Technically, you too should have a free Encounter Slot left for the day, unless you counted the visit of the Daycare to talk about Ariel staying there as one. (I didn't counted the meeting of Infiltrator-Absol as an Encounter, the first one for Shiva was the Tutoring Session for Nasty Plot that occured around noon. None said the first Encounter has to happen in the mornings!~)

Aww... Well, since Heart likely won't stay, he is all free to coincidently stumble over Shiva if he decides to walk around in town, and is fine to cheer if he decides to approach on her, as allowed from my side earlier.

I have a couple of Ideas, but I need further word from Iron before I can commit to any given Encounter...assuming I still have one left in the day, that is. I counted it since it was a straight business arrangement between Ven and the Daycare owners, but if Iron wants to give me another, that would be quite nice!

Well, you can technically take more than 3 encounters in a day, but 4+ cuts into the nighttime hours, as we saw in Corsage.

I also imagine that Iron would impose penalties for our characters if we made the habit of burning the midnight oil, since staying up at odd hours and not getting enough sleep tends to degrade a person's overall performance. That, and going without enough sleep can make one go crazy, and since Ventus is already a or PAST that particular threshold...

Ven is not likely to fall asleep tonight until Shiva comes back from her battle, though, so another Encounter slot for me to do with as I choose would be nice, so long as it doesn't come at a cost.

I'm actually quite glad now that Ventus ended up going to the Pokémon Center instead of following after your character @PhantomUnderYourDesk , as he would had a aneurism at the sight of blatent WITCHCRAFT! that is be conducted in front of him. It might be aesthetic for the most part, or at the very least not malicious in intent, but he would be too terrified/enraged to really fully process everything besides the obvious. He wouldn't commit bloody murder on them, obviously - he's a zealot and a former criminal, but not a cold blooded killer or a idiot - , but to say that he would be 'displeased' by them would be the understatement of the century.

Shiva will return safely to you after her battle, and gladly sleep over with Ven in his room. Hope he doesn't mind a welcome-cuddle for the support he gave her~ To me, it's not night yet in-game, since I've been allowed to brighten up the low evening sun during this Encounter, if I wanted. It'll probably be dark though when Shiva arrives at the Center, since she's around the outskirts of town.
