"Since both of them also know Entrainment as well, it might be possible for them to spread their abilities to my pair of Pokemon? Raphael and Lucifer would certainly benefit from having Plus and Minus for this battle, since I don't need either of them to Flitch or find any items on them. What do you say, Shiva?"

... Shiva just stared at Ven with an expression that said actually not much, but he'd pick up that she's rather impressed and delighted by that idea of his. If her arms would not be occupied by the stove and her psychic cat AND if they were not in the opponent's territory where there's no room to show affections, she would outright tacklehug him.

"What a wonderful idea! Let's do that right away before we start battle, shall we?~" With a rather quick movement Kyuu has been withdrawn, and instead her Electric Rodents were summoned. Both were eager for an electrifying battle, as well as delighted to see their Master again - that delighted that they outright jumped at her!

"Whoawh, hey, calm yourselves... Anyway, I'm glad to see you again too. Before we'll have an electrified battle against a swarm of Pokemon however, could you two please use Double-Entrainment? You, Minun, on this Togekiss here; while you, Plusle, aim for this draconic bat. Alright? Go for it~"

Accuracy Roll Entrainment:
3 Dext + 2 Fight + 1 Perform = 6 D6
Effect: Gives Ven's Pokemon the Plus-Minus-Combo = +2 Strength. Anyone else needs it right now?

"Give one of those abilities to Starmie as well.  More useful than Illuminate is currently, and the ability should still trigger while fighting alongside the both of you."

Adding the word 'please' wouldn't hurt, but Shiva will do it anyway since she's already in it. "Sure thing!~ Plusle, how about another performance? This time for and with that Starmie. That'll be all for then; thank you lots my dear ones. Please save your energy for the battle to come now."

Since Valder asked for Minus on Froakie, he'll be of course granted it as well.

(@Iron, Accuracy Rolls stay the same in case you want to roll for it, otherwise I'm finished with handing out free abilitiy-changes, every of our Pokemon should now have a +2 Strength due to Plus-Minus triggered. Guess you can release the swarm of small Pokemon on us them, please~)

Seeing no way to disarm the trap, you all step forward, armed with your Pokemon.

Immediately, chutes in the walls open up, dispensing a flood of the most dreaded cave Pokemon of all time - ZUBAT!

They'll be organized into 4 groups of 4 for initiative purposes - 16 zubat!

The swarm of Zubats mobs you - hopefully you will have time to take a few of them out before you succumb to their mass poison and confusion!

In the swarm of many, many blue bodies, you see that all the smarter Zubat are winging their way deeper into the dungeon, perhaps alerted to the presence of Zubat-killers like Grid. These special Zubat can be hunted down later! You think you even catch a glimpse of sparkling green among the swarm of blue and purple.

But sparks are already flying between ALL the party's Pokemon, a beautiful network of different colors.

Iniatives:
Joltik (2) + 5 = 7
Minun (6) + 5 = 11
Starmie (5) + 5 =10
Theo? Or was it Gastly? I didn't quite understand which Pokemon you recalled. (4) + 6 = 10
Togekiss (5) +5 = 10
Zubat A (6) + 4 = 10
Zubat B (6) + 4 = 10
Plusle (4) + 5 = 9
Lucifer (4) + 5 =9
Zubat C (5) +4 =9
Froakie (2) +6 = 8
Zubat D (1) + 4 = 5

Lucifer hisses as he recognizes his distant, non-draconic kinfolk.

The Zubat fill the cavern, covering your Pokemon, making a huge racket, and getting in your hair! The place is filled with their high pitched squeaks.

Zubats... BLASTED ZUBATS! Because what else was there to be expected, now to think about it... Damn Poison Types. All she could do was hoping that they don't know Poison Fang...

It was quite a scene, though. Sparks from all the Plus-Minus-Combos illuminating a whole lot of the corridor, the screeches of the Zubat Swarm omnipresent and LOUD. However, since Shiva already endured a direct Screech of Lucifer back in Winberry, she didn't minded them that much and took efforts to stay focused. In fact, she wasn't very afraid. There is no room currently to show weakness or fear, ad least of all is backing away an option. Not only because she had double Type Advantage with her rodents and - if needed - Kyuu on hand, but also because she was was pretty sure she spotted a Zubat that had an off green colour fleeing from them. There was no time to hunt for that one especially though, that'd be way too risky.

However, now that they activated a trap, she subliminally feared that they have been alreaady spotted by the Scimitars, but the fact that they had to deal with the swarm first prevented this thought from growing and occupying her mind.

If a Zubat would get too close to her or any of the other party members, Shiva will likely just slap it away with the Guidebook from Professor Mallorn or that one about Earth Lore, depending which one is heavier.

Her rodents were eeeeager to electrify some bats and their Master picked that up and responded with a smile that meant nothing good! "Alright, my dearest rodents... I see your spirits raising, so how about we fill the battlefield with stars and nuzzle a few bats? Go for it!" Oh, right, Shiva most likely will forget the fact that they're actually in a dangerous situation. Too fiered up now.

--------------------------
Orders for Plusle:

Accuracy Roll Swift1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Channel – 3 Actions = 4 D6
Accuracy Roll Swift2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Channel – 4 Actions = 3 D6
Accuracy Roll Swift3: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Channel – 5 Actions = 2 D6

Damage Roll: 4* Strength + 2 Power of move = 6 D6
Additional notes: Hits all foes, even if the Accuracy Roll fails. A Level-up in Channel is needed to pull off four Swifts.

---------------------------
Orders for Minun:

Accuracy Roll Nuzzle1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Allure – 3 Actions = 4 D6
Accuracy Roll Nuzzle2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Allure – 4 Actions = 3 D6
Accuracy Roll Nuzzle3: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Allure – 5 Actions = 2 D6

Damage Roll: 4* Strength + 1 Power of move + 1 STAB = 6 D6 + 1 auto-damage due to SE
Additional notes: ...or four actions in general. Also inflicts paralysis if hitting. Please aim for defeating Zubat B & C first to get first actions in battle onto our field.

(Also, my actions/orders most likely won't change unless something drastic happens - in which case please use common sense for reactions -, not only because I'll be off for bed now.)

The researcher slammed his hands over his ears to block out all the damn racket that the flock of these toxic winged rats were causing! 'Blast it, it had to be Zubats, didn't it? If the base was unaware of our prior activities, then that period of blissful ignorance has now ended! I just hope and pray Shiva doesn't panic over so many Poison types in these cramped quarters!' Ventus thought, glancing to his Pokémon as he tried to come up with a battle plan for through the dine! Lucifer was especially incessed by the presence of his lesser non-draconic relatives, while Raphael looked EXTREMELY nervous at facing off against so many venomous foes!

Base on these reactions, he quickly called out to them, his hoping his voice and his bond with them gets his message across! "Raphael, use After You on Grid and Froakie to bring his deadly power to the front, then use Growl to weaken them al! Lucifer, start savaging the flock with Bite attacks, and try to block Poison type attacks for Raphael! Both of you be quick, before they organize and gang up on us!"

Ventus also was going to swat any Zubat that got to close to him with a Strike attack, as he did NOT want to be poision or his life drained by these deadly pests. Hope for the best, expect the absolute worse, eh?

Order: Raphael will use After you on Grid (Spending a Willpoint on the first one to make sure it hits!) and Froakie in the first round of battle, then it will use Growl and Air Slash in the second round, and then Continue using Air Slash once per round, letting Lucifer block Poison attack for them. Lucifer will just use Bite twice per round on the faster Zubat (B) to hobble their effectiveness, and move down the line of Zubat from fast to slowest. Battle royale....start! Also leveling up Fight for 16 XP so that all my moves have greater accuracy!

Moves:

After You
Accuracy: DEX (2) + Fight (3) + Ediquette ? (Can I use Allure for this, since I literally don't have the this speciality on my page) - 2/3 Actions = (4 or 3) and (3 or 2) Accuracy [For the First After You and Second, respecitively
Effect: Moves selected Pokémon to top of ini; First After You is for Grid, and the Second is Froakie.
Note: Spending a Will Point to ensure that at least the First After You hits

Growl
Accuracy: Dex (2) + Fight (3) + Perfom (0) - 2 Actions = 3D6 Dice
Effect: Lower Attack of all Zubat by 1

Air Slash
Accuracy: DEX (2) + Fight (3) + Channel (2) - 3 Actions (For the Second Round, 0 for every round after Second) = 4D6 Dice for Second Round, 7D6 for every round after the Second
Damage: STR (*4) + 3 + STAB - Vitality (1 [Since they are wild]) = 7D6 Damage
Effect: *Flitch 3*

Bite
Accuracy: DEX (2) + Fight (3) + Brawl (2) - 2 Action/3 Actions = 5D6 and 4D6 Dice
Damage: STR (*4) + 2 + Dark Glasses - Vitality (1) = 6D6
Effect: *Flitch 3*

Nathan starts calling out orders immediately, his tone suddenly filled with determination!  He was NOT going to fall prey to a horde of Zubat!  "Starmie, Swift spam!  Grid, Electroweb spam!  Take them ALL out!"

Swift x3
Accuracy: 3 Dex + 3 Fight + 2 Canalize - 3/4/5 Actions = 5/4/3 D6
Damage: 3 Strength + 2 Plus + 2 Power - 1 Defense? = 6 D6
Effect: Never misses.  Hits all foes

Electroweb x3
Accuracy: 3 Dex + 3 Fight + 2 Canalize + 1 Compound Eyes - 3/4/5 Actions = 6/5/4
Damage: 3 Strength + 2 Power + 1 STAB - 1 Defense? + 1 SE = 5 D6 + 1 Damage
Effect: Lowers all foes' Dex by 1

I'll change the numbering of the Zubats so it makes more sense.

Zubat Swarm Round 1

Nuzzle
(4)(4)(6)(1) Hit
(6)(1)(4)(3)(5) +1 A ZubatA faints. But this battle is just beginning.

Swift
(5)(1)(4)(2)(3) hit
(5)(4)(5)(6)(6)(1) All ZubatB faints. Starmie destroys an entire squadron of Zubats, the stars bouncing between four of the bats.

Feint Attack
5 dice, -2 multiple actions = 3 dice
(3)(5)(6) hit
3 Str + 2 power +1 STAB -1 vit = 5 dice
(6)(4)(4)(3)(4) Another ZubatA faints, 2/4 bats

Allure sounds good for After You. Etiquette is a silly specialty.
After You
(3)(4)(3)(1) Will point spent, Init changed.
I'm not sure how to apply this in such a complex initiative order; i'll just have Grid go immediately after Togekiss and then move to top. A combination of how it works on Gameboy and in Pokerole.

Electroweb
(4)(4)(1)(4)(3)(6)
(1)(2)(6)(5)(4) All ZubatC faint. The effects of the web, lowering Dex, applies to Zubat A as they come slinging in to fight; so Shiva's Pokemon and Lucifer have time to strike first.

Swift
(5)(2)(2)(2) Hit
(4)(4)(5)(6)(6) All ZubatA faint.

Bite
(5)(3)(4)(3)(2)
(5)(5)(3)(2)(3)(2) A ZubatD takes 2 dmg. 3 healthy bats remain.

Bubble
(6)(3)(5)(1)
3 Str + 2 power +1 STAB -1 vit +2 Minus = 7 dice
(3)(1)(6)(6)(4)(6)(5) Froakie eliminates the last of the Zubats with a POP of his bubble!

Zubat Swarm soundly defeated! Each Pokemon gains 3XP, and each trainer gains 5XP (including Heroism bonus).

But what's this? Shiva and Ventus find Zubats coming up behind them, threatening to get in their hair.

Shivastrike
(5)(5)(4)(6)(4) Critical hit
2 Str +1 power = 3 dice +2 crit -1 vit = 4 dice
(4)(5)(4)(6) Best Strike ever. Zubat Vanguard faints as Shiva thumps it with the heavy book.

Ventustrike
(5)(6)(5)(5)(6) Wow
(5)(2)(3)(2) Ventus stabs at the bat with his weapon, and tears its wing. It flaps off again.

Looks like there are still pockets of Zubats on all sides: Hanging from the walls, hiding in crevices, flying around in the ceiling, or hidden in things!
