Just for kicks and giggles, here's the definition of an argument:

1. an exchange of diverging or opposite views, typically a heated or angry one.

2. a reason or set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong.

I'd say this fits the definition.

Well then, thank you, Nathan. After that Guards pissed her off hard, she is actually rather willing to fight them, so she's on Ven's side and will follow him, screw any logic.

Nathan's willing to fight them too if it comes down to it, he's just trying to be smart about it, that's all.  Now just isn't the time nor the place.

Doesn't sound to me at all like he's willing to fight them, so it will be the same for Shiva herself. Professor Mallorn won't kill us if we take our time, why all this rushing?

Two of the main reasons he's also continuing his self appointed mission is to hunt for food for Apsis AND visit that location Shiva wants to go to, so its not just the entrance he wants to fry. Its just a particularly important one.

Key words were if it comes down to it.  At the moment, he doesn't want to fight them unless he has to (though a potential association with Almanac is...rather stimulating, to say the least).  As for the rushing...well, why don't you ask Nathan?

Yes, if you ask him why the rush, and he explains things to both Ven and Shiva, it might persuade them to follow along and not do That Which You Consider A Pointless Waste Of Time. Or at least Ventus, if they speak calmly and clearly about it.
