Aha, thanks. A slight pity though that Shiva herself doesn't know this since as far as I remember, she didn't saw the battling nor that they were battling there at all. What about orders, shall they be open in the thread this time or be brought to GM discretly so the neither knows the other's actions?

Only way for it to be fair is via PM.  Though if you already know which pokemon you're starting with, we can probably send out our initial choices at least so there's three less PMs for Iron to worry about.

I already know and likely won't chance it, so feel free to send out the first two Pokemon for Nathan's side and I'll resond to it later.

I already have my choice as well, and its not going to change no matter what, so whatever you send out, Ven will not change his initial choice based on that.

Ventus always wanted to be a roll model for his friends and Pokémon, but he's beginning to think they are taking ALL the wrong lessons on how to act. He's not going to sit idly while yours character is like that, Dragonstrike.

Hmm... I cannot estimate safely what consequences this battle and soft-forcing Shiva to got through a setting that she pretty much dislikes and causes her to go ice-cold on the outside and emotionally unlocked on the inside before the battle even started will have in the relation between her and Nathan, but it's certain that it does no good to the freshly mending trust in him. :/

Uh oh, Shiva is having another form of negative emotional outburst! Looks like a job for Ventus, he who deals with intricately deals with emotion on a daily basis! Hopefully she'll listen to him, as he quite honestly doesn't want this battle going straight into Anti Friend Zone and ruin everything for ALL of them!

It indeed worked, Windos. C: No ice queen as Ven's battle partner, so Nathan can relax as well that she found her track back and got prevented to 'miss the mark' before the battle actually started.
