Neat. Things happened so fast that Shiva had to take efforts to keep the pace.
First, the chanting calmed her, killing off any remains from the shock over the Nidoran-Encounter.
Second, Braixen absolutely disliked being hit by a shiny earthy beam.
Next, Xiani darted out like a madwoman collecting green petals. Couldn't blame her, though.
Then, Cottonee disliked being hit by cutting air.
Last. the fire in her magical fox burned hot. It wasn't visible for an outsider, it was more a feeling, one that plays with the connection between Master and Pokemon.

There was a hint of fear in Shiva's voice. No fear of loosing the battle, but fear for her Pokemon. Okay, a little of the first if one listened closely. "Alright... Cottonee, change of the plan! Begin to drain the life out of that cat. Sorry for the cutting air, but please stay strong! You, Braixen, make use of the fire burning in you and TOTALLY GO FOR IT! You can do that, I know..."


Orders for this round: Cottonee wil begin to Mega Drain the life out of Persian, while Braixen will bring down Woobat with a Blaze-Powered Ember, 1 Willpoint is used to ensure the move hits. He'll likely go down within Round 2 (if not, Ember on Persian is it!) , but I at least want the bat out of the fight to make things easier for Cottonee.

Cottonee just stared at the cat. The cat stared back. "Besides... it's nice how you seem to have Persian under good control. How did you do that? Their species doesn't just obey anyone, especially the Alola-Form. You heard of that one?"

That battle also began to exhaust Shiva, but for now there is no time to show weakness. She only shortly regained her will.

Orders for this round: Cottonee will continue MegaDraining the vitality out of Persian THREE times per Round, until either one is out of the fight or something happens that needs my immediate intercetption. Depending on her now!

Nathan nods, then checks the time on his pokedex.  "Well, my traveling companions should be here soon.  Once they get here, we can do introductions and move on."

Hmmmm...introductions..."Oh, right, I never gave you my name, did I? It's Nathan.  Nathan Warren.  Pleasure to meet ya."  He looks over at Swiftfire afterwards, who's finished munching on the gourmet food.  "You feeling a little better now, girl?"

At the word 'performer', Shiva listened up closely. Not only because that interested her in general, but also because she still has the suspicion that Azurill belonged to either a performer or an illusionist. But that's a different story...

"So...? What uses or her energy did you find? Battle, or something other than that?"

Before Shiva could say any more word though, Cottonee turned around to face her Master, waited until she got eye contact with her, then darted out only to run into Shiva, knocking her down to lay backwards on the flower field with the fluffball on her. It happened way too fast that Shiva could do anything to cushion the fall. (Dunno, want to roll Damage, Iron?) "Ouch... My, what was THAT for, dear one?... Oh... You saw how I sprayed some stuff onto Braixen, and he immediately felt better afterwards? You want that too? Alright... But first please get down from me..."

Cottonee did as asked, rather delighted over things. She's a prankster and will be even more as she evolves, not even Master seems to be safe from her playfulness! Sitting upright and drawing another Potion from bagpack, Cottonee gets back to 5/6HP, before he is ordered to (hopefully) finish the battle with one last Mega Drain. "Your foe's weak, dear one. Finish things please, and make even Master proud~ Wouldn't have found those green petals if you hadn't stir them up, after all."

Aww! She called her 'honey'! This caused a coy smile and a warm feeling from Shiva. "Of course we'll see one another in Ginger Town!~ Me and some others are on the way to reach town, and I have errands to run there. As for...The Running..." Her expression amd smile faded just a little, "You will be there as the Healer, will you? Take good care of the participans, okay? I would love to watch it by myself, but if I'm very honest... I'm somewhat scared of it. Maybe it's better to stay inside the Center if you desire to be safe and well, does it?"

As soon as they parted ways (if Xiani has nothing more to say after answering Shiva, that is), Shiva was just about to withdraw Cottonee into her Pokeball... When the fluffball darted out again only to pounce into her Master. This time though she was prepared, and didn't fall backwards on the impact of a wad of cotton that was indeed soft and fluffy, but there was quite the strength in the small Pokemon if needed. Or if not needed and just for playful shenanigans. Shiva replied to Cottonee seemingly looking for affection with a warm soft adorable cuddle that Ventus could only dream of.

"Haha... Yeah, thank you for battling for me in the first place... I love you too. You did rather well against that cat. ... Oh, you want to stay outside with me? Alright... Let's go and find the others then, okay?" Dusting of her clothes, Shiva began her way back to the Main Path and away from the place that brought a blasted poisonous Nidoran as well as the encounter of a Healer on a Ponyta looking for green petal flowers. But not before picking up a daisy and attatching it in her hair that still had a few petals in it as well finding a Blue Star to gift one of its flowers to Cottonee. Nothing would be able to stand in the way between fairylike nerd and mischievous fluffball . Started when Professor Mallorn handed her Cottonee as Startermon, those two created a bond that will continue evermore and only get sronger over time.

She almost forgot that they agreed on 300$ for the one who ended up victorious on the battle. Shiva accept it quite thankfully as Xiani brought that up again and handed the notes to her, but now to think about it... She felt rather rich with the current money she had. Her family was weathly with her father's business running good and her mother stocking up on budget by her job at the Medal Office (they pay well!), but Shiva never really cared that much about money until she had to look how to get by on her own in Chreshire. Now, she not only had more than enough for her desired Breeder's Lisence, but also enough to buy a Pokedex from Professor Mallorn... But, not now. Better save that money, even if the desire for her own Pokedex was still there, if only subliminal.

Keeping Cottonee close to her in her arms or floating beside her (as the fluffball desired), Shiva soon found the Main Path back.

Mechanics:
I'll leave it open to the others/at Gamemaster's discretion who she will run into first. If it's Ventus, they might head to Nathan together; but since he doesn't like being around League Officials, he can tell her what to tell Nathan. If it's Nathan, Ventus might spot them from a distance and send a text. If it's Valder, well, she'd be amazed how strong he became meanwhile!
