You can shout a Yawn command, and you'll be close enough next encounter.

We'll just assume Yawn works. Although I'm not 100% sure it should work on a fainted Pokemon, just with common sense?

I want at least the opportunity to catch one of them, you know!

What do you want to do with it if you successfully catch it then, Windos? Trade it away probably, since you seemingly only want to catch it so it doesn't cause trouble?

If I can catch the darn thing, I'll send a PM to Iron asking what I can exactly get for it, be it TMs, Items, Poke, a specific Pokémon, or whatever else my fever brain can conjure. I still have 3 other Pokeball (2 Regular, 1 Flash I got way back in the past for dubious means), so its not a total lost cause if the Great Ball fisses out!

Hmm... sounds fair enough. Problem, is I cannot really ask Ventus for the Absol if he finds nothing worthy to trade for it because I exlicitely did not tell Ventus what species the Infiltrator-Pokemon of the Daycare Mission is (I checked) and I'd prefer if he doesn't know.

Ventus and Shiva see the lone Absol perched atop the barrier, like a cat. It looks straight at Ventus and scowls. Then it leaps over the barrier and starts running east! (and yep, Ventus sees this - Absol is no longer cloaked by dust and chaos). After just a few steps, it looks back to see if Nathan is following.

Running east...? Oh no.... The Daycare is east... I am in there... Now I fear a little for my safety.

Ventus is SO going to interfere with Nathan's carefully laid plans (Unless Iron pins me down/prevents that possibility). He made a promise to support/shield him, and by golly he's going to do so! Things are going to get....interesting.

If you consider going over to capture the Absol the 3rd or 4 possible encounters that Ventus could have in the Running, then he did pretty well all things considered! Avoided a bad type match up, caught a Tauros for Dr. Mallorn, and even an Absol for his lucrative trading prospects. Rather nice performance all in all, thought I wish the Absol didn't bolt right away. Ventus could have had another chance or two to try and get a Tropius for Shiva, but oh well!

PM inbound as to what can be gotten for Absol, @Iron!
