[Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins
Wow, that is vague. Probably inspired by the Entei/Unown movie. I can make use of that idea.

Hm... a Slowbro would be very common, but a Slowking much rarer. There are usually a couple Kings Rocks floating around at any one time, and other people have the knowledge of making it...might also depend on the Shellder...I'd probably say 3k, plus $500 for being oversized.

Damage pool is exactly equal to the number of gym badges you have and it ignores the foe's Defense.  Doesn't benefit from STAB and Strength, but can Crit.

Fixed damage is pretty fun with lots of gym badges under your belt.

Night shade is akin to Psywave - it's 1 dice of direct damage per gym badge. More details in the first Meta post, at the bottom.

Certain other accomplishments might count in place of gym badges.

Thanks for clarifying that quickly! Yeah, I assume it'll be fun with a lot of Gym Badges - that my chara might not get. Certain other customized accomplishments that add to this would be greatly appreciated, but I'm not quite sure yet how often I'll end up using Litwick and the move itself in battle. This will determine over the time and the further Pokemon Shiva collects.

A note concerning talking pokemon: it seems there's lots of instances in the anime besides Meowth, the Slowking in the Lugia movie, and Legendaries/Mythicals. Even some pokemon you wouldn't expect to be able to can apparently use Telepathy.

Some of the examples:
Santa Claus's Lapras can use telepathy.
There was a Tentacruel that could use telepathy.
Some ghost and psychic types (and Zorua, Zoroark, and Lucario) can use their powers to talk via telepathy (including Max's Ralts in the anime)
Arceus just flat out uses human speech.
There's also a talking Snover, apparently. Oh, and a Gastly too.

There's some weird ones in there, that's for sure. Lapras, Snover, and Tentacruel are probably the weirdest.

Ohhh, I remember the episodes with telepathly talking Tentacruel and the Ralts that will wait for Max. Welp, now I'll head in for the night though, hitting the clothing store will come tomorrow.

I was reading that same page. Creshire Legendaries have been known to speak telepathically or through other humanlike forms of communication, but Rocket's Meowth is a unique creature. I suppose if you spent an amount of XP equivalent to never being able to learn a move ever again....

Santa's Pokemon are probably legendary in and of themselves.

Yeah, Meowth spent a REALLY long time working on his human speech.  Or rather, pronunciation, apparently...but now he can't use moves, period (not even ones he knew before he started walking on two feet and talking).  Really interesting trade off, and not one most would probably look for...and not even cloning him could mimic his hard work (though a reflection of him could...hmmm...)

Hey, so a Delibird would actually be worth something for once in that case! (disregarding the fact that they already are in pokerole) Tongue

If a Shellder explicently required for a Slowking Evolution as well, couldn't Ventus just catch this one, do the trading thing with the King's Rock, then use Shelder on Slowpoke and skip the river altogether. If not, looks like Apsis will be having shellfish soon....!

....Though not today. I'm about to head to my night class, so I won't be sticking around for long. Oh well, there is always tomorrow...
