He still did with Shiva, but only because he hinted that he (Sans) had an Abra as a starting Pokemon and she was interested how he trained this Abra to grow further and evolve as she was somewhat unsure about what she could do additionally to her own training methods to flourish and learn to control his psychic powers. Speaking of that, I find it noteable that Shiva is the only one still standing from the Starting Group without a 'bad/drastic' backstory.

Does this make her inferior? No.
Does this make my chara less interesting, or even boring? No.

Practically, I enjoy this fact. Individuality on a different level? I wished for a friendly and somewhat more social character than I may be, and avoided to give her bad or drastic happenings in her past; as well as didn't wanted to relive things I may have suffered or experienced irl. (Though, we have in common that we developed depressive disorder due to partly our own actions, Shiva in-game just did way faster). I wanted to give her a pleasant home with a loving father who teached her about his business of Pokemon Breeding and Care, though of course there are happy and not-so-happy experiences and times that I already hinted in Game Thread a few times, I guess. (Her closeness to Umbreon has to come from somewhere, same for a fear and discomfort with Poison Types). An adult and compassionate mind, though unexperienced in having own Pokemon - not even speaking about battling with 'em - and actually wouldn't wanted to be a Trainer, but agreed to journey through the region nevertheless in the end to find this desired experience and herself(?).

Also believed that playing with a preferance for Fairy Types and a vivid pool of emotions (okay, spoiler, that's a trait she inherited from me) would be fun.

No that Sans. It's a reference to other Sans (Undertale got it?). Heart don't really know about Sans is the name of Ventus brother. It's just reference. Just for humor.

Well, doesn't change the fact that Windos used that same reference already.  And it's a rather serious topic for Ventus, too.  So yeah, don't let Ventus hear that...

If you think Nathan's backstory is bad, well, Ventus's is a completely different can of worms that you probably don't want to open.

Its so convoluted and bad that its like a half rotten onion: parts of it are still good and/or fresh, but the rest is a rotten, spoiled mess that just plain awful to go through, and the whole thing will still leave you with tears in your eyes.

Ven doesn't have a reason to actually tell Heart, given that he has not acted out in paranioa around Fairy/Arcane types that has adversely affected them and he doesn't know them that well to begin with. It was at least a half a week or a week of hardship before he got the chance to spill the beans to Nathan, a longer time for Shiva to get those details and more, so its going to take awhile before Ven opens up enough to share more details of his past with your character, and those details might not touch upon his more...tumultchous moments in his life...

Fixed that error. Rolled a 3 so the later results ended up the same. If we catch 'em all (the errors, that is) before a new round begins, we have no problems!

Currently hashing out a rule discrepancy in my head (my fault from much earlier in the game) and then we can resume the battle once I've got that figured out.

What are the initiatives for Plusle and Porygon-Z, @Iron? (Keeping in mind Nathan now has a +6 bonus to initiative due to having 3 survival now, so Grid now has 8 and Starmie has 7)

Seeking cover behind Breloom is it then, also the first move I ordered targets Porygon and is used twice, while the performance of Plusle is finished the same way.

I might have to send out Apsis to counter that Porygon Z of yours, as Nasty Plot Download Tackles are NOT fun to battle against, and they are a nasty little bugger in general on top of that!
