Shed Skin to consider, though I think it's in Yang's best interest to not use that ability right now)

"You sure I don't have good reason to be confident I can win this?  Regardless, let's end this.  Yang, more Thunder!  And if he's on his last legs...er, wings, you know what to do!  Show him just how strong you are!"

For clarification, the order here is Thunder twice, then Extreme Speed.  But if Nevermore is on 1 HP, use Extreme Speed instead of the second Thunder)

Thunder x2 (non-lethal)!
Accuracy: 5* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Canalize - 3 Acc - 3/4 Actions - 1 Pain = 5/4 D6
Damage: 3* Strength + 5 Power + 1 SE - 4* Defense = 4 D6 + 1 Damage

Extreme Speed x2 (If Nevermore is on 1 HP, this replaces a Thunder.)
Accuracy: 5* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Brawl - 4/5 Actions - 1 Pain = 7/6 D6
Damage: 3* Strength + 3 Power - 4* Defense = 2 D6

(And if Yang goes down, there's still Weavile to send in and finish this)

Icicle Crash (and Reiner will spend a Will point to make sure this hits if it comes to this since it's his last shot at winning)
Accuracy: 4* Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Brawl - 1 Accuracy + 2 Single Action = 11 D6
Damage: 3 Power + 4* Strength + 1 STAB + 1 SE - 4* Def = 4 D6 + 1 Damage (Plus the Ice Gem's effects)

Valarie Malcom Final Round?!

The old former criminal has nothing to say to your comment, for he's too focused on the battle right now to give your words any attention once so ever, besides his Death Stare grower even more intense!

Nevermore channels both his master's and his own heaping moundful of buried, hateful emotions to keep on blasting the regal dragon with negative energy!

Dark Pulse
Accuracy: DEX (*7) + Fight (3) + Channel (2) - 2 Pain - 5 Actions = 5D6 Dice
(6)(3)(6)(6)(5) The negativity is positively overwhelming! Critical Hit!
(6)(1)(6)(6)(2)(2)(6)(6) Yang takes 5 Damage; 4/16 HP , - 2 Pain
Flitch: (2)(6) They Flitch from the horrible feelings!

The big black rave releases other blast of negativity, intent on either putting Yang's lights out, or keep it locked down so it can't strike him with Thunder!

Dark Pulse 2
(5)(6)(5)(5) The feels are very real in this move! Critical Hit!
(1)(2)(6)(5)(4)(5)(3)(1) Yang falls unconscious from the move, his mind unable to within the seething emotional assault!

The giant old man is quick to throw you another Full Heal to treat your Dragonair, as you summon Weavile to make a last ditch stand!

Weavile's Initiative: (6) + *7 = 13 Second place counts for something, right?

Nevermore almost looks paniced at the sight of your artic feline, his mortal enemy and rival out in the wild, before he puff his chests and literally Steels himself, racing over by land to smack them with its wing!

Steel Wing
Accuracy: 13D6 - 2 Pain - 7 Actions = 4D6 Dice
(1)(1)(1)(4) The raven almost trips mid-stride and brains himself with his own move (Again), but he just manages to right himself in time to land it on them!
Damage: STR (*6) + 3 + SE - Vitality (*4) = 5D6 + 1 Damage
(5)(4)(4)(4)(6) Weavile takes 6 Damage! 1/7 HP , - 3 Pain!
Effect: (2) Thank Arceas, nope!

Almost sent straight to absolute zero from the blow, you partner in crime just barely manages to cling on by a thread, but then something happens....a familar pink aura appears around him, filling him with unexpected energy as it fully restores his HP before vanishing!. If you had to guess the cause of it, the battle stress and importance of this fight must have caused the blessing he received from Mew to activate when he needed it most! NICE (First type of use of Mew Blessing Triggered, Other use remaining) !!! Fully invigorated and towering threateningly of the now fully frightened harbringer, the black cat  channels all his strength from with in the both of him and you, raises his paws up and conjures several large ice spears above him, before slamming them down to the earth, sending the javelins straight onto Nevermore!

Icicle Crash
Reiner spends a Will Point to ensure the moves lands!
(6)(2)(4)(2)(4)(1)(6)(4)(6)(5)(6) The move hits brutally, flash freezing the bird! Critical Hit!
Damage: 4D6 + Crit (2) + SE = 6D6 + 1/2 Total Damage + SE = 9D6 + 1 Damage! Ice Gem is used, leaving a regular old gemstone.
(5)(3)(6)(4)(5)(2)(1)(4)(1) Nevermore is put into cryogetic sleep, knocking it out!!!

As the dust and soot settle on the battlefield, a single figure remands standing at the end of this long, grueling, and perilous challenge: the black cat himself, Weavile! He has a very satisfied smirk on his face as had one foot one top of the fainted Honchkrow, looking straight at Valarie and radiating the distinct feeling of satisfaction  and victory! Hehehe....he has countless flawless heist to his name, has felled the his greatest ancestor Mew herself (Albeit with a heck of a lot of help and leeway!), and now has taken down the Enigma's most powerful fighter down a few notches. Not so bad, if he were to be the judge of things!

Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_h4INcKOgg (Victory! Gym Leader Fire Red/Leaf Green )

Weavile gains another point of Happiness for being the one to secure victory for you!

Reiner also regains the Will Point he spent, for narrowly winning the fight at the last possible moment!

All of your Pokémon gain 20 XP , and you gain 22 XP for all the aforementioned reasons.

The old man, neither screaming/snarling in rang, or expressing his disappointment in the battle, just quietly returns Nevermore to his Pokeball, before he grips his cane in both hands and just sighs, head tilted towards the ground. The police sirens, which seemed so distant during the battle, now sound closer than ever before, but you estimate that you have enough time to say one last thing to the old ex-criminal before beating a hasty retreat.

Decision, decision, and so little time....what will you do with it?

Reiner swears.  He didn't have enough time.  This battle had left both him and Valarie exhausted.  Reiner walks over to him, putting on his best intimidation appearance.

Sounding rather menacing, "Alright, Valarie.  Back down, and make sure to tell Mitchell the same."

But then quietly so Reiner's tail(s) can't hear, "...but don't give up.  Depending on if you find me here the final night of the festival, you'll know what decision I've made."

He backs off, staring down the old man.  And then he turns to Arial with an incredibly serious look on his face.  "Alright, Arial, let's hightail it out of here before those cops arrive.  I don't know about you, but I'm ready to call it a night."

Reiner had some thinking to do...and a whole bunch of stuff to prepare for...before all that, though, he had to get back to the Center...Emily and Mew were probably starting to worry a little...

Valarie stiffened a bit at the first part of your message, and your could clearly see and feel them restrain themselves from smashing your skull in with his cane, but the second part stopped those resentful, bitter feelings in thier tracks, and genuine amusement soon replaced them as he let out a low, ultradeep chuckle that made goosebumps trail up and down your body just by hearing it.

"Neither a criminal or hero, you instead choose to walk the narrow divide that bridges the two. If I were a younger man, I would have called such a decision foolish and gutted you down, but I'm an older, gentler spirit now, and this age we live in isn't the same one I once struggled and thrived with and without the Yakuza. Hahaha....you are playing a very dangerous game her, Reiner. One wrong misstep, one sign of weakness or thought of doubt or hesitation, and both sides will be upon you like Murkrow on a rotting carcass. Still, if anyone can pull of such a neat balancing act between the many opposing forces, the only criminal that I judged worthy enough of a fair fight and being a Chosen of Mew certainly has a better chance of most. I'll be awaiting you here Saturday Night for your final word on the matter...if you survive your next encounter with my grand daughter that is, among the many, many harrowing trails you face in due time. Have a wonderful time at the Flower Festival until then, you whipper snapper," the old man whispers to you, before pressing something in your hand as he back away suddenly from you, rapidly nodding his head in 'fear' to keep up the charade you put in place.

Then, just like that, Valarie Malcom was gone. Vanish in an instant, into the inky blackness. You looked down at you hands to see what he gave you, and you almost gasp. It was a solid black Revolver of an unknown make and model to you, but you strongly suspect its custom made. It heavy like a lead brick in your hand, and you could distinctly feel the aura of Dark energy surround the weapon, ready to take the life of those that its aimed at... It looks like it will take your .500 ammunition as well, and other bullet types. Why the heck would he give this to you?

The sound of the sirens getting closer, though, cut of that line of though off quickly, and you were forced to flee the scene of the crime before you got caught. Arial had already disappeared by the time the conflict end, so who knows when he'll show up next time....

When you got far enough away from the area to not get caught, you conveniently received a message from Mew, updating you that everything was fine and dandy over their, though the divine feline mentioned in passing that Emily was pestering her for the opportunity to draw her a portrait, which was a sweet if needless gesture for the Legend. From the sound of things, they are not too worried about your right now; that battle, while it seemed to last an intense enternity, only at up a moderate amount time. The sense of time distortion is real here...

Its currently Wednesday Night, and you have this and one more encounter slot to use if you choose so. Mitchell can not spawn in this night, so you are free from their vigilance. You have time to make a stop at the Pokémon Center to heal up your Pokémon, but not talk to the others unless you want it to eat up a slot.

Encounters: Mask Salesman, Officer Samael (Difficulty: Moderate, reward $2000, 1 Pokémon, 1 Controband Item), Agemi Strans (He's walking to his hotel suite with only his own Pokémon out) , Lights Stand , Gambler Robin (Difficulty: Easy Reward: Depends on what you bet on.)

Custom Items:

Mamudo Eclipse
Type of Gun: Handcannon Revolver
Cost: Very much Illegal for a civilian to own, much less a cop!
Power(s): Full Strength Mod, inflicts Dark type Damage with each shot by default, Reaper's Touch (All shots are considered 'Always Accurate' for Lethal and Extra Lethal Attacks made by this weapon when this feature is activated, but each shot deals 1/2 Non-Lethal Recoil to user) , Holds 6 Shots.
Note: One of a Kind of Gun; Engraved with the name of the gun on the barrel's length in flowing cursive script.

Another swear from Reiner when he finally notices Arial has vanished amidst the chaos.  He really hoped Proton didn't catch wind of this, much less Giovanni...he could reasonably answer for not killing the man, since dissuading him from continuing the vigilante work was still technically on mission, but not for a potential betrayal.

At least Emily was still safe.

Well, a promise was a promise, however sketchy it is.  No more unnecessary trouble from him for the remainder of the festival.  He wasn't in any shape for any more tonight anyways.

And if his tail was gone, that meant he could head back to the Center for the night without raising any eyebrows.  He could cash in those coupons tomorrow, and he was done with basically everything he could do for the day anyways.

Though if Arial's job really was to keep Reiner safe, he wasn't exactly doing a particularly good job of it right now...

Back to the Center to end the day for Reiner (and heal his pokemon...yeesh...)!  Time for Arial to see some action in his place?
Reply
You make end up making it to the Pokémon Center completely unmolested by any of the possible troubles that have been springing up like Flabebe during a warm, sunny day. Romeo and Juliet, Mitchell Malcom, 'Vampire , gathering more Balms from whoever, and good old cousin Clair - just for good measure- and perhaps even your Boss himself....all these people have the maximum potential to complicate both your life and the Flower Festival in oh some many ways. Add in the fact that Valarie Malcolm has not been fully dealt with, one way or 'another',  you just received an object (A fricken handcannon revolver!) that felt like you were carrying a pierce of Death itself , and the now viable, very real possibility of going traitor from Team Rocket....things were shaping up to be MORE interesting as the festival went on, not less.

Still, those were problems for another day and a more well rest Reiner, so you handed your Pokémon to the nurse on duty for the usual full health restoration, before heading off for the day, feeling quite accomplished from completing around 3 of your own mission objectives!

End of Day Status
Total Money Earned: $32500
Total Money Spent : $10000
Total Money Gain/Loss : $22500
Money Quota: $26100/$20000 Completed (For now!)
Proton: ....What the hell. In just one day, he ends up making well over the quota and aquires enough leftover to make things easier for him during the rest of the festival! Graah....even unknowningly, you always find a way to buck my expectations and rub them in my face. He's not out of the woods yet, as he has to keep a hold of that loot until then, but even if he lost it all that Weavile of his could rob a bank and make it look like an inside job. Baah...

Pokémon Gained/Lost
1. Dragonair : Value 2 (Rare Dragon Pokémon) : Reiner got this from a Dragon Acollate from Clair's gym, by what little Arial gather before he was found out and subsequently humiliated by them. *Sigh* I've taken him off his task and, with permission from the Boss, assigned him to that little overachieving pest for the time being, while saddling him with some task a punishment/replacement for the job he botched....Didn't get to hear much from their conversation, but it seems that Reiner is making himself some powerful friends...hmm.
2. Tarous : Value 2 (Base + Rare Safari Zone Pokémon)
3. Emprilla: Value 2 (Base + Out of Region)
4. Shellder: Value 1 (Base) These last three Pokémon where acquired by Reiner when he finally meet up with Erika, along with over half his day's haulings in Poke. Since we haven't heard word from Erika yet on an alliance, the kid must still be working out that deal for himself. I just Hope it all doesn't blow up in his face, like so many of his other hair brained schemes....man, all the messes I had to clean up because of him...
Pokémon Quota: 17/15 Completed
Proton: Finish this one today as well, but any good Rocket Grunt can make a similar haul on a good day. What has got me a little ticked off is that he bartered most of them from Erika herself, rather than out right stealing them. Now that I think about it, most of the Pokémon he acquired where not by theft, but by other people giving them to him, one way or another! WHAT THE HELL. Graah....

Mission Objective #3: He actually did it, beat Valarie Malcolm at his own game. That old bastard tried to get Reiner to turn traitor, and end up getting in a fight over his final fate! A fight so destructive and chaotic that it drew the Police from all over Celadon City to find out if they had an incident of domestic terrorism on their hands. He chased him like a true Rocket, the bastard was quavering in his boots before he vanished, hehehe! I doubt Mitchell will just give up like her grand dad, though; if anything, it should motivate her to hunt them down and start firing away! Life has just gotten interesting for you, Reiner, for a change...

Mission Objective #4: No comment, since nothing has really changed with this situation. Moving on.

Mission Objective #5: He's making progress in sweet talking Erika, given we haven't heard the Gym swear a vendetta against him, but I don't know exactly WHAT he has in progress, since they slipped inside to a soundproofed room. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow and see what's up with this....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thursday Morning (For Reiner)

You woke up in you bed this time, since if Emily was just going to get out of it to keep you company during the night, might as well not get back problems sleeping on the hard floor. She was sleeping on her side of the bed, snoozing away peacefully with Wigglytuff and Porygon by her bedside. Mew, on the other hand, was curled up on your chest and was snoozing away, feeling completely at ease from the positive feeling you can get from them. All in all, not a bad start to the morning.

"Sir, you have two pending calls this morning, and both of them said that the business they had with you was 'important'. One was from your former commanding officer Proton, and the other was, and the other was from a weird and disturbing shrouded sales person. They said that it was imperitive you call them right away, so the conference room from last time has been prepared for your morning use. If you would come this way..."

"Lead the way."

Hmmm...the Merchant's call wasn't surprising.  What was Proton calling about, though?  Hmmm...best go find out and not make assumptions...
