[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

Heart was thankful about Shiva words. "Thank you. Fairy-type always are cute but playtiful Pokemon. Is kinda rare in this part of the world. I already travel for a quite a time, but the Cottonee line is always a cute thing." Then Heart to his Axew. "Well, we have a little spar this morning. Me and him. He kinda respect me a little more, but I think we must do something more. Dragon pokemon is really dificult but I think I will handle." He sight.

"Well, about that, I was kinda here to find any good pokemon. And for other thing." Heart then show to both Shiva and Ven a little notebook filled with jokes about Pokemon in his pages. "I not just a collector of Pokemon, but a collector of puns about Pokemon. Its a hobbie I have. Some go in the pokemon journey to find pokemon, complete pokedex, or become a master pokemon. But me...." Heart open a smile. "I want become a Master PUNkemon." He chuckle a little. "Get it? Pokemon. Punkemon."

Hearing that Fairy Tpyes are cute somewhat flattered her, same with hearing a Thank-You that felt honest to her. Though, that flattery didn't lasted for long, especially if keeping Ven in mind and the VARIOUS aspects of fairylike Pokemon. In return for it, the soft tone of her voice increased, and the there was just a small amount of sadness within her. Or rather, no actually sadness, more...compassion. Compassion Ventus beside her might pick up if he wanted.

"Thanks! I wish you good luck on training and raising you green dragon. Though, I duuno if you know, but Fairies do belong to the Types hardest to train, among Dragon and a few others. It's not because they're disobedient like your Axew - what is it called again? - but because you never know what they're up to. Some, like Sylveon, are indeed cute and playful, reflecting love and sweetness. Others, like dear Cottonee here, are indeed adorable and decorative, but you just tasted how mischievous they can be and this will only increase as soon as mine becomes a Whimsicott. Oh, nope, don't worry though, this line has also the secret reputation to be a dear and cuddly friend if they've grown a liking on a person, and it seems this particular Cottonne decided to become more close and loyal than any of my other Pokemon so far, in a relatively short time that is. She'd do everything for me, stay with me always, and never leave my side anymore. Something's telling me that the bond we two forged lasts forever - and we haven't traveled far or long yet on top of that. The world's open to us... Cottonee already proved to me that she'll be there for me, ever. Right?" Barely noticed, but all while speaking about her beloved fluffball, she floated over to her Master and got comfortable in her arms, coincidently close to the heart on top on that. Seemed like no words were needed between them, carefull strokes through her fluff spoke for itself. Master's touch was incredibly pleasant and soft.

"Oh, but... Do forgive me, I lost track... Anyway, some Fairies are...unpleasant. If not what peope would call 'evil'. Take Shiinotic - never enter forests they live in at night, they enjoy nothing more than lure innocent people with their lights and intoxicate them with their spores just because they can. Even their owner must take extra-caution if he/she wishes to controll and command this Pokemon, few people actually mastered this task. So far, only a female artist living in the same region Shiinotic and pre-evolution are native. Or take Mawile... They're graceful Pokemon, but treat them wrong and you'll feel their wrath. It can happen very fast that one if severely injures his opponent in battle, especially if the owner is yet unexperienced." ... "I personally... fae-like and magically-inspired Pokemon seem to be fascinated by me and come to me, I always felt like this is due to my vivid pool of emotions and natural grace that I occasionally get complimented on. The fact that I'm not that fond of battles and by far no 'natural' battler - more a caretaker and Breeder-in-training - seems to play a big role as well, since Fairies are drawn to calmness and peace."

Now, with spoken out what she wished to speak out towards Heart - no need to worry him about F.A.E.S. or elaborate on the danger of Fairy Types, Shiva desperately needed a deep breath. It was relatively rare that she spoke that many words in one go, especially to someone she doesn't know very well yet, but he must have triggered something with his words towards Fairies.

Fell into silently catching up on breath. So, sadly, the only thing she coukd reply to Heart's love for puns was "Well, it's great to see that you founs somethingelse to collect and keep yourself busy with.", followed with a very slight yet appreciating smile.

The afformentioned empath raised an eyebrow at such a response from his Niobat, giving them an appraising stare for a few moment (Earning him a tiny timid screech from them), before giving Lucifer a slight nod of his head, and then addressing his dear friend's inquiry. "Well, I am currently spending my evening exploring Ginger Town with Lucifer, as I have not spent any good length of quality time with them since our dinner together in Corsage. Hopefully the sights and sound of this eventful area will give us plenty of opportunities to find interesting things to pass the time, though I hope nothing too fortuitous come along to spice up the end of the day. Going for a quick pick up trip to the daycare? Hmm...do you mind if I accompany you there on a later date? I've been thinking about Ariel being copped up in my PC since Hanael's arrival in my family, and decided to see if I can't make proposal for the caretakers there to look after her for the time being. If you don't want me to, I completely understand of course. The daycare is a rather important place for you, after all."

Aww, it seemed the draconic bad didn't approved her much...or he was just tired and exhausted already. Or was it her fairylike nature? Well, nevermind, Shiva knew when to leave a Pokemon alone.

What was interesting was that she also had absolutely nothing against Ventus accompanying her once to the Daycare. People go in and out of it everyday, and the owners do hopefully not mind if she's bring a close friend once. But why did he had to say daaaate?! It's in a different context, but stiiill... Better hide anything though before either Ven would pick an awkward feeling from her as well as Heart gets embarrased here. "I wouldn't mind you company in the Daycare, Ven, but not after we exchanged a few words, please. Alright? Nothing bad, do not worry or fret, we just...have to clear a thing first. Okay? Oh, and I feel like Ariel would enjoy the pond the pasture of the Daycare provides, we're also near Vapor Falls there and especially at night the splashing and rushing of the water is present."

Hmm, this talk technically takes care before Shiva knows about Infiltrator-Absol , so sadly I cannot have her ask Ventus whether he too would like to meet it. Can't ask Ventus to please keep quiet about the mission and NOT arise the slightest hint of suspicion in the Daycare owners either now because of Heart, but it's necessary to exchange a few words with Ventus first since Shiva would never forgive if he, who she cares for and calls a close friend, would mess things up for her now and crush the trust and hope the Daycare owners are putting into her, that's why.

Heart was truly happy to see such bond between Shiva and Cottonee. This world is quite fabulous, with people who can forge this type of bond with pokemon. He heard about the nature of Fairy-type and thinks for a second. He never tough the Fairy-type could be such imprevisive nature. Like have cute and cruelty, but kindness and prankster natures. That remember someone he know a long time ago. About a crazy, wild, and imprevisibe guy he meet and they became friends. Unfortanely they follow diferent paths. "You know? Thats why I love travel. You always discover something new about the pokemon world. The nature of all pokemon. His feelings, and unique things about them. Like humans. All pokemon is unique, and all humans is quite unique too. That caotic nature you say about the fairy-type kinda remind me someone I used to call a friend. We meet for a short time, but he was a good person, but with a impresive personality too. He also like the puns, hehe. Last time I heard about him he was in Celadon City during about some festival I think. Perhaps I should visit him someday."

Heart then heard Ventus puns and reply too. "Well, well, this is kinda my Secret Power and I like to Play Rough. Some people make Scary Faces after hear this puns, and they imediate Run Away. I want someday turn the Rage into Enconre and make a Sunny Day instead a Rain Dancing."

Yes, this Daycare also raises Pokemon for trainers! For a fee, of course, which is dependent on how disobedient the Pokemon is. They charge a very respectable $150 per day as a base price, and you can expect your Pokemon to earn around 2 XP per day.

"I wouldn't mind you company in the Daycare, Ven, but not after we exchanged a few words, please. Alright? Nothing bad, do not worry or fret, we just...have to clear a thing first. Okay? Oh, and I feel like Ariel would enjoy the pond the pasture of the Daycare provides, we're also near Vapor Falls there and especially at night the splashing and rushing of the water is present."

The sociologist let out a few more laughs at Heart's lovely puns, and tipped his head in consession to his prowess. He could spend the rest of the day trading puns with the traveling Rare Pokémon euthsiast , but he still had a evening with Lucifer to spend and wanted to finish up his conversation with Shiva first, so he decided against it. He'll have plenty of time on their journey to get to know the man in greater depth and detail...assuming he doesn't do something that alienate them entirely, or royally incites their wrath...

Ventus raised his eyebrow again at the sudden flustered feelings he was receiving from the mystical lass ('Affectionate embarrassment....?') , but wisely decided not to tug at that thread of intrigue, instead choosing to follow up on her request to him. "Very well, my friend. If you feel the need to discuss something pertaining to the facility, then its only proper that I lend my ear to you for a moment. Heart, would giving us some privacy for the time being while we converse about this? I promise you we can continue our own talks from earlier, so don't fret about it being a lost opportunity."

"Dont worry Ventus. I leave you two for now. I was going to have a quick look to find any neat pokemon. See you two later."

"Okay then, dont do anything funny you two! Tehehe!" Heart giggle and decide to find something to do. He dont want to intererupt the date from his new friends.

Oh, that last comment of Heart got her at a sensitive spot. Watching Heart leave, Shiva could not be prevented from glaring at him slightly malicious he left. Cottonee was rather curious about this reaction and looked up to her Master while snuglling closer to her. Oh, and throwing a few words towards him for the way. "We don't do anything funny, be quiet!!!  Ven, we'll go." With that said, she carefully took Vens hand gently - she knew she doesn't have to take much effort to have Ven follow her - and led him a little aside of the Main Street, to the edge of a small well-trimmed meadow that was there, and half under a big healthy looking oak tree that rooted there. My, it felt like ages since they were casually walking by one another's hand like a Sylveon would do with its Trainer - in that case, ribbon to hand - was the last time indeed as they were visiting the Aquarium in Corsage?

Now that they were out of earshot, Shiva felt comfortable and secure enough to actually speak out her worries. Still no easy task to do for her... but the issue that might come along with Ven visiting the Daycare HAS to be adressed before actually going there. Way too much was at stake.  Turning around to directly face the oddball of researcher, she looked up to him in a...was this a slightly sad and resentful expression? "Ventus... Nope, Ven... Listen, I have nothing against you accompanying me to the Daycare. In fact, I feel the owners wouldn't mind if I'd bring a good friend of mine, especially if you have a purpose to come (leaving Ariel there[?])." A slight smile concealed the worries the worries that were about to come now, it was indeed resentfulness that she was feeling. Mixed up with a little self-loath if remembering what a chaos the whole mission was bringing - BUT, never would she back off. It's her part to play in bringing the Almanac down from the inside, as well as her call to show that a silent hero in the background does deserve to be called a true hero. Oh, the old spats...

Oh, and a little pain if remebering how Ven threathened to dig for answers on his own. "But... Listen, it's probably needless to say, but... no word about the mission while you or you and me are there, okay? NOT A SINGLE HINT. You surely know what this whole thing as well as the Daycare itself means to me, the one home near Nacrene City can't train me, Dad does hope for me to take over his business sometime and so far I'd have nothing against staying in Chreshire for a little longer after the journey to learn professionally how to do so. Not even speaking about what may happen if The Almanac would get a word of it, well, you can surely imagine the scenario and what impact this would have on their whole region. Just... restrain your words, you are a Master at keeping things hidden from other people and even managed to successfully submerge for a little."

"...I trust in you. And I hope you don't disappoint me, ever. Okay?" With that said, she finally fell into silence while patiently waiting for the sociologist's reply, facing him observantly from the rim of her glasses, Cottonee mirrored this a little. It were all words and things he pretty sure knew on his own, but it doesn't hurt to be a little extra-cautious. Or, as Ven might call it, paranoid.

Ventus felt non-plussed on Heart's suggestive comments, as he knew they meant it only in jest and/or doesn't know how...nuanced his relationship with his 'magical'  and highly emotive friend, so he was going to politely wish him farewell....when Shiva lashed out at him for SOME reason and lead him to a more secluded local. He was rather baffled as to why she reacted to the comedian so vitriolically (Her current feelings were an embarrassed mess, so it was not giving him much to work on), especially when it was the teasing words of a practical stranger to the both of them and he was leaving anyway, but in the end decided against inquiring further into this. 'At this point in time, I rather not give her any reason to turn their ire towards me, especially when I'm on currently balancing on a tightrope between the friendship I have with them and Nate. Perhaps I'll ask why in the distant future, but for now this event can be put to rest between all of us....unless Heart decides to play gravedigger when we re-unite....' the empath thought, enjoying his walk about town with Shiva (and Lucifer, who was still hiding away in his tweed sweater) as its people went about their day in the wake of the Running, a simple smile on his face the whole time.

When the young lass lead him to a quiet grove on the town and gave her blessing to visit the Daycare, the researcher had a delighted smile on his face as they clasped their hands in joy, but he was cut off from thanking for her generosity with what she had to say next. His expression shift into neutral seriousness in a blink of an ear as they processed Shiva's justifiably fearful entreaty him (In light of recent events), before they closed their eyes and let out a small sigh. "I have no desire to play interloper in your affairs with the Daycare's covert operations in whatever fashion, Shiva. My intention was to sate my curiousity what and who was the place and its owners were like, arrange for them to take care of Ariel until further notice, and inquire in their experience with raising baby Pokémon, like my dear child Abaddon. I did well with Raphael as a single, uneducated father, all things considered.... (he went quiet for a moment as he remembered his first spat with them) , but if their is a chance to improve my knowledge in the area of Pokémon Rearing/Handling, it would be remiss of me to take it. You can never stop building on what you know, unless you choice to do so.

"For the Truth about your Mission...I did swear to you not to breath a word about or interfere in it unless you gave me explicit permission, and despite my...erratic behavior at times, I do keep my word. Even to the detriment of others and myself, I do keep my word. That, and I neither want to jeapordize both the covert op and endanger all of Cheshire in the process or your future career as a Master Pokémon Breeder, so I will refrain from doing either. ...I would ask you to have faith in me, but that is quite obviously hard to do right now, so trust that the last thing I want to do is make you suffer for my action. Your friendship means the world to me, and I don't won't to take any actions that could tarnish or break it in twain, so trust me my faithful friend..."

Ventus trailed off completely when he was finished,  awaiting Shiva's own possible rebuttal on his choice of words in his small speech to her. Once that was reply was said, the researcher gave them a quiet nod of his head, before telling her that he wishes not to hold them up any longer, before excusing himself from her company and bidding farewal until tomorrow morn. He still had the rest of the town to explore with his little devil before the day was completely over, and wanted to get to bed early after that for the long trip ahead of them on their way to Stair City, one of Almanac's base of operations. As both a researcher and a person that greatly cares about his Pokémon, he was disgusted with their lack of ethical restraint and dubious association with the Scimitars, and wanted the chance to start snooping/using his criminal experience to find more information about them...

Order: Finish up this conversation with Shiva, before having Ven continue exploring town with Lucifer and then heading to bed. Tomorrow's a big for the party, and he should take every opportunity to relax while he still can!

There wasn't actually much to say at this point, alls he did was to carefully listen to his words while getting a hold to one of his hands again. It gave her additional security, a thing that she certainly needed in such times. Butas he finished, Ven would most likely easily notice how plain thankful and calmed she was thanks to his words.

"Ven, you seem to get me wrong a little. I DO trust you. Still, after all that happened. I forgave you, you see? It's not that easy to get rid of me, especially if we were able to forge a bond of such a precious friendship. It's just...It may sound contrary, but even despite the trust it doesn't hurt to make sure again since it's quite a sensitive thing and way too much is at stake if something goes wrong or a hint falls that should better not be given or spoken out. However... I thank thee for your assurance to keep your words towards me, know that it and you mean a lot to me."

What followed, was comfortable silence, but it seemed to speak more than words. Sometimes, no words are needed to understand, and somehow Shiva was pretty sure he indeed understood and that her words reached him when he carefully expressed this with a quiet nod. She gave him a thankful smile for this, and as he told that he'll continue exploring the town a little more and head to bed early, she wished him all well for now and a good night. As well as "How about you join me on visiting the Daycare tomorrow morning? I wished to pick up that weird black-spotted egg tomorow anyway, so it'd be a good time for you to talk with the owners while I put it back into a portable incubator and say goodbye to the Protector Eevee of the pasture. It's quite an interesting exemplar they're bred there to my recommendation. Well until then!~ If something occurs, don't be shy to message me, we'll surely see one another tomorrow morning then." With that said, she gave him a last squeeze of his hand that she was STILL holding, before finally letting go of it, watching him leave, and then turn around to get back to what she originally wanted to do before she ran into both Heart and Ven - head to the Daycare, alone, and see how the egg is doing.

Afterwards, it'll be time to head back to the Center, where Shiva will run into Nathan and likely bring up the offer of meeting a young Absol (Infiltrator-Absol) the next morning.

'Pedigree excellent' may be very good news indeed! It means this Pokemon has likely been bred for some specific trait. There may be something special about the newborn."

"Most species in Creshire are migrants from or emigrants to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, those being the nearest. That means whatever is in this egg is rare indeed, by Creshire standards. Pokemon with a National Pokedex number over 500 are unlikely to be native here. Sometimes we have a naturalized population from Kanto or Johto, but some of the Kanto/Johto species are believed to be originally from Creshire. Kangaskhan is one I know of."
