(Tentacool, Slowpoke or Shellter. Like Tentacruel evolution since it's poison type. Like to have a Slowking evolving from Slowpoke. Or Shellter. Like Ice-types too.)

Then Heart notices he talking to Ventus and apologize.
"Sorry. I get a little irritated when I lost the chance to get some good Pokemon... I shouldn't throw you my stress. It's just... frustrated."
Then Ventus invite Heart to fishing.
"Well, I kinda already have a water-type, but, why not? Don't have anything better to do. Like a wise man say once: "To someone who doesn't wave nothing, half it's the double."
Heart feel a little better. Ventus know how to make someone feel better.
"Ah, I understand now. Defeat as a Pokémon Trainer is always a frustrating, bitter event, more so when you have to forcibly end the yourself for one reason or another. However, you wouldn't have considering such a possibility unless the other outcomes of your battle -having your Pokémon being Fainted or severely debilitated- were far too dire/distasteful for what was being wagered, so take Heart in that, he! As for Rare Pokémon, their is still daylight left and untouched ground to cover to find one or another to add to your collection; if not, we still have the entire Cheshire region to explore, and missing the specimens here just mean you get to collect another interesting one at a later date," Ven said, a kind smile on his face as he slowly but surely improved the mood of his newest friend. Despite being a tad bit abrasive at times, the empath had absolutely no ill tidings for them, and he hated seeing someone miserable at their own hands; it reminded him too much of his woes, old and new....
"If you catch a water Pokémon you don't wish to add to your team roster, you can always trade them away for Poke, Items, or another Pokémon that would suit your fancy. That is the wonders of the open market: someone out their is looking for the service/thing you are provide!!" When Heart left to go fishing, Ven continued to gather firewood until there was enough to burn through the night, before decided to take a break for a bit, letting his body rest from the excerise/camp making and to see what pops up in the interim. Different Pokémon come out at different points of the day, so he was not finished yet with his explorations/hunting!
(Did Nathan receive Ven's voice message yet, @ Dragonstrike? Also, the bait is either a Berry or meat from something, @ Spiritmon; it helps find rarer Pokémon, I think...)

You can use the Citrus Berry, or you can just say "I bait the hook with whatever I think a Tentacritter will eat."
It's assumed that all trainers have at least a few day's worth of Pokemon food with them at all times.

Tyrogue Round 2
Neat, that Tyrogue indeed had that vigor it was known for, on top with not being dumb - that suprise attack surely was a good call. Shiva however was not impressed as her fluffball was by that, and her foe seemingly only rouse to higher strenghts. "Not yet surrendering, huh? Well, me neither, bring up the entire range!~ Cottonee, hang in there and toy with the opponent if you like... As for you, Litwick.. Ehm..."
That was the point where her mischievous smile diminished just a little. Litwick surely had his fun and there was much more behind that cute smile - or it was just Shiva's imagination. "Well, uhm *cough* bring up an Ember 'gainst your foe."
Cottonee's Evasion on everything that Tyrogue attempts on her: Still 5 D6.
Litwick's Ember on Tyrogue, as a finisher move: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 3 Channel = 8 D6 for Accuracy
For damage, still 5 D6 and 1 CD to inflict Burn1.
Additional note, you adressed Litwick with 'he' first and I just jumped on that because I'm fine with that. ^^ Fire Spin is still active.
Calmly calling her fluffball to her side, Shiva stepped closer to her fallen foe. The battle has taken its toll on Tyrogue, and there he was, fainted... Nothing of that vigor running through his veins was visbily on the outside for now.
...Not for Litwick, though. He was still standing beside his foe (was he already familiar with this Tyrogue?), smiling creepy-cutely as the flames subsided. He didn't even looked up as his Master sat down beside him, with the fluffball in her lap, and looked down on her newest companion with an expression of...satisfaction. Her voice was low and neutral, but there was certainly a hint of curiosity within. And pure allowance. "I promised you the life force of this Pokemon, did I, Litwick? Well, there you are. Drain as much from it as you like, enjoy the feast."
Tyrogue most likely cannot fight that, but Litwick isn't strong enough to soft-kill him by draining to a harmful level, that much did Shiva knew and decided to trust in the candle for this one time.

Skorupi has 6 Will, so it'll just be his min chance.
Pokeball: (3)(1)
Will: (5) The Pokeball breaks
Great Ball: (6)(6)(5)(6)
Skorupi is caught!
He (or she, it's your choice) has no happiness or loyalty, and he has a penalty to his Disobedience, making it 0!
He's currently able to use Poison Sting, Pin Missile, Poison Fang, and Venoshock.
Sniper is the ability.
He was worth 4Xp/2XP.

Fishing: (4) - based on one point of survival. You figure your Sitrus Berry won't attract a Tentacritter, but it should work for a sloth/otter thing like Slowpoke.
It works - you drag the bait along the bottom of the Great River, and after bumping into a Slowpoke-shaped shadow five or six times, Slowpoke turns around and bites the hook.
You pull it on in!
Remember when battling to leave instructions about leaving it unfainted if you wish to catch it in a good mood.

Tackle on (4) Cottonee
(5)(3)
She can probably evade that, right?
(6)(3)(1)(2)(1) Nope. That's about the fourth Eyes of Apsis today! Must be a bad moon in the sky, either in Creshire or over my apartment.
2 Str + 2 power -3 vit = 1 dice
(3) Luckily, Tyrogue is too small to do much damage to Cottonee. He tries a full body football-style tackle, which doesn't work on a floating Pokemon.
(3)(1)(6)(4)(5)(3)(2)(6)
(3)(2)(4)(2)(2) Tyrogue faints
He was just worth 1XP for everyone (don't spend it all in one place), but Litwick seems very happy as he settles on Tyrogue's pointy forehead for a short time. I'll also give Shiva +1 XP for good roleplaying.

A Slowpoke. Well it's not what Heart call "rare" but it's a interesting catch. And have a rare typing: Water/Psychic. Perhaps Heart could catch and find something useful to use him. Slowking it's a cool evolution.
"Let's go! Viktor!"
His ghost tree come and make a shy shout. "Let's do some good catch! Viktor use Confuse Ray! If the first one fail use a second one! Then use one feint attack!
Weak him but don't fainted him!
Command: Confuse Ray one time, and if fail use a second one. If the first one succeed use Feint attack one time then throw the pokeball.
