[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins

Thank you! (Why 'almost Psychic?' I have Kyuu [Espurr] for STAB Confusion...) I feel like Shiva has a real chance to win with the now refined Stats and Pokemon, even with Sunny Day not working indoors. I only hinted it towards the others in-game and none reacted, so the revelation has yet to come...

So since I can't reasonably have Nathan learn about the full situation (currently), coincidental relations are gonna have to do.  And I'm sure this is probably going to come back to haunt Ventus later, since the Rangers are bound to notice that destruction eventually.  And Ventus seems to have angered the Voice of Life itself or something :/

That's eventually up for Iron to decide. For long, Braixen will hate Ventus to bits for good reasons - but never attacking him due to his Master not allowing it and Shiva's calculations whether there is anything special at the spot will always turn out that there isn't... The Voice themselves or their kin won't ever speak to Ven again, they said so by themselves.

He shall not destroy Shiva because she's magic. :C
If I order Braixen to cast a Lucky Chant and Ventus happens to be around, he'll be affected as well. Good for him. I wonder if Ven feels any regret by Shiva acting so affectionate for him at return, while he actively destroyed a place she held dear and he knew that...

Nathan's shoulders do droop a little regardless...

They're both pretty quick to slip away from that and sit down at a different table, both of them looking rather glum still...

Lol, Kirlia knows before Shiva even feels a single butterfly?
Ah, I didn't mean to discomfort Nathan THAT much. Sorry for that...

Psychic/Fairy type and he evolves from the definition of an empathic pokemon.  If Shiva doesn't even care about what's going on around her, Kirlia's gonna pick up on things pretty quickly.

And unfortunately, that means Nathan also finally picks up on a little of it even without Kirlia's help...though atm, this is mostly just reminding him of how lonely he's been feeling lately...

Even an empathic Pokemon has quite a hard time if any chance at all to pick up things that are only subliminally sprouting just yet.

I never said how Kirlia is actually interpreting it.  Just that he picked up on those feelings really easily.  Conclusions can be drawn based on what is already unmistakably there, after all. And assumptions can be made based on what's been seen as well.

Sounds agreeable. But even if, Kirlia likely couldn't care less... Selfish love of his, remember?

He cares mostly about Nathan, yes.  But this is clearly something Nathan cares a great deal about, so it warrants Kirlia's attention.  If Nathan didn't care, Kirlia wouldn't either.

(I'll take a battle as my slot. If Ventus or someone else wants to stop Valder the time is now.)

We're actually trying to leave Wineberry ASAP (sorry, forgot to mention that part before), so if you wanted to do that, it'd have to be either before Ventus returns or after we leave town.  I recommended training for the morning slot because it's nice and easy to quickly slot in without holding up the game, and you still get some experience out of it unlike doing nothing.
