[Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels
Speaking of going out in a blaze of glory, those Heat Waves are probably the last good shot at evening the odds here a little (without having to scrap the encounter and start from scratch). Gallade and/or Metagross going down would be VERY helpful to making this fight more manageable. That, and getting those Imprisons off to make sure Disable, Confuse Ray, and Grudge can't be used to obliterate our ability to fight back.

And since Kyubi got those Imprisons off on the sly, I'm going to laugh if Romeo and Juliet try to use those moves not knowing they've been Imprisoned Tongue Confuse Ray was a little more obvious, unfortunately, but oh well :/

That...took forever to get type up and doubled checked, but its doubtless I have mess up in some particular way in this big post of mine. At the very least, Metagross is down, and Garvedour is a little over half way their , but Gallade is STILL a massive problem. If anything, it just means he's going to be particularly broken in Nathan's hands when he finally gets his mitts on a Dawn Stone, hehehe! Time to break out the literal big guns on him?

Your dice are really spectacularly cursed, man :/  They better not backfire this time with Mamudo Eclipse's damage pool.

Also, two rather big errors ya made: you forgot the extra point of Defense from the alcohol (but following Iron's ruling on his dice pool mistakes, Arbok still got KOed :/ ).  Fire also resists Steel, which means Kyubi is actually on 1 HP since she had 3 HP when Shadow Sneak was used (and yes, also following Iron's ruling on his dice pool mistakes, she's on 1 HP).

Well, I am called by some as 'Bad Luck Incarnate' , due to the sheer amount of misfortune that I generate for all around me, but I've been using going on Triple Blessed Lucky Dice, and they STILL crap out on you. I'm going to throw them away now, since they are apparently to tainted by either my luck or a higher demon, and break out a fresh new set of D6s and hope for the best.

I consider Item buffs = Move buff in that case when calcing Defense, but I guess that was stupid since it modied YOUR scores, which then moded the rest of your Pokemon's, so I'll make change things around. The Fire typing resisting Steel is something I just plain forgot, so I WILL change things around. I'm going to bed really soon, though, so don't feel like rushing out a post right now. I'll make edits, then go to sleep for the return trip to home tomorrow. Night, mate!

Re-did the specified numbers, and gave Kyubi her third Heat Wave, but it crapped out with Snake eyes . And these were brand new dice. Are you SURE my dice are cursed , or has your luck rebelled against you in this battle???

I've got one argument that might save that attack: at -3 pain, Kyubi's accuracy pool is 3 Dex + 4 Fight + 2 Canalize + 1 Alcohol - 5 Actions - 3 Pain - 1 Accuracy = 1 D6.  Remove those 1s and we're golden for the third Heat Wave (and since the 6 was rolled first, that's what would happen by Iron's ruling). Gonna have to test my luck with the damage instead.

Yeah, Gallade and Gardevoir are pretty tough cookies to handle type-wise.  Gardevoir is really only really vulnerable to Steel and Ghost (since Poison is weak to Psychic), and can handle those with Focus Blast and Shadow Ball.  Gallade, meanwhile, is only vulnerable to Flying, Ghost, and Fairy, and can handle them with Stone Edge, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Shadow Sneak, Night Slash, and Poison Jab.  Fighting and Fairy both do an excellent job of complementing Psychic, and they have just enough coverage to handle their weaknesses incredibly well.

Though as far as Nathan's concerned, it's gonna be awhile before Kirlia is THAT powerful.  Need a TM, tutor, or 59 EXP for CC if I want fighting STAB at all on Gallade, which is an unfortunate downside for the species (at least it's not as bad as Alolan Marowak in Sun and Moon though.  All its good physical STAB moves with the exception of Flare Blitz are learned at lower levels than when it evolves.  And the only way A-Marowak can have any STAB at all before it learns Flare Blitz or gets help from the move reminder is from Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, and Fire Blast TMs.  Gallade can at least learn TMs that it can utilize rather well since physical fighting moves are common).

We also have no idea when he's going to get that Dawn Stone in the first place.  Though since we have the Neverstone, Kirlia could venture into Gardevoir territory if he didn't want to fall behind the rest of the team in relative power levels while we wait to obtain that evolutionary stone...would also give him access to a few moves that Gardevoir can learn that Gallade can't normally.  Misty Terrain sounds like fun (though it's an egg move for Ralts as well as a level up move for Gardevoir), as do Wish (17 exp in place of Lucky Chant, which only Kirlia can learn) and Moonblast (this one's a whopping 85 exp though...yeesh...).

Well, Heat Wave 3 did zlitch to M. Garvedour, but it completely cancenled out Gallade's HP regen from Drain Punch, so killing it with Mamudo Eclipse will be much easier! The gun can't miss, so its literally you best shot at taking him out before they butcher Kyubi and begin mind melting you! Take you shot, and FIRE!

Man, I cant believe my King was going down so easily D: Freeze in place and be knock out. That cursed dices! Okay, I know we agreed to not use, but can you use a Max Revive in Xenoqueen Dragon? We need FULL power now since we all out of options. I will use my Super in Kyubi and you use the Max Revive in Xenoqueen. We must bring the bigger guns to defeat both of that crazy family since our two Megas if deafeated. And Xenoqueen can scare that family.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.

Shouldn't be any need to.  Arial doesn't know Reiner has a literal gun, after all, and Gardevoir doesn't stand much of a chance by herself against Reiner's remaining pokemon (in theory).
