That frown very, very quickly turns into a chuckle.  Well, how about that...looks like getting frozen wasn't going to be an issue for Shiva after all.  He hadn't known Shiva had a Cherubi with Sunny Day.  Looks like everyone on the battlefield was on thin ice now.  Quite literally, in fact...

Kirlia's much more active than Nathan is, and it's very obvious he's cheering Shiva on in Nathan's stead.  Swiftfire's loving the sunny weather, and is quite content with just lazing around in the rays.  And Porygon-Z, well...hmmm...

Porygon Z zips over to check out how the door works. Shiva yells for Nathan to call the digiduck back, in case he sends it on the fritz! She needs that steady supply of sunlight.

For a moment, it looked as if Shiva chance of winning were being ordained by the Kyurem the Null frigid judgement, but when she sent out Cherub and intensified the power of the radiant sun, Ventus knew that his dear friend was not out of the fight just yet! "Excellent job counter countering Zamboni's gelid graps, and bolstering the overall effectiveness of your Pokémon offense and defense! Keep up applying pressure and heat to his Ice types, and they were surely shatter and melt under your whimsical might! Anything is possible for you, my friend, so I know you can overcome all the trails he place in your way, so persevere and triumphantly claim victory! You can do it!" he said, cheering with every ounce of vibrant energy he could muster, to make up for his egregious silence earlier!

Abaddon was waving his arms around and letting out encouraging warbbling cries to the nice lady friend of his master, while Michael was pumping his arms and legs and letting out a determined cry of his own, trying to channel his own vigorous fighting spirt into her! Hanael, meanwhile, simply gave her an encouraging smile, as she acted like a living heating element to keep everyone around her nice and toasty! The lava camel might be a bit thick headed at times, but that doesn't mean she unethusiatic by any means; she just takes things slower than most!

Neat, if there was one thing Shiva was not used to, then it was that much attention and cheering. Now to think about it, she could have handed either Ven or Nathan her Electric rodents for even more support, but now it was too late for that. In return for that, a compliment directly from the Gym Leader reached deep and warmed her heart just as the sunbeams warmed the battle field. Backdraw was just that Zamboni would have to take effort afterwards to freeze the rink again.

"Thanks! I took efforts to have Cherubi learn to summon the sun before challenging you, as well as been working towards this showdown for some time now. It's pleasant to see that part of the plan already worked out!~" ... "Now... Nathan doesn't want to outright recall the digital bird if he doesn't have to.  But if he does have to, he'll do it.  Don't need him causing problems at all the wrong times, after all.

At that point, Shiva was overly thankfull to Nathan. The sunlight was crucial currently! For one moment, she allowed herself to look up to the audience, as well waving to it for short while adjusting her scarf.

The showman laughs until the action picks up again.
