[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole
Most of the businesses, including the Pokemart, have rear entrances that are still accessible. Some of them have set up barriers on the Main Street side, attesting that Nathan's warning is at least partially true.

Trading and such can be done at the campground or at the Pokemon Center.

Kory takes a while to find, but he's around! He's camping out with his young Skiddo. He's focused on his stretches so you'll get the first word, Nathan.

Mallorn will be here tomorrow.

The Daycare is open but not attending the Running. As you may recall, it is out of town near Vapor Falls.

Xiani says, "Haha, oh hey, Shiva! Fancy RUNNING into you here! I found juuuust enough green petaled Bindewort for the medicines I expect to need in the Running, unless it's a particularly rough one. Ponyta is for running quickly up and down Main Street's borders, then I can hop the fence and get to injured people. I don't Run myself."

Nathan approaches fairly cautiously.  He doesn't interrupt until there's a brief pause in the stretches.  He's annoyed Kory one too many times before by startling him mid-stretch...

"Well, you certainly look as fit as you always do, Kory.  Which charity you running for this year?"

"Yo, hey Nathan. T.O.R.C.H.I.C this year - same as usual. The only charity we have a chapter of up in Trillium. How are you? How's your mom? Gonna Run this year? I know there's still slots open."

He sighs.  "Things...could be a little better, to be honest.  Mom's doing fine, though.  Actually, scratch the first thing I said. Things could be a LOT better...you know what my opinion of this event is.  And I've got a really bad feeling about this year...which is exactly why I'm probably going to end up participating in it one way or another, whether I like it or not..."

"Hm. What are you going to do if you don't participate? Just watch? Do some camping? Hey, I'll go on a hike with you - there's trails."

(Lol. I'll keep the colour for easier detecting and reading.)

Hearing that Xiani won't run herself eased a lot in Shiva. More than she actually expected.  Hug intensifies before carefully distangeling!

"I don't have the physical strenght, determination and endurance to paricipate by myself either, nor am I interested in it, so that was enough running for me~ However, it's nice to hear you found enough ingredients for the desired meds. However... Now that you mention it..." The former delighted smile faded a little, only to be replaced with a somewhat thoughtful expression while facing those athletics that seem OVERY eager to participate and do their best. It took a little before she actually spoke up. "If there were particular rough Runs... They're blocking the streets off, creating safety bounderies and similar... There'll be rare Pokemon to see and possibly catch, but nevertheless I somehat fail to understand why they are hosting an event that can seemingly be so dangerous and mess up the town itself, plus all these people seem to rejoice over it and are filled with delighted anticipation... Is it some sort of tradition here in Ginger Town, same as the Festival?"

Given that IF Shiva will be accepted as trainee at the Daycare at some point and likely reside in Ginger Town in that case, that question is actually not that off-track.

Ventus arose early in the morning, crawling out of the coils of Apsis (Who had several as both his sentinel and improptu sleeping bag) and conducting some rather vigorous stretching to get his day started off right. It had been quite some time since he had sleep on bare earth and exposed to the elements, and his body was quite vocal about the change, smarting and feeling sore for him truly roughing it! 'Oh dear....I've become spoilt by Center beds and tent if a simple night out causes me this degree of discomfort! Perhaps I should try to settle back into my old outdoors man habits and see if I inure myself to the wilds once, as I did frequently with my old field researching days at the University. If nothing else, Apsis seems to enjoy resting under the open air and the space to strentch out more, so getting back in practice would be worth it,' the researcher though, making breakfast for himself and Valder and savoring what little peace he would have before he would enter Ginger Town.

His regal snake let out a groggy, displeased *hisss...* as she was woken up well before her liking by her master's early bird habits, before they went out into the field around their campsite to hunt some the early rising Pidgies  and Caterpies for a few hours. Later on, her master crept up along side her to assist in nabbing all the prey she could stomach at one time, delighting her with his presence and his ability to help ferret out the more elusive hiding from her keen senses. Since they were returning to Ginger Town once more for who knows how long, holed up in that stuffy Pokemon Center while her master, she wanted nothing more than to gorge herself on all the warm, squirming wildlife while she can, before another lean period sets in!

Given that he was purposefully staggering his progress to avoid contanct with the Shield lady, the researcher arrived into town later than the others, and almost immediately let out a weary, disappointed sigh upon seeing the constellation of League Officials and the Bureaucrat meandering around the vacated streets. "*Sigh* Well, my research and sporting designs for the Running have been fitfully traquilized and put to uncomfortable rest. I best make my way to the Pokémon Center and begin recording my latest observation, before the possibility that something goes atroiciously amiss magnifies even more," the sociologist said to himself, disgruntled and displeased worst predictions becoming the Truth. Once he was done with his brief fit of fumming, Ventus returned Apsis to his Pokeball (Giant Viscous Snakes were still unpopular among the average citizen, for some reason...) and started to make his way to the center when he spotted something else that put him in a much better mood: Tramp and Belle, along with their resourceful Pokémon! The empath quickly made his way over to them, and euthusiatically greeting them with his characteristic warm joyfulness.

"Salutations and great blessing from Reshirim, my old friends! Its been ages since we last meet, so would you care to inform me as to what you have been up too in these past few weeks? My journey with my own group has certainly been an experience of its own, and I would be more than happy to recount some of the more wild event for all of you!"

Order: Conversation time with the Trax Group! Ventus certainly remembers the generosity and kindness, and since their doesn't seem to be much in the way related to small jobs outside of the Running (And I want to save up his Poke for the time being), he might as well spend some telling yarns with them! That, and he just wants to make sure that they are doing alright, of course!

"Well, yes, it is a tradition. I come here every year from Corsage Port. BUT, it's not Ginger Town's choice to make! The Pokemon come Running whether you like it or not, down from Mt. Molten, at approximately the same time every year. Supposedly something agitates them, or they sense some cycle in the nature of the planet."

"If Ginger Town didn't prepare for the Running, funneling Pokemon through one particular street, putting up safety measures, fortifying the Route Gates, having staff on hand... the whole town would be chaos."

Tramp: "Camping out here is great! It's probably a more chaotic place than the Running grounds, haha! Mr. Mime puts up Barriers to keep the completely drunken idiots out. But he lets in friends, so welcome, welcome!"

Belle: "We got a special order for a bit of Moomoo Milk in case some Pokemon needs a lot of treatment. Miltank will probably be on the roof of the Center during the Running. She likes high places. Well, what rare Pokemon have you seen in your journey?"
