During a sparring match, you could definitely still use the moves Strike (does a small amount of nonlethal damage) or Knockback (applies a -1 penalty to accuracy rolls until they get up) or Grapple (Blocks the target, and also causes a Strength vs Strength roll for dominance).

Axew will use his own stats.

Axew Round 1

Heart decides to let Axew fight first since he want to demonstrate his strengh to the Pokemon. Arial decides in the right moment Axew attack, he will Grapple, and fight a battle of Strengh vs Strengh. He may loose, but he still going to do that. Then decides to use Strike two times to give some good damage against Koa.

The bird seems to understand - it's not a strong-willed Pokemon, so it's far less likely to lose any Loyalty or Happiness in such a quick trade.

Porygon comes out of the trade machine, bathed in the green light of ones and zeros. And...is that a two?

With a sound like a diving Talonflame, Porygon-Z emerges triumphantly from the technology! The Dubious Disc, now blank, hangs on a virtual gold chain around the Glitch Pokemon's neck.

Porygon-Z's behavior is really erratic, especially when it glimpses the party. Who knows what strange, unknowable things it is seeing in the extra dimensions to which it is privy? It's not something Porygon knows how to share...nor something you'd want to know if you could. The Pokemon zooms around Nathan's head, cooing. Its eyes blink in spirals. The nearby PC makes a funny noise and changes its wallpaper to an image of a Froakie riding a Frogadier riding a Greninja.

Nathan will have to be careful about the extra strange electromagnetic radiations from Porygon's new form.

Insanity is bliss, they say - Porgyon-Z gains 1 Happiness.

Axew Round 1

Axew decides to abide by the terms of the contest, for now. He starts by simply knocking over his trainer with a move like a Headbutt.

Dmg: 3* Str - 3vit = 1 dice minimum

From the floor, Heart tackles Axes around the waist.

Axew is not physically stronger than Heart! Even a Scratch attack deals more damage than any of Heart's combat maneuvers, but as far as raw physical strength is concerned, the bigger Heart proves the stronger.

Axew grunts. Some of his cockiness is shaken.

Koa decides that he can get his master off of him by simply beating him over the head with his tusks and fists.

Humans are also bigger than most Pokemon and get more HP.

Axew Round 3

Ventus, well prepared for the chaotic insanity that clings to a Porygon Z like static charge to wool, sticks his hands into his satchel and withdraw a few pieces of paper, each of the holding several dozen fine sketches of Skitty, Meowth, Purrlieon, and various other fluffy and adorable cat Pokémon playing together and doing the cutest things imaginable, and waved them invitidly over in its direction. "Oh Porgyon Z, if you restrain those EMPs of yours and get them under control around the sensitive equipment here, I'll happily bequithed these images to you, and give you a vitual copy of all the other Cat Pokémon Pictures I've made/collected. What do you say?" the researcher says, all in perfect Binary. From his time around his fellow researcher's Porgon, he knew EXACTLY how to handle the semi-glitching solidgram.

Order: Try to bribe Porygon Z to stop corrupting all the electronic in the vicinity? Don't know if it'll work, but Ven has to try something to prevent the Center from being bricked by a newly formed entity of digital havoc!

Porygon-Z Uploads the cat pictures into his internal memory and buzzes to himself about them. Even Ventus isn't sure what's going on in his mind, but it sure seems to make him happy.

He retreats a few feet from all the tech in the room.

My days at the University taught me a variety of things, and how to properly draw detailed picture of the various species of Pokémon was just another skill I acquired. Not that I'm bragging, of course, its just something that came naturally with all the research I've done," he replied to Shiva, before withdrawing a burner flashdrive that contained nothing but the highest quality Cat Pokémon Pictures and Videos, and tossed it over to the glitchly digiduck. They kept their side of the bargin by not bricking all the life saving equipment here, so he would keep his in turn. The empath just hopes that he didn't step over the line by bribing Nathan's Pokémon, though...
