[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Ventus was already sitting in the lobby at a table far away from the group's usual spot and Dr. Mallorn's , but close enough that his sharp hearing could pick up on what they were all saying. He had set up shop here and originally was going to wait until Nathan and Shiva had returned to the Center safe and sound, before heading off to bed, but this was just as good of an opportunity as any to keep a feel on the pulse of things, as it stood. The empath was very careful not to give anything away about himself or draw suspicion by keeping to himself for the most part, so hopefully none of them cotton on to his presence/easedropping, one way or another...

The guy was sitting next to professor Mallorn was a tall person with white skin. He have black brown eyes like chocolate and a black, and a pretty messed black hair, as if he had not combed it for days! He have too a blue shirt with the name PUNisher in the front of the shirt. Have too blue jeans and red slippers. That bizarre person is the joker trainer, Heart.

"Finally I could get this wonderfull Axew. Both Pokemon and deodorant."

"Get it? Axe. Axew?" Say Heart showing the deodorant to do his joke. "Anyway, where I need to go Prof?"

[Iron]

(Ventus, this is still Wednesday, sometime in the evening. You can be here, I just wanted to make sure you understood it wasn't the morning of the Running just yet."

"Well, Heart, that concludes our business. I've got your form for the Shelter for Disobedient Pokemon, I've got your payment, we're all set, boss! If I were you, I wouldn't leave Ginger Town until the Running is over, so you get a chance to watch! Could even catch a rare Pokemon - I'd love to get a Tauros!"

"Oh, hey! Look who the Caterpie dragged in. Heart, let me introduce you to Shiva, Nathan, and possibly Valder...he's always lurking in the background. You'll know him when I see him. Where's Ventus? Oh well. Heart, these three are traveling Creshire, earning Gym Badges, catching Pokemon, and solving mysteries! If your paths lie together, boss, perhaps they'll let you join if you ask nicely! I don't want to speak for them though."

"So, I'm supposed to pick up some Castaclay, right?"

"Solving mysteries? I remember watching a show when I was a kid about a coward dog who solve mysteries with teenagers. Welp, hi everyone. Names Heart. Traveler. Collector of rare Pokemon. And also collector of Pokemon jokes. Its nice to know you all."

Then he heard about that running. "Pokemon Running? What is this event?"

At the mentioning of 'where is Ventus', Shiva's expression got...downcasted and slightly embarrased. Please no reminders on the scene at the camp... "Uhmmm... I tried to find him, he should know we wanted to meet up with you, Professor, but he was nowhere to be found. All I can do is plainly hope that he is fine and alright."

Concerning that person listening to the name of...'Heart' supposedly, the first thing Shiva picked up that his hair looked even more messed up than hers. Either he was careless since SHE brushed through it at least once a day and it just gets untidy nevertheless, or he leaves it like that on purpose. Eh, anyway... She's friendly and respectful towards him for now at least, and gives him a coy yet adorable welcoming smile and shy wave. "Yeah, welcome... You already heard my name from Professor Mallorn. I'm not much of a battler per se and mostly train Psychic and Fairy Types, so... Eh, I hope we'll get along."

However, at hearing 'Collector of rare Pokemon', Shiva was all ears and finally faced Heart directly from the rim of her glasses, stopping her midway on drawing that Castaclay-thing from her bagpack. "Oh, really? From what region do you come from?"

"Well, I dont come from any Region, I simple travel between Regions. But I came for little time from Unova to find any interesting Dragon-type Pokemon like Axew. A little disobedient, but I think we will get along. But I have other good mons with me too. I simple cant release then yet. Just waiting to do something. All I can say they are three pokemon with fire, water and ghost very rare. So wait your heart for it!" He chuckle about the pun. "Get it? Heart."

She was totally unimpressed by the joke/pun, only giving him a raised eyebrow. Living up to the print on his shirt already, huh? Well, as long as it does not get hurtful or distasteful to her, it'll be alright.

"Eh, you have to come from somewhere, you cannot tell me that you were born on somewhere else than this planet. Unless it's a rare and top-secret region we shall not know about... Uhm, anyway. Axew, huh? They're pretty popular where I come from and only found at certain spots there. Take good care of it... Haxorus are known to be very agressive if not tamed properly." Both Bosses of the Battle Subway were known to use this species, she knew what she was talking about. No first-handed exerience though, better not.

Shiva was also not afraid by the decleration of him owning a hard-to-train Dragon Type, given she has her Fairies. Oooold spats between physical strength of the dragon and the magical power of a fairy.

Resuming drawing mentioned item now."Indeed, Professor... there you go." After looking around whether none's whatching that should better not see this and/or the item, Shiva was placing at first the mason jar containing the weird putty in the unhealthy colour onto the table followed by the matching apparature, before carefully sliding over both to Professor Mallorn, having...mixed feelings to let go of this item. Some honest part in her wished to keep the loot for no other reason than collector's feels, but her head and mind told her that it's the better option to hand it to someone who can analyze it and find out what this thing actually is.

"As said, I found that in what strongly looked like a lab down in the Scimitar's Base on a workbank, plugged. Alongside a real TM, by the way!" Again mixed feelings, partly overjoyment over the obtaining of it, partly shivering over it containing THE Poison move. Since she haven't told this anyone so far, Nathan and likely Ventus hear about this for the first time as well. Nothing of her mixed feelings were visible outside though, she kept up a neutral and friendly expression.

"Please take good care of it. In case you find out what it actually is and what purpose this whole apparature has, please contact us, alright? At least me an interested in what you can tell about it."

"You bet, boss! I'll know more about it in no time! Anything else?"

Nathan's similarly unimpressed by this newcomer's jokes.  He doesn't really comment on him at all in fact.  Why were so many of the travelers he was meeting from Unova, though?

"Castaclay, Shiva.  That's what it's called, and it's a tool for forcing pokemon to devolve.  However...you also got a TM?  Which one?"

Ventus, unlike everyone else in the group its seems, actually enjoyed the newcomer's 'punderful' jokes, and had to stifle his laughter so that he everyone wouldn't start looking his way. 'Ah...those are Ice puns of his, though they seem to be Not Very Effective with Shiva or Nathan, given the cool reception they were giving him. Oh well, even if he's not Flattering them with his gut Tickling jokes, he'll always find a call of 'Encore' from me when appropreite. ...His skill with word play are not as fine as my brother's, though, sadly. *Sigh* I miss him so much...' he though, suddenly feeling a bit of heartache as his new friend's performance gave him a bit of heartache. It soon passes, though, and the disguised researcher is back to listening in on the gather's conversation at hand. Shiva picking up a TM at the Scimitar at the base was a surprise, and he was wondering just what it could be himself....
